The uhaul servers were down, so I couldn't do my mobile check-in. Luckily, a dedicated employee was on site early and took care of me. My frustration lies in a "after hours" charge. I was given two days to return my uhaul, and I returned it on the same day at 3 pm, on a Saturday, and yet was charged $20 for this. Explain how that makes any sense to me.

DARRELL COFIELDIt was to complicated to get my vehicle. There was no one at the location and while i was there the police came due to a silent alarm going off because of a door being open. We found that we had to talk customer service after a 3rd person came to pick up a vehicle and was on the phone with customer service. I had already been there 30min before finding this out. I was not happy with experience at all.

The vehicle i reserved nearly a month in advance was not available where i reserved it. The CS person did provide an alternative although it was in a different location and NOT the vehicle i requested. Then when I went to the new location i was unable to complete the rental. That required another call to CS and they were able to adjust my reservation again. The whole process took way longer than necessary. While i do appreciate the 50 dollar credit it was still not a positive interaction.

MARK SICHENEDERThe clerk was not on- site even though we arrived at 4:15 PM., 45 minutes before their end time. The premises's landscaping was subpar to be affiliated with Uhaul. The property looked deserted with lots of weeds, no trimming, overgrown bushes, and dirty windows. The truck's back window even had "wash me" written on it in the layer of dust.

Angelina TranHorrible experience!!!! The dolly wasn't in there that I paid for, the truck was nasty. ( someone's hairbrush full of hair was in the side door along with food in the back of the truck) took an hour to get the keys out of 24/7, the tire pressure light came on 3 mins out of the parking lot so I stopped to put air in the tires, the engine light was on and I was just really upset about my experience. I spent a lot of $ for everything to go wrong
Michelle Houk1. The facility appeared abandoned, weeds and grass all overgrown, I believe I requested in person check in and the facility was closed with not attendant. 2. With no one there, I had to learn to register on line which created a lot of issues, however the help when calling Uhaul was excellent, they walked me through how to do it. 3. The equipment had tire, engine and another warning light on the instrumentation. 4. Vehicle was clean and seemed to run properly, temp and oil gauges were at normal levels. 5. I was charged an after hours fee which I have to call about, 1 more thing I didnt expect. The vehicle was returned with in my time window so I dont know what that charge is for. I have rented a lot from UHaul in the last few years this is a new charge to me.

(the day I was supposed to pickup my vehicle stated it was open till 5 pm but I arrived at approx 3,45 pm and it was already closed. 2) My rented vehicle (cargo van) that I picked up had only 1/16 fuel in the gas tank...1/16...1/16.....1/16 of fuel in the tank....then how am I supposed to return the vehicle the way I received the rental with 1/16 of fuel in the tank. I ended up putting 3/4 tank and after the 3 days I still had and returned the rental with 1/2 tank worth approx $28 remaining in tank. Store manger originally only offered $4,5 total. This is OUTRAGEOUS!!!! I am OUTRAGED FIRST THAT I RECEIVED THE VEHICLE WITH ONLY 1/16, AND THEN THE STORE MANAGER REFUSED TO REFUND ME FOR THE FUEL worth approx $28, I HAD REMAINING IN MY RENTAL, UPON MY RETURN!!!! UHUAL....NEEDS TO HAVE A CLEAR POLICY TO HAVE ALL RENTAL VEHICLE FUELED TO AT LEAST 1/2 FUEL IN TANK!!!!!

On my way home the cab leaked and soaked both myself and luggage I had in the passenger seat. Lastly, the location is attempting to charge a after hours fee of $20 with no explanation. I returned the car a day early with slightly more gas and even vacuumed out much of the mess that was there to start with. I will not be using this location and likely use Penske next time
Jason WelchBrakes were extremely weak/ "mushy" on the vehicle. You had to apply them WELL before you needed to stop. Check engine light was on the entire time. "Service Tire Monitoring" system flashed on and off randomly during the trip. Engine overheated and A/C shut down during trip home. Had to drive with heat to stop engine from overheating.

