Pick up took longer than expected. Vehicle was dirty. The back area was dirty with dirt. We wiped it but was pretty filthy. The cabs floor mat was dirty as well.

The vehicle was great. I left you three quarters tank, clean van, I picked it up with only a quarter of a tank. The asshole running the gas station was a dickhead. Not sure if he is an employee stiff or owner operator but he was a jerk.

Please clearly state on the website (where you have us make reservations for the trucks) weather or not there is a ramp available. It's not clear and when I picked up the van, there's was NO RAMP!! it made moving a fully loaded 500 lb tool box even harder to move. I accepted it anyway as I had no choice and no other options. My tool box removal was made more difficult as a result.

I received good guidance (on the phone) from the person behind this UHaul business; she sent me the links that had instructions re: how to pick up my van and how to return it. Also, when I visited the site to see where I was going to pick up the van, the clerk in the store was also very helpful. Thanks for a good experience, everyone. I would recommend your UHaul business to others.

I ran into an issue, probably rare, but there was no cellular service at this location when I picked up and dropped off the van. That made it impossible to check in and return the vehicle from the app. I had to drive away from the location to call support. They were very helpful but it would be great to have an alternative method to pickup/return the vehicle without being in teh exact location.

The key box was rusted and got stuck. When i tried to get it unstuck it sliced my hand open (great way to start a move, not like i needed my hands for that anyways).

The people that work there were wonderful. I think it should be emphasized that this is a remote location without a live person work with Moving is super stressful and I hired people by the hour to come with me. I spent a large amount of time on the phone trying to get set up and return done while they were waiting so it ended up costing me lots of money just for waste of time. My suggestion would be a follow up after reservation call or maybe large font in the response email for reservation to be aware. This is not Live pick up place. Also, the gas cap was open and hanging. It should probably have a lot of some sort. Again the person that worked here was very nice and very kind, however, it was beyond his control. I wish U-Haul would compensate me a little bit for the wages. I paid the people to move. It was an extra 1 1/2 or more between the phone calls and being on hold to sort this out. Convenient location, easy to find, easy to pick up & drop off. Minor issue -- inside of driver's windshield was dirty from a previous driver wiping fog from inside. Minor issue - no backup beep. [Actually, this worked perfectly for us. We loaded the truck at a preschool during afternoon nap time, and everyone was glad that we didn't wake the kids up!] Complaint: The UHaul App [NOT a complaint about this location!] The UHaul app requires that your default browser must have Location permission ON when you open the UHaul app. IF your default browser's location permission is OFF, you won't be able to follow the pickup or dropoff procedures in the app. For most people, your default browser's location permission will be ON by default, so you won't have a problem (except that a lot of people will know exactly where you are). IF you've turned your default browser's Location permission OFF, definitely turn it ON before your pickup or dropoff. It'll be a time-saver.

I booked this location was expecting a person, but the whole process was through online, it was not bad but very confusing and I have to make many phone calls, I really spent too much time on phone calls, I could just do online from the beginning

Gas station attendant told me to do the self checkin. Would not do anything with the other stuff I was returning and told me to leave it in the truck. I bet one of the homeless people around the station helped themselves after I left.

I was able to get a truck fast which is what I needed. It took FOREVER to deal with the online rental process and there is no person to help. I will always choose going inside and having someone help me vs. using the online system. The entire online rental system was a total pain!

All the data necessary for renting the vehicle, that doesnt require the customer to be at site, should be collected before hand to save time

I didn't know there was a pre check in that I could have done before I got to the location ahead of time. I thought I wasn't supposed to access until I got to the site, so that took a little longer than I would have liked and the website was having a little difficulty loading. Other than that, really easy. Would recommend more mikes for a kne way trip - 63 is pretty low. Thanks

No dolly in truck. Tried to call location when arrived but no answer and the number stated in the voicemail was different from the number provided/I called with no reference to in the voicemail. I had requested online checkin but this was not available when I picked up truck.

The location has really bad cell service, and it really impacts the ability to use the Uhaul app and website. It took me over an hour to get enough connection to complete the check out process.

