Charged more than I was quoted and drop off location was changed without my knowledge

Rear overhead door was open & could not be closed. Problem was that the latch moved to the down or latched position after the rear overhead door was raised. This probably happened because a previous renter raised the door without having the latch locked in the open position. The hook/latch hit the overhead door frame preventing the door from being lowered. I reached my hand up into the space where the door raises in the trailer roof, released & opened the latch. Rear overhead door then worked with no problems. Told the people at the U-Haul rental location about the problem & how I corrected the problem.

The clerk gave incorrect information regarding rates. There weren't any moving blankets, or furniture dollies available, even though it was on the reservation. One way rentals should not be charged for 2 days. We used a truck for 5 hours yet paid for 2 days. I will not be renting through UHaul next time.

I was overcharged for mileage. I did not go 13 miles !!! At the most, I went 8. Bc if that, I will not use or recommend this location again !

The trailer itself was fine. When I arrived to the location it was full of parked vehicles and a few food vendors that made it difficult to navigate. I entered the facility and waited in line for approximately 35 minutes while one employee (the only onsite employee) had difficulty understanding and speaking English. It was so difficult to communicate that he called another woman and I spoke with her via his cell to finalize my reservation. Once the reservation was finalized there was no one to help me lift the LARGE trailer onto my hitch. On top of this, the trailer was parked perpendicular to the gas pumps where people were pulling in to fill up with gas. Once the pumps were clear I had to navigate my suburaban between the pumps and the trailer. Once this was finished I again had to navigate a myriad of other vehicles parked in and around the filling station and finally, get past the food vendors without hitting anything. Ugggggg. What an unpleasant experience to say the least.

They didn't give me the key to the pad lock for the back of the U-Haul. Had to delay moving until the next day because I could not get into the back of it. They tried to charge me extra for not getting it back in time

You can train the employees in your actual Uhaul stores to have the superb service as this Exxon location staff displayed. I have been a Uhaull customer for years and have dealt with different actual Uhaul stores and majority of them, I would never ever deal with again. The Uhaul at 900 Roswell Road in Marietta, GA is the best Uhaul store But, this will be the ONLY location that I will rent future Uhaul trucks!!! Hands down one of the best!!! 1. My reservation was ready. 2. The truck was very clean and full of gas. 3. The customer service was EXCELLENT NO LINE...NO WAIT!!! 4. I was not overcharged and/or treated rudely

The representative was not helpful at all. I was in a hurry and what should have taken 15 minutes ended up being 30+ minutes. The other customers in the store seemed to take priority over the U-Haul customers. It seems that whatever way/condition the previous customer leaves the equipment is how the next customer receives it. The straps on the tow dolly that I rented were stuck and not wrapped correctly which added more time to the loading process.

App states that you can pickup 24/7 from this location however we had to wait until 8:30 am to pickup when store opened. Besides that everything worked perfectly!

Include details of where to find the dropbox for the keys and if the rental contract needs to be dropped in the dropbox as well. We were a bit confused.

Then I got charge for an extra day the pickup location gave me an discount for me to drop off at this place that was not on there plus she was very rude I swear I wouldn't recommend a dog to that location at all

Our uhaul would not start at first when we picked it up. This problem continued until we dropped it off. Cost us day of a rental we didn't need and we still had to pay for it.

The truck that I ordered online was not available when I got to the location someone should have informed me before getting there. So communication is the key. I declined insurance and was still charged for it and I was charged 7,89 for gas when I filled the gas up before returning the truck

Contract was all wrong. Asked for one way. Charged 190 for wrong dropoff. Also input my driver's license information in and said my ex wife Andrea Freeman was the authorized driver! Also charged 80 for 2 extra days when the contract clearly states 3 days! Feeling really taken advantage of by U-Haul and the lady at the location that I got the truck from clearly didn't pay attention to me when I went in to get the truck or to the information she input! This makes us never want to use U-Haul again and never recommend to anyone. Very very poor customer service! Taking money from a disabled woman who is on a fixed income. And charging her for things that were not supposed to be charged.

The trunk/storage space floor was dirty filled with debris and needed to be cleaned out. The cabin was pretty clean. I was also charged a $14 safe move fee, when I selected the free no coverage. I emailed uhaul to please remove the charge but have not heard back yet. I also did not like seeing a hidden environmental fee of $1 and rental tax fee of $3. Would rather know all fees involved up front.

Equipment was filthy and smelled like urine. Had an old fingernail in the cup holder and smelled HORRID!

My issue is with the website. My confirmation email had a different location listed as compared to when I logged into the sight. Not sure why this was, I even had my wife double check the email to make sure I was looking at it correctly. That was a bit confusing.

The location required additional personal information (family member and phone number) without a valid reason. I would not recommend this location unless they bring assistance in lifting a 6 x 12 foot trailer and connecting it to a trailer hitch. My goal was to rent from PS Food Exxon 600 Powder Springs St Marietta, GA and deliver to Uhaul in Garner NC. Prior to the close of business I called Uhaul and attempted to change the drop off location to the same pick up location : PS Food Exxon 600 Powder Springs St Marietta, GA 30064 and be charged for a local vs an out of state rental. This was denied by Uhaul.