So then I contacted the 800# for UHAUL and someone found me a truck at the location above. It was a self serve location. I had to call the 800# 3 more times because I needed the truck for a few days and it kept texting me I had to return the vehicle. Again, it was the worst experience.

I drove the vehicle 3 miles from the rental office when a warning appeared on the center console stating the engine was overheating. I called the office multiple times, left detailed messages and did not receive a call back. I called the U-Haul 800 number to request Roadside Assistance which is a completely different horrible experience. 1) The office looks like an abandoned building, clean it up 2) Ensure the trucks are safe to drive (including topping off the engine coolant) 3) Have someone answer the phone during business hours, otherwise, do not rent vehicles on Sundays

Jack BaumgardnerWhen i picked up the truck it had 1/8 of a tank of gas and i had to go directly to the gas station, i have rented a number of u hails in my life and this is the first time i have ever gotten a truck that was not full ( a very obvious scam to get free gas in their truck ) also the hood wouldnt shut all the way and i was afraid that it would pop open at anytime while on the freeway, the handle on the rear cargo door was missing so when the door opened all the way you would have to stick your fingers between the cargo door and the body of the truck and hope your fingers dont get pinched . I would never rent from this location again .

christopher padillaFirst, the pakmetro location is a dump. Foot tall grass and weeds and the door was locked when I arrived. When I picked up the U-Haul it was dirty and there was a hat and a bunch of water bottles in the cab likely from the prior renter. I didn't clean any of it up and returned it with the items still there, which sure I could have, but not my responsibility. I still got hit with a $25 cleaning fee, which I am disputing. I also had a $20 "after hours" fee. This was never discussed. Why offer touchless/after hours drop off if you're going to charge for it? I'm disputing this fee as well. Overall awful experience, but it can be made right by crediting back the $45 you stole from me.

Will never rent from this location again After idenitfying the abandoned building with overgrown weeds and no one in sight is the actualy place I need to go to, I have the following experience. BTW- this rental location looks like it could be the scene of the next Friday the 13th movie... 1) The app failed me miserably where I needed to call customer service mutiple times to simply get the keys. App wouldn't index to the correct screen, pictures of my license wouldn't go thru. It took me 45 min to simply get the keys... 2) I get the keys to open the truck to see it was no less than 20 years old.., hand crank windows, dirty inside (pics loaded) and just a disgusting piece of equipment. Oh, by the way, thank you so much for the 1/4 tank of gas... 3) I opened the back storage to verify my 3 trollies I ordered were provided. NOPE, only 1. Big problem considering I had three people helping me with my move that day... I called customer service...again... Don't worry Mr. Cummings, you just need to drive this POS to another U-Haul station...in the rain...during rush hour...to get your trollies. I drive to said location, because I have no other option, to find out customer service never called them and they have no trollies. Don't worry Mr. Cummings, there is a large U-Haul station another 15 min away that you can go to... 4) Finally, I get the trollies, and truck back to my house 2 hours later than planned. I pack the truck for my move and begin my drive to my new house. Driving up the expressway, A/C goes out. That's great considering I'm already HOT due to the fantastic experience I've had with U-Haul. Intermittent A/C is just what the doctor ordered to get my blood pressure below 150 Other than the above, my rental experience with U-Haul was just lovely. Thank you for the opportunity to comment

Robert Hoagcharge 20 service fee, with truck turned in early, extra in gas, went through ap. Claiming I did .,..pictures were taking and send with milage , interior of cab, and interior of bed. Pouring rain, truck return before 4:00 main issue is there is no one servicing or there with front door locked ...most renters don't' do this daily ... was told they were in back ...Business' s don't lock the door if they wish to service their customers during regular business hours. I will be going through another provider simply to have actual assistance.

Gas tank showed full but it took 4 gallons to fill up and I only traveled a total of 20 miles. After filling up, the gas gauge needle went well beyond the original amount. Returning vehicle by using an android app took a little less time than check in.

EVERETT MORRIS SAMUELSI have some issue with checkout in application, staff that I tried to call for a help was rude. I have to clean up vehicle for half an hour from snow. When I tried to leave location I have stuck in snow, because road wasn't clean enough.
