I am contesting my bill and haven't heard back from U Haul. I was given the truck with 1/8 of a tank of gas. I took a picture. I only drove 25 miles and put almost three gallons of gas in the truck and my final bill had a two gallman fuel surcharge. I sent pics of the gauge and the odometer. I was also charged for safe rental coverage which I did not chose when I reserved online. If I am not reimbursed for both things I will have to take other actions but I'm hopeful UHaul makes this right

Joseph GYOU CAN REIMBURSE ME FOR THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE: AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE. NO ONE HAS ANY ANSWER FOR STANDARD QUESTTIONS-NOT SURE WHY THEY ARE ANSWERING PHONES. EXTREMELY USELESS. PICK UP LOCATION WAS OUT OF OUR WAY, NOT CONVENIENT AT ALL MADE THE MOVE HARDER THEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AND ADDED STRESS TO THE DAY. FELT UNSAFE IN AN AREA NOT FAMILIAR-STANDED FOR 50 MINUTES BECAUSE NO ONE WAS ABLE TO HELP OR FIX THE SITUATION THE UHAUL CAUSED THEY IGNORED THE FACT THAT I FELT UNSAFE-NO ONE TOOK THE INITIATIVE TO HANDLE THE SITUATION IN A TIMELY MATTER-NEVER AGAIN. GAS WAS ON EMPTY-LEFT 1/2 A TANK AND YOU HAD THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME $3 PLUS FOR EXTRA 2 MILES TALK ABOUT NICKEL AND DIMING SOMEONE WILL PAY THE EXTRA COST FOR ACTUAL MOVING COMPANY

Deborah NUhaul has to do a better job scheduling and communicating reservations. While I appreciate that I was able to get the trailer I wanted when I wanted it, I did not appreciate being bounced from one location to another while my reservation still showed the original scheduling location all the way through the drop off process. In the end it all worked out fine but was a little frustrating/confusing while in the middle of the process.

William HNot all U-Haul locations are convenient or clean to perfection, but the staff were pleasant and I felt very comfortable. Honestly, most importantly, it's a truck rental that gives people the opportunity to change their lives in a personal way, no matter what each site is like. People live in all kinds of places, this is a truck. The U-Haul staff, any where, is highly qualified and pleasant.

BACHIR BI went to pick my car up at 7:00pm saturday night went onto the site to remotely pickup my car. The website made me do a lot of step, photos, made me put in phone numbers and kept saying they were not usable. I had them call my sister, my Mom, my boyfriend and my friend none of these people were expecting a call from an unknown caller and didn't pick up. I was left spending an hour in a dark parking lot getting bite up by bugs for an hour all while on hold with the uhaul 800 number and in the uhaul chat that felt like a I was talking to a robot. Begging to have them hurry up, feeling vulnerable in a dark parking lot with a website that didn't work right. finally someone called me to override and let get my car. It was upsetting experience. Very poor program for remote pick up.

Christoph JUnfortunately... you need to pull your franchise from this location. The owner is very condescending, arrogant, and racist. He made a few derogatory comments and was very rude and difficult to deal with. Making my rental experience, a terrible one. I will be sending corporate a detailed letter.
Carlos PI elected to rent the truck using my mobile device. Despite having service and then later connecting to the shop's wifi service, it took me an hour to get the keys and then get on my way. There appeared to be heavy traffic on the server or some other issue that made the experience frustrating and not one I would like to repeat. Don't give the option if the back end support can't handle it.
Tabitha CMike salese in middle town was the nicest person to ever grace this earth, and even though we had many difficulties with spotswood, he was very kind and helpful. Spotswood was below what I'd call acceptable. The person there was rude and didn't seem to care that much.

Robert WI was not too happy that I was charged a fourth day. The location closes at 2:00 on Saturday I used the drop box for the key since they were closed and the return was marked as 5:30 which despite not being accurate was 45 minutes and I was charged a full day
Joseph RThere was no issue with the location or the employees, the trailer was just not well maintained. Several of the "tie down" points inside the trailer were made of wood and held in with thin nails that pulled out easily during transport. Fortunately we checked on our items during the move and resecured everything to tie downs on the floor which were metal. Some of those were loose and not very secure but it was better than the wood strips which just came right off the wall. Trailer needs to be revamped.

John CThe problem was not only with the location. The overall customer service experience was very poor. Reservation was recorded inaccurately. Trailer was not available when needed. Multiple calls required. Long wait times on hold. Multiple people required to solve problems. It is always like dealing with a mom & pop operation than a multi million dollar corporation. NO STARS FOR ANYONE INVOLVED.

Wesley OI was told I would have 1 extra day of rental, which was supposedly Wednesday the 20th, yet I was charged for the extra day for $40. While this is upsetting, I still would recommend uhaul, however I would tell anyone to double check if any extra days or miles slotted are complimentary.
James SI rushed to get my trailer back so I wouldn’t be charged for two days I forgot got to sweep out a little sand and a board was in the trailer that had been there when I picked it up and I forgot a bungee cord Perry’s automotive contacts me and says that if I come down and sweep it out if not you will be charged 25 dollars I couldn’t make in there time because the trailer was being rented out Not pleased with there service being that the trailer was not damaged it just needed to be swept I’m planning to go elsewhere for my next trailer rental being that I use U-Haul frequently