Every time we get a uhaul it is a huge problem and mess. Either the vehicle isn't available on time or at all, and customer service takes forever to get connected to. Will be using Penske going forward. Not worth the stress and time suck anymore.

The back of the truck was filthy, dozens of cigarette butts and crushed Fritos were in the back. (I have plenty of pictures). Location did not feel safe at all. It appeared as though there has been a homeless person sleeping in the back of the truck. Didn't come with the dolly, guy that checked me out was argumentative about it, insisting that he took it off the bill. My cell service was slow and the receipt wouldn't load in store. He would not give me a printed receipt. After I left, it finally loaded and he did NOT take the dolly off the bill and charged me for it. I ordered the truck and moving supplies online, it was supposed to be at the S Cobb street location, my truck pick up was transferred to another location but my moving supplies were not, so I still had to go the the second location. Thankfully the S Cobb St location was able to give the dolly that I had already been charged for.

Alright location, average. Staff is friendly, convenient it's an Exxon to fill up at drop off. Needs to be cleaned up outside, but store is orderly inside.

Great experience. I rented the largest 26 footer. I was worried about driving it, but once I had it on the interstate and got comfortable with it, I had a blast driving it fully loaded. And yes, I drove from Georgia to Kentucky, over the mountains. It handled just like a small passenger vehicle, and thats no joke! My only negative comment is that it was a very expensive rental, but cheaper doing it myself than paying a company to do it. Overall, it was a pleasure doing business with Uhaul. I will definitely use them in the future. And if you are already a good driver, and you know how to use your mirrors and watch your turning, the largest 26 footer is very easy to drive. I worried myself to death over it, but I shouldn't have because they really are nothing to drive(and no, I am not paid by Uhaul to say this, lol). If you are still worried about it, but need a driver, look me up and give me a holler......lol. Be sure to rent your vehicle ahead of time, just to make sure you will have the size vehicle you need.

Most frontline support was provided by the South Cobb Pkwy location, which deserves a lot of credit! Very helpful for me, as an amateur.

You should not contract with the exxon station on powder springs CT in Marietta, GA. My whole experience was completely terrible, and now I do not ever plan to use UHaul again. Completely disgusting experience. I would never ever recommend this to anyone.

Next time the store could actually be open so I can get my reservation! I arrived at the location only to find out they were closed for the day! I've yet to hear anything from anyone even after calling customer care on 8/15/2022! The whole situation was a major inconvenience and I'll never use this location again!

Very rude lady. The gas station is disgusting. Didn't have the furniture pads we had reserved and I declined the hand truck I reserved. I told her to take them off the bill, she didn't and now it's a nightmare trying to get charges removed!

I don't know if it was Uhaul or the location but my reservation was all screwed up. The hours that uhaul have for the location is not accurate. I had to find a SAFE place to park and wait for an hour which put my day behind for using the truck. When I complained, they said my reservation time had been moved. BY WHOM, NOT ME and I received zero notification. I wouldn't send a review if this wasn't a consistent problem. DO BETTER!

The truck I had has inconsistent AC conditions. 15 minutes in the drive, it quit. That should be fixed and I believe I should reimbursed for part of the payment I made towards the rental.

Survey asked about the location that I rented from. 600 powder springs was awesome. I stay 5 minutes away from where I stay. I would have been extremely happy with the service and would have given 5 stars had I not had to go to two other locations before hand. Then only to be sent 5 minutes from my house . My reservation was for 1230. After having to travel to 3 different locations by the time I was given a truck it was 145. So no I was not happy with the service

This place added an extra day They waited for the 24 hr period and then checked the truck in. They charged for a dolly which was not in the truck. If you need to rent from U-Haul I would suggest you don't rent from this place.

I ended up hooking up the auto transport trailer myself, which was fine since I have rented these many times before. Just different than the regular U-Haul locations.

Better equipment. It was shaking a lot and didn't feel secure compared to previous rentals. Also the Uhaul itself wasn't previously cleaned before us.

The issue I had was with the App not working correctly. It uploaded some pics but others it wouldn't load which stopped me cold in the process. This happened both at the beginning and again when I was trying to return the truck. Luckily the location was staffed and they were able to manually complete the rental process. NO CLUE WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE IF IT WAS AN UNSTAFFED LOCATION......

Velma has great customer service , my wife and I really liked her and because of the first impression she gave us, everything went on smoothly. We were even very happy with the movers you connected us with , very professional and efficient team- Luke and Ibe are great.

This location was good and the person at counter was polite and helpful. However it wasn't the original location I had reserved with. That location wouldn't answer their phone and was locked up when I went to get dolly.

The staff member was very polite and nice however the truck breaks were poor and the transmission sounded as if it was going to fall out.

At this location nothing needs improvement. I was suppose to drop off at the Dallas location who can't even answer the phone.

The truck was very dirty. There was an old coffee cup left inside, I also reserved a furniture dolly and utility dolly and did not receive either

I am still working on this but my credit card was charged twice for the same rental. I am hoping one will show up as credited shortly. If not, my experience will be based solely on how quickly the credit can be achieved.