Truck had dirt in the bed, damage to the hood and steering shaft, and the app didn't function properly to return the truck after. Customer service was very helpful once I went through the 15 min + wait time. Sounded like they're used to it and have streamlined the "fix".

Reserved mobile pick-up for 7pm at 2:52pm. When I arrived at 7pm was told facility was closed and mobile pick up was not available. Employee at gate called manger who stated they had called me and left a voicemail at 5:54pm to tell me that mobile pick-up is not an available option at location (even though that is a service that is available and was confirmed online when I had placed the order). I never received said call or voicemail. I had to drive 12 miles to Pacifica location for a small truck (15' vs. 20' that I had originally reserved). Took 1,5hrs for pick up when it should have only taken me 15min as I live 0,7 miles away from the Bayshore location. In addition, the new truck was at at a local pickup location which required me to travel excessively an additional 12 miles out of the way. This whole experience was frustrating and stressful.

The gas cap should on the pre inspection list. I found it broken when I had to gas the truck. First 3 folks I spoke to wasn't helpful, but Anna had the best service when I called in for missing dolly- 2 ea. customer service was hard or difficult to contact if you have issues with the Mobil phone pickup. If the truck had no issues or missing items - I'm sure it would've been easy leaving right after pre-inspection . Other than that I would still recommend this type of service

Make sure the truck has windshield washer fluid. There were some leftovers from previous users in the truck cargo, hinges and some minor garbage, nothing that inconvenienced need, really. Very happy with the experience and Meghan, the customer service rep who called me.

The main thing was the tire on the left side where the driver is needed air. We needed to put air on the tire before we left.

This was not my ideal location as I my original rental was for a 15' truck at 4095 Pacific Bl San Mateo, CA 94403, which is much closer to my move destination. Upon arriving my truck was not ready and I had to call to see where the closest available truck was. My order was changed to a 10' truck and the pick-up was in Pacifica, which was a 25 minute drive to pick it up. Not only did I have to make multiple trips for the move because of the smaller size truck, but my drop off was 25 mins away instead of the 5 min that I had planned for. This increased the gas consumption, miles as well as time. I was very disappointed with the overall experience and I hope u-haul makes this right by provide me with a discount.

First the station has nothing to with rentals it all self served. Your website and rental process needs improvement i it took over 40 minutes to work out the program, and a 50 minute hold for customer service. Also the to information after the rental was processed should be emailed to the customer so when returning you see what of gas need be added. Also 2 times when the engine light was on. Did know if the vehicle was safe to drive.

My experience with the mobile verification system is terrible. I lost 1 hour of my time when the app wanted an alternate number and even asked for documents like passport, etc to verify. My brother and I were on the phone for almost an hour before we got someone live who could live verify since I had already submitted my documents since we arrive at the scheduled pick up time. Like I mentioned, the verification process on the mobile app was horrible. I will never recommend Mobile check/in out for renting UHAUL. The place for pick up was average, the truck was average. The location was perfect since it was near a gas station where I could refill the gas before returning it. Everything would have been good if not for the verification process. There needs to be a way that you already verify the driver online with all that information you need so that when the person picks up the truck they don't need to get hassled with all of that. There were so many procedures on top of that to take photos. If one is not so techie with their mobile phone like I, you could lose patience, time and just get a headache with your move. Again they could have done a demo that shows what actually happens after you take the photo, step by step. It made it look easy on the demo but none of my experience with the app made it easy. It was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I should have done it on the counter but it was a Sunday and Uhal location I chose was closed. I am commenting on my experience so that other renters who choose this way of renting a UHAUL will be forewarned. Merci!

In the online process upon return, there were yes/no questions, but no way to give notes. It asked about an systems light that was on & you could answer yes, but not type in which ones. There was also no place to type any additional issues with the vehicle (not dyer enough to fix before the next customer rental), but there wasn't any place to list that information either. I was just concerned about a cleaning deposit or any additional charges on things that I found after check-in. All the rest went quite smoothly.

The location was fine. The online portal for self-service checkout failed multiple times, both during check in and check out. Please improve the quality of the application. At this location, trucks will always be dirty. The beach is mere yards away and the wind is always blowing. Not a big deal at all, but customers can't be expected to return a perfectly clean truck when they check-out a dirty truck.
