I had to insist representative come outside to inspect truck so we both could agree everything was good. This should be a must to protect both parties.

Tracy MitchellDrop off location was not open upon arrival Gate was closed and I had no code to get in. U-Haul should warn customers when they select this location for drop-off that it might be closed if they attempt to drop off after hours since the key drop is inside a closed fenced in area.

STEVEN GAHLBECKThis location should not be eligible for Sunday truck rentals. They are closed on Sundays and you need a gate code to get access to the truck and equipment. It took us over three hours waiting and negotiating with strangers who had storage units in the complex to allow us to get into the gate to access the truck and then to get back in the gate to drop off the truck. We were nearly 2 hours late in picking up the truck because we were stranded outside the gate. I was on hold with U-Haul for 45 minutes and never was able to speak with an associate. I was able to reach an associate by chat who suggested that I choose an alternate pick up location. This would have been fine, however, I also needed access to the handtruck and I was told that would not be available at the alternate location. I work in customer service for a luxury furniture and design company and I field a tremendous amount of frivolous complaints. Because of this, I never complain to a company but this was genuinely the worst moving experience I have ever had.

EBO ENTSUAHCustomer service. This place was a joke. The office smelled of marijuana. The lady couldn't find our reservation at first. Once we returned it I asked for a copy of the receipt she stated she didn't have one for me she couldn't do it until later when they closed and sanitized and cleaned the equipment and checked the mileage. I informed we didn't were significantly less on the mileage estimate and even gave her the new mileage. I informed her I wanted to know how much my card was going to be charged before I left and no where when I reserved it did it say I was paying for her to clean it since it was cleaned upon returned. Also the price per mile online was different

JOHN DOUGLASI booked one day and said I would have it 14 hours. It showed a charge for one day. No where did it say I would be charged for two days. This is unacceptable. I want my second day charge back.

Erica McClinseyFirst off, I was given a uhaul with no brake lights. Second, I noticed something called Safemove on my bill. Upon research with the paperwork provided by the clerk that checked me out, I learned that this was OPTIONAL coverage that protected the cargo only. Had any of this been explained to me in the beginning, I would have politely declined this coverage. When I brought this up to the clerk when I returned the truck (not the same clerk that had checked me out first) she tried to explain to me that it was mandatory despite me showing her the paperwork provided that stated OPTIONAL. She contacted the manager (whom I believe to be the clerk that checked me out originally) who lived on site. The manager said she would come speak to me, but I waited 20 minutes and she did not show up. I left my name and phone number, yet she never called. I feel I should be refunded the $28 that was charged to me for this Safemove coverage that I did not want, did not request, and was note provided the opportunity to decline.
