ALAN DThe key to a good uhaul experience is to set everything up several days in advance. I originally reserved a 17' truck and uhaul called to let me know that the 17' truck was not returned yet. They then upgraded me to a 20' and offered a 10 % discount for the inconvenience of changing my reservation.

TaDarryl SThis location does a fantastic job. We frequently rent cargo vans for our catering and event business and every van rental has gone very smoothly. The cargo vans are always new or fairly new, low mileage, clean, and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We use to own 4 vans of our own but after spending the additional money on insurance, maintenance, and registration, we determined it was more cost effective to rent the cargo vans for our needs on the weekends for our catering events. We only own one van for our daily needs and rent the addition 2+ cargo vans on the weekends. Thank you for always taking care of us. Keep up the great job and service you provide.

Alfred MMy overall service was pretty good. However, the trailer that I rented caught a flat tire halfway into my trip. Customer Service/Roadside Assistance were excellent. They got to me less than an hour repaired the tire and I was on my way.

Eric HRating for the Alexandria VA UHaul location: POOR, would NOT recommend this location in Alexandria VA -- The staff member who worked in the parking area in the Alexandria VA UHaul location where we left the car carrier overnight was RUDE and BRIBED us for $25. If we didn't hand over $25 in cash, he refused to help us. HIs name is Abdul. And he went on and on about how he and the woman in the UHaul office had many disagreements. She was helpful and polite. We had specified Alexandria on Rt 1 as our preferred pickup location when we made the reservation a few weeks in advance. But 2 days before our scheduled pickup we were told there would not be a car carrier on Alexandria, and that Oxon Hill MD had one. So we drove to Oxon Hill the day before we planned to leave Alexandria and brought the car carrier back to Alexandria ourselves.

ROGER FThe Uhaul App was not working when I returned the rental, therefore I left the rental at the location and dropped the keys in the drop box. I tried to close out the rental when I got home using the app because it wasn't working at the location but was told I had to drive back to the location to close out the rental. This is was very frustrating! Needless to say, once I drove back to the location to close out the ticket, it worked. Other than this unforeseen app issue, my overall rental was excellent! I will use again.

Jeffrey RLike I said before. The vehicle was clean but it needed maintenance. I know that's not the dealers fault but I thought that truck was going to break down on me. By the time i got to my destination it was smoking and smelling like oil. I hope you service that vehicle before someone else drives it. Inhad tonkeave it with a different dealer because I didn't think I would make it to the original one.
