The problem was the vehicle I rented, a Chevy Silverado that was filthy to say the least, with sodas and God knows what sticky else everywhere inside the cabin and a big bag full of trash behind the passenger seat from a previous rental (that I disposed of myself). Also, the vehicle needed immediate maintenance (fluids to be filled or replaced as per dashboard alert) . A total mess overall. Such a pity, for a very decent, quiet and potentially efficient location like this.

The outside presentation of this location is always clean no trash. The inside of the location is always cleaned smelling wonderful. I will strongly recommend this location to anyone that decides to rent from U-Haul. This location is the best I will even put a job application into work at this location. I don't think there's anything that this location can improve on for my visit.

Super kind, friendly, and explained everything up front so no guess work. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent a u-haul (which was clean and maintained for what it's used for) or store belongings. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Mike, the manager, did not return my call regarding a billing discrepancy until the 2nd voice mail and multiple calls to the office. I was told I would need to contact customer service regarding a $20 fee for returning this U-haul when no one was in the office. This was NOT explained to me prior to the completion of my payment for the U-haul even though they were fully aware of when I would be returning the U-haul on Sunday, September 4th at 445pm. Mike Apologize for it not being explained prior to me just seeing the charge on my receipt and that I needed to talk to customer service. He became very short, combative and hung up on me after me asking to speak with his boss. He gave me the name J. Patel but that he did not have his phone number. I then asked for J. Patel boss number since he did not have his business number he then stated, "you will need to call go U-haul. Have a nice day." Then disconnected the call. I was never made aware of this $20 charge or how to avoid prior to leaving this location at point of pick-up, Mike did not have a number to give for his boss or bosses boss and then hung up on me. This is in no way how customer service should go. I would never go back to this location. I am not satisfied and extremely unhappy with this experience with U-haul and their representative Mike, the manager, at the the Edgewater location in Lackhart/Orlando.

The truck was great, but the online only pick up was frustrating to use and it ended up being much easier with Nina and Mike to help. Luis AlvaradoThis location does not record accurate gas meters. The staff even acknowledged that the gas meter recorded in the system was incorrect and told me that I didn't have to worry about it because he was going to rectify it in the system. He said I was good to go and didn't require anything from me. When I returned the truck, the dealer charged me a fueling fee even after I filled up the truck with gas beyond what I used. No staff ever rectified the incorrect gas meter in the system. The female staff (different staff) that I returned the truck to was a little bit rude and was barely helpful and told me he couldn't do anything about it. She said that a manager will reach out to me over the phone that day but I did not receive any calls. I had to proactively call uHaul's customer service to get me in touch with someone. I am still waiting to get in a call with a manager to help me resolve this issue. I want my refund back. I have evidence of the gas meter; I took a picture of the gas meter on my iPhone (date and time recorded) before I used the truck.
WARREN GARRIDOI was extremely shocked and quite upset being blindsided by the fact that you need to actually purchase the trailer ball instead of simply renting it. $50 for a piece of equipment that I don't need. why are you charging people $50 for a piece of equipment that they will never use that's why they are renting in the first place think of the logic behind that. The nice woman told me the reason is because people steal them well I'm sorry why do I have to pay for a piece of equipment that I'm trying to rent? That should automatically be a rented piece of equipment not forced to purchase. I don't understand the excuse she gave me because how could people steal it if that would be a part of the equipment you had to return? I'm just extremely upset that I had to buy a trailer ball hook up and now just have it sit in the damn garage. A complete waste of money that I could used for something more important I consider it blackmail or a different word I don't know what to choose but you are forcing people to purchase a trailer ball hook up when they are trying to rent the equipment in the first place that's why you are the store that you are. Yeah you can rent our truck but you have to purchase the ball and hook up unreal. Other than that the truck was clean the service was nice I'm just extremely upset about being forced to purchase the trailer ball hook up extremely upset.
