Customer service guy was very sparky and rude

daniel kPlaced a reservation for a truck and trailer. Location picked was reported to have both items. When confirming reservation I was informed I would need to get the truck from the Park st location and the trailer from an additional location on the west side of town. When asked why I would need to make two stops I was informed that Uhaul doesn't move equipment. Upon picking up the trailer I observed several trucks in the size I had needed, meaning I would have been able to make only one stop vs two. In addition to the bed of the truck being found filled with leaves and debris, I was also left with a tank of gas under half. Not only was the two stops, in the opposite direction of my travels but the additional stop for fuel added a significant amount of delay to my day.

Belinda SNo markings to show where the office is. I had to duck under a partially open overhead door to get inside. Then they didn't want to take my extra cartons back. "Why did you get so many?" he asked. Pretty funny considering your ad which encourages people to get more cartons than they might need. He tried to get me to take the cartons to another uhaul loacation. I told him I didn't have time, and he finally relented and paid me for the extra cartons.

THOMAS MIt was very unclear where to pick up, where to return, and when to return. When asked I was given differing answers based on where I called. I was then charged forty dollars for a late fee instead of 30. I also was not given my free thirty miles like we were told. Overall communication from U-Haul to me as well as consistency between who I talk to lacked and should have been better.

JAMES SCustomer service definitely lacking!! Customer ahead of me received the same treatment as I did. I was treated dismissively, and when asking a question as well as when having trouble opening the side door on the van(which he tried twice before it opened)made me feel as if I was annoying him. Isn't this his job? This employee needs some serious re-training or moved to a different position where he has no customer interactions!!

PAUL CUniversity leases run 8/15-8/15. Weekend staffing in Madison should be adjusted from 8/7-8/17 annually as a result.
DAVID BHave a fault code reader at the facility. I was issued a truck with a check engine light on. Rep on site said call for a service to get the code read.
JOSEPH PFantastic service and vehicle. Super helpful staff and very flexible in meeting my needs. Highly recommend and will be using again.

ANN SPick up was very easy. All of the requested blankets were in the truck. The truck was super clean. One of the nicer Uhaul dealers I have dealt with.
JAMIE TThis was my drop off after a one-way move. I parked the truck and threw them the keys inside their lobby. They took it from there. My billing was accurate. Easy peasy after a long holiday weekend of moving.

SHEILA WU-Haul messed up my reservations and I received a call from this location. They did not greet me, did not identify themselves, and simply told me I was late to return my truck in a very rude manner. I assumed this was for U-Haul and told him I specifically asked for the U-Haul for a few days. They did not try to understand the situation or try to resolve the issue and continued to tell me I'm late. I again explained the situation that my reservations were completed wrong initially and this may be the issue again. They did not acknowledge me or say anything and just hung up on me. Absolutely unprofessional.
Chevana VThe guy working offered no greeting, I wasn't sure if I was even in the right door because it's a multi unit facility. He mumbled and have huffs of attitude, like I was not only inconveniencing him, I should know the process of pickup, without him telling me or guilding me. If he is an employee, he should be fired. If he's the owner of the facility, holding a Uhaul dealer's franchise, it should be revoked. A Corporate uhaul store would never operate this way.

Ann SI made a reservation for 8:30 am at other location but was told they didn't have the size truck we wanted. So, I was transferred to Park Street. Unfortunately, that location doesn't open until 9 am. No one informed me of this.

Daniel KThe equipment hadn't been serviced sufficiently. It was a tow dolly. - The straps were frayed and difficult to feed through rachets - The rachets was very corroded and hard to turn. I bought WD40 and let it soak during the drive. Unloading was much less of a struggle. - Ramp pins were also sticky - One of the safety chains was missing the hook. Forcing me to have hook them to each other.
