HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Contacted location about a delayed drop off & was told by a manger that I was causing an 'INCONVENIENCE" to another customer. REALLY? I just drove 1300 miles and paid $1200 for crappy equipment. We will never use UHAUL again.

I did the electronic drop off through the Uhaul website. The 'take a picture' feature of the website wasn't compatible with my Android so I had to use my girlfriend's iPhone instead. That was the only issue though!

Note that I tried the self service mobile checkin for the first time. And although the app was easy and straight forward, I had some minor anxiety when I went to pick up the truck because the keys were not in the lock box. If it hadn't been for the random employee that was there early, my whole days schedule would been screwed.

The notice displayed in the store mentions self on-line checkin is required but it is unclear how to do that. When calling customer service they state that after hours checkin of trailers is not allowed. This conflict was concerning at the time even though it all worked out.

We were disappointed that the 10ft truck did not have a ramp. It made it difficult to load. Maybe it is written somewhere we did not see.

The rental process was a little disorganized, prices weren't posted or clearly outlined, and I wish the option of a ramp had been mentioned to us during the decision process, but overall, the price was good, the truck was in mint condition and the folks were friendly.

I was given a different location by Uhaul, after trying to find the wrong adress they gave me for several hours, I had to call and relocate my drop location, I spent 3 hours looking for an address that the website, uhual emailed me linked was wrong!!! I was not going to fill up on more gas for the 3 hours of driving and worng adress, I also cleaned the truck and folded the blankets, this location charged me extra for cleaning, I have never in 15 years and over 150 trucks from uhaul had such a horific experience. I have never lost my patience with uhual. I did that night. My wife and Autistic child were following me around for 3 hours looking for the adress that never showed up, Uhual needs to fix the link on the other adress and then when I am finished talking to 5 different people and they transfer me to others and managers etc... finally I get charged extra!!!! You guys need to give my money back fast!

To be more prepared with the rental. I rented a trailer and it took some time to chip away at the ice that surrounded the tongue to free it from the frozen ground. I helped out on my own willingly because I wanted to get going. The door definitely needs some attention. When it’s in its upright position it is very difficult to start the process to close. Otherwise, the trailer worked great and served our needs just right.

Due to snow I was unable to move the truck & trailer out of the Pak Mall parking spot. They helped shovel snow for about 5 minutes, but then claimed no responsibility to get their vehicle out of the parking spot they had put it in. I was there for nearly 2 hours.

When I came to pick up the car dolly I rented I noticed the wiring harness for the lights was smashed and disconnected. The staff was friendly and apologetic but I ended up having to drive the dolly to another location to get it fixed. While the harness was getting replaced I realized the platform for the tires was covered in ice and the ratchet traps were frozen solid. I had to chip away the ice myself and lubricate the ratchets myself. The whole process took about two hours of my own time just to get the dolly functioning properly. Again, the staff was pleasant to deal with but I ended up wasting a lot of my own time.

Piss poor customer service. I swear, U-haul has set the bar for the worst customer service. Takes days to respond, charges are simply made up. What can you do to improve? Fire everyone at this location, rebrand completely and perhaps there’s a 5% chance I’ll ever use U-Haul again. Congrats, you’ve invented a new type of stupid.

24/7 pickup had the wrong lock box code number on my order, so unable to open the right box. Online customer service very slow and no help in resolving this. In the end, I was able to guess the correct code to get my keys. Truck has an antifreeze smell in the cab when running. Suspect it has a coolant leak.

Every thing went well until my return. I finished with the truck earlier than expected and, since this occured during buisness hours, I returned the keys to the counter. Hours later, I received a very rude voicemail containing multiple threats, accusing me of not returning them. When I called to explain that I had, the man seemed to not believe me and was extremely rude, with no apology whatsoever. Absolutely horrible customer service, would never want to rent from here again.

The location is hard to find. Once I was at the location the man that was inside was rude and not personal or at all. I don’t think he is a great person to be representing U haul. I would think about using a different company in the future. The trailer I had called about and thought I was booking was not the trailer I left with. I was given a smaller trailer without being informed it was not the size I told him I needed. I was unable to fit all the items in the trailer and had to make additional trips. I would not have had to do this had I been given the trailer I had called about.

Location was supposed to be open from 7am-10am. I arrived a little after 9am and no one was there. The cab of the truck could use a good wipe down. And the drivers seat was stuck, I wasn’t able to move it forward. My husband met me later in day, he brought some tools and was able to fix it so my ride home was at least safe.

Sunday rental - the location was closed. I had issues as did U-Haul customer service with the e-mail / web application for picking up the rental. It would not identify my location. Fortunately my daughter's phone (android) worked and we were able to secure the rental after 45 min. of effort with customer service on the line for support. troublesome.

I was charged for a dolly that was missing. This was placed back into the truck without a doubt because I had trouble with the wing nut at it's base. I am assuming it was stolen from the truck overnight, no phone call regarding this just a credit card alert. That is unacceptable. I will find a "safer" loctaion to do business next time.
