I specifically requested a drive up storage unit. I called beforehand just to make sure it was available. I was assured there was a unit available so I reserved it. Few days later my husband and I came to sign a contract. We wanted to start moving our things that day but the front desk girl told us there is no lock for the unit so we had to wait till the following day. The following day I came to pick up the lock. I decided to drive around the property to locate my storage unit just to find out it was not a drive up unit but and indoor one which would not work for me at all. Upon arriving back at the office I found the front desk girl sitting there with her legs on the desk, absolutely unamused and what seemed like to me, I interrupted her show watching. I asked her to cancel my contract since she didn't deliver what I specifically asked her for, which she responded to by asking me if I want to "move out". I told her no, I wanted her to cancel my contract since I didn't get to "move" any of my belongings into the unit. She failed to explain how to move into a unit like she assigned to us as well. I tried to open the door to the unit and it absolutely didn't work. She gave us our keys and sent us our way without clarifying anything to us. They're thieves. They over charged me for gas even though I returned it at the same level. The place was dirty and in disrepair. It looks like homeless people are living in their attached storage units. Yuck.Zack B.
My moving rental was not ready and did not have much gas ? Also my bank account were so overcharged with 3 diferents large amounts? When I called to let this know customer service said I will get that money back in a little of 3 days , but that's not happening yet ? I'll wait till this weekend otherwise I'll have to dispute those charges, also receptionist at this location haws very sweet and helpful. Only issue is about those charges to be honest I won't be able to recommend you guys if you gonna have hidden charges like this pretty scary situation.Sara P.
They tried to charge me over 60 $when online is says a small Uhaul is 18 $. I had to fight to get the correct price and finally after a half hour I was given the day rate of 18 $.Marley S.

The 20 $a day advertising seems dishonest as I only had the truck for 24 hours, and only went about 30 miles and it cost me 90 $plus I had to pay the 10 $in gas before dropping it off. It seems like going from 20 $to 100 $for three trips across town is a bit of a stretch. I didn't even pay for any of the insurance plans.Bryce G.

The local manager helped me every step of the way despite the drop off location being switched on accident by the U-Haul application. She helped me return boxes and I was on my way quickly! Best experience I've ever had with U haulMatthew S.
This was the easiest and most pain-free rental I have ever had. This was in spite of my reservation being a little messed up, with another customer's name in one of the fields. This caused me to NOT. Accept the confirmation call an hour or so later. But, when I came to pick my truck up, the alert clerk got me into a truck on the lot in a few minutes... and comp'd me the same rate for a bigger truck. An amazing process, thanks to a smart and resourceful agent.Jim J.
If there is a cancellation LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW. My previous pickup location just up the road 243 s Geneva rd in Orem cancelled my reservation because of lack of equipment which is fine I get that, but I received no notification until I was already there. I called U-Haul and Amanda answers the phone her quick responsiveness and securing another reservation so close is the only reason I still used U-Haul.JOhn I.
The online reservation process was confusing and ended up telling me to go to one location online and then when I got to that location I found out that I was to pick up the vehicle at an entirely different location. I was not notified of this by email, text or phone. Also, I was not told beforehand that I would have to do an after hours return. So, there were issues that could be improved.Matt S.

It was not the location that was a problem it is that I had to re-arrange all of my travel plans because the trailer I rented was not available on the day and time I reserved online. Then I had to change the pick up location of the rental as well. It created a lot of undue stress to have to find a way to rearrange everything and make it work.Kameron B.

Because of a mistake on the employees part our reservation time was shifted 2 hours earlier than we wanted it to be. To compensate for this we changed our moving plans to try and get done earlier and not have to pay for a second day of rental. We were able to do so and I literally returned the truck and keys before 10:30 am (they were due at 1pm). The really disappointing part of the story starts here when the location I dropped the truck off at just sat around doing who knows what for 5 hours until 3:00pm when they marked the truck as returned and charged us an extra 50 $for a second day of rental that we didn't ask for, want, or even use. Very poor experience, I will not recommend either location to anyone I know.Adam J.

We had a 24/7 truck pick up and the key wasnt in the box and the only reason we could get the truck is cause we caught someone leaving and they had to search for this because you didn't even contact them. We left 30 minutes after we were supposed to.Klayton E.
