amanda dWife: the truck ride was somewhat rough. I wished I had bonine but all we found in the roadside stores was Dramamine (too sleepy). Husband: wish I'd known about the speed governor. Surprised to find out in an 80 mph zone that the truck would go only 75. We were glad there was room between the seats for a cooler. We really appreciated cold drinks and refrigerated snacks during our cross-country trip.

jerry pStill waiting for a refund of $10 plus tax for moving blankets I did not get. The gas tank was not full as indicated on my check-in receipt. Checking out the truck must have taken 45 minutes!

Todd MThe Packwood Inn U-Haul agent was exceptionally helpful and courteous! When I wanted to change the agreement by turning in the truck at my destination that according to my contract would incur a $900 penalty on me, she tried hard to get the penalty cancelled. Though the company would not cancel the penalty and I had to drive tha truck back at considerable wasted expense and inconvenience to me, I APPRECIATED VERY MUCH HER STRONG EFFORT on my behalf. The company's policy on this $900 penalty is incomprehensible to me but apparently I agreed to it when I signed the contract. I will be much more careful when signing a U-Haul contract in the future and probably will never again sign a Local Return contract with U-Haul.

RICK PWhen I rented the auto transport it was reserved at a location close to where I needed it. The day before I was to pick it up U Haul changed the pickup location twice. I called and after several people got on the phone one was located that would work for me. Other than that the rental was fine.

Kevin DThe truck that we rented was adequate, however, any time a load was placed on the truck, such as going up hills (which was the majority of our trip) the blower motor for the a/c would stop blowing. When all of the trip after the first 2 hours was in temps in the mid-to-upper 90s, the lack of a/c was extremely difficult. This truck should not have been rented for any long distance rental. It was a waste of a lot of money to stay hot for 75 % of our trip.
Kenneth WI picked up on a Sunday, the people that were on location were not very well trained in rental, except one that finally showed up.

Bradley OI made a reservation for the truck on Tuesday and it took over a half an hour to get the paperwork done and they couldn't not get it the only paperwork I had with me was the truck inspection paperwork nothing else and then when I turned it in they billed me$236,69 and then you add $200. More on the bill and don't even let people know that you double charge for your equipment and now I will not trust your company anymore.
