Between the rental location and the person at the Head Office, they were more than accommodating, ensuring that all went smoothly before, and the day of, and finally, when finalizing this particular transaction. The person I talked to on the phone from the head office was very professional, but also very pleasant. I was very satisfied with this experience and would use U-Haul and the Grey Rd. 1, Owen Sound location again.

RAYMOND L.When doing online quotes for people to estimate the cost of renting a truck you shouldn't demand that the customer show up to pick up exactly at the time requested because weather should be allowed to be a factor and if you don't employ people on a Saturday then you shouldn't have that option listed for pickups. Also when looking for a location for drop off online the list should be update as I went to drop of in hanover and the dealer doesn't even exist anymore which ended in me having to put more miles on the truck then necessary which ran my bill higher then it needed to be by about 40 to 60 dollars. I see this as a scam and not my fault. Pretty upset about that.
KEN L.Truck was given to me with less than 1/4 tank. When I dropped off the vehicle with the same amount, I was charged 55 dollars for gas and a filling fee. I'll be looking at local options next time.
DOMINIC N.Arrived at location. No one present at the facility. A sign on the front desk with a phone number to call for assistance. I call the number. A man answers the phone. I tell him I am there to pick up a truck. He says that he isn't in charge of the Uhaul location and he will call the person in charge. The man calls me back and says he is about 20 minutes away. About 20 minutes the male arrives. He asks me for my Drivers License & Credit Card. Takes picture of them. He doesn't know how to check me in. Hands me key to a truck. End. WHAT THE HELL!!! Now he has a picture of my license and Credit Card without checking me in or giving me a contract. I don't know even know if he actually worked there!!!

Craig S.I booked a 5X8 cargo trailer for two days. Picked up and did my thing. Returned a day early at noon and nobody in the office, but a courtesy number to call. Left a voice mail with contact info, which was ok. Had to unhook the trailer myself which could have been a problem for some, but uneventful. There was no charge for the second day even with getting the trailer back half way through the day.
Rob K.I showed up at the appointed time and nobody was at the store. I called the number indicated on the door of the store and nobody answered. Called UHaul 1-888 number and 45 minutes later finally got someone to show up to rent us the trailer. Service person had no idea how to connect to the trailer to our vehicle. Then the service person wanted to take photos front and back of my credit card and drivers license with their personal phone! Oh and their personal phone was in the middle on an update! To top it off I had to take a picture of the hookup and licence plate with my phone and text it to the attendant so we could get going. To say this was terrible customer service would be a gross understatement! From past experience I know U Haul can do better than this. ☹ï¸
