Truck was not in location we booked . Yet three sat on lot where we did book from for the 42 hours we were in KFALLS. Picked up out of town with only 80 miles of gass in it. Returning guy said it was to be returned in Tx, not what was accurate. Tried to get money for gas, when it had 100 more miles than when we picked it up. In using you in past, similar experience....no truck available in size we rented, etc.

Everything went smoothly even after realizing the fuel tank had a hole in it I got a replacement and was back on the road in 5 minutes

Dawn SI had to drive to Perrins, 52 miles round trip from my home. I was offered an extra day on the rental to go there and pick it up. I could have used 50 bucks off the cost. But I took the day because weather was moving in and I may have had to postpone my trip a day. I did not. Trailer was in good shape except for the tires were ready to be replaced.

Soleil MI was supposed to pick up at a location in Klamath Falls & given confirmation. I ended up having to pick up a day earlier at this location. Now I'm paying for an extra day of insurance as well as driving to another location to purchase a lock. Dragging around a trailer on Halloween Night made it impossible to get in or out of places I planned to go while in the area. Fortunately my hotel reservation was at a place that was able to accommodate the parking situation. I was given a drop off location at the time of pick up. This changed as well & even the changed location would not accept the return.

SUSAN WSo let me get this straight I go from Bend Oregon to Chiloquin just to get my truck can you try and make me take it 40 miles the opposite direction to drop it off once I'm on the coast and then have the audacity to try and charge me a wrong destination drop off is the 15 000 locations not for my convenience?

Wendell DThis is not primarily a Uhaul business and does not look like one so, it is difficult to rate 'clean and inviting' here. It is a second-hand variety store. As such, it is cluttered and not 'white glove clean. It is very inviting (I spent 2 hours there AFTER my return was done!) and the owners make you feel right at home in their shop. On the flip side, Uhaul only locations are clean but not particularly inviting. Commercial/institutional with brown and orange geometrics just isn't inviting. The staff are efficient but, otherwise unremarkable. Perhaps a more inclusive question for both types of facilities would be 'clean and well lit inside and out?' It would also imply safety is a priority for Uhaul. It also sounds more business-like and gender-friendly (I have serious doubt a male would describe any space as being 'inviting'). Manfred JTo start off, I requested an auto transport and was told that would be no problem but, the day before I was supposed to pick up the truck, I get a call and was informed they would only be allowing me to have a car dolly because Klamath Falls does not allow auto transport trailers to go over the road. They didn't even give me 24 hours notice! Then the charging ports in the U-Haul truck, to charge your phone, didn't work so we had to improvise and fix them ourselves. Then the running lights, the lights that let you know that a trailer is on the road in front of you if you're driving on the highway at night, went completely out! It was storming and hard to see vehicles whose lights worked much less a vehicle whose light were out and it caused an accident. This poor man went off into a ditch to avoid hitting my truck that was on the trailer with no lights. I had to pay for another stay in hotels for that night BECAUSE the lights didn't work!! How did U-Haul compensate me for that? They charged me more money when I turned my truck in because I was 98 miles over what they alloted. When I called U-Haul corporate office to dispute the 98 miles, I sat on hold for an hour only to be hung up on before I could even say a word!! Will NEVER use U-Haul again, what a joke!!!

Staff that I talked to who let me know that I would have to pick it up in a different location than the one I reserved were rude and unhelpful, they could be reached at 541-744-4480. Next time I will use Budget or Penske, do not recommend this service to anyone

Kimberly WThis is not a complaint about the location, but about the u-haul website. It's user friendly and helpful, but if the trailer or truck is not available at your desired pick-up location, the whole process just errors out instead of redirecting to other nearby locations.

Helen SOn the tow dolly I rented the tire straps on the right side of the dolly would not "cradle"the tire properly and did not notice it till I was at the location to tow my car the strap only held the tire down the center and I think that was not real safe. It should be looked at before future renting out.
