LOIS SZUROVECZCustomer service very poor. Woman distracted and talking w co workers constantly. Very slow and no comparoson to inside a Uhaul facility. Poor lack of training. Did not check mileage or condition of van upon return. Will never go to this location again!
Constance BonacciNot about this location, but about pickup, drop off, and uhaul in general. Again, there was no way to check out my truck on mobile even though it was reserved mobile well in advance, confirmed, and a different location than last time mobile didn't work. Can you please fix this or remove the option? People plan around being able to use mobile and don't have time to wait in line or wait for locations to open. The location employees then also have to do double the work they weren't expecting. I did have the p iron to turn in on mobile, so I did that, but then it said I owed 62 dollars of gas even though I submitted a photo of the gas gauge at full and the app said it had been full. I called customer service and she even said yes I see you returned it full and shouldn't owe anything. So now I have to waste more time I don't have chasing down a refund for no reason, and customer service can't do that? I was also charged insurance on both the truck and the trailer I moved for Distribution without my knowledge or consent! It was not ordered on mobile, so the humans checking me out are ignoring my mobile order and adding insurance since i was forced to go inside since mobile isn't working. I have atl just one major issue every time I use Uhaul.

steven richardsonIt was not clear that uhaul was inside piggly wiggly. Once we went inside, it was not clear where to go. The lady was not friendly or professional at all.

joyce StanleyThe smell of the truck was unbearable. Someone smoked in it. I had to drive with wi ndows down. I was really disappointed with that and that there was no disinfecting to get rid of the odor.
Erika M grayWow, I don't think this drop off could have been easier, more clear, or more positive. As we were pulling up, the man working the truck lot (this was a Piggly Wiggly store, not a Uhaul) came right up to help guide us and take care of us. The lot was organized very neatly and no trucks were blocking any others, and all like-trucks were together. He immediately started checking us in instead of me doing it on mobile. He saw me taking photos and said feel free to do so, but he is already done checking us in (I actually was getting the plates to pay tolls later). He was super kind and friendly the whole time. The best part was, we left and after a little while, he tried calling us on all different umbers until we answered. We'd left a wallet in the truck! He said he wanted to catch us before we got too far. He kept it on him safe until we got there so we didn't have to go in or anything. I believe his name was Jordan A. (that's what's on our receipt).

MICHAEL MASOPUSTThe first truck wouldn’t start ( battery was dead) then I was sent to another location and that truck started overheating and no one was willing to compensate for the headache and stress it caused
Xandrea Starks-LyonsThe location and people working there are great. The app is where everything fell apart. Even though I had already submitted my information and images of my drivers license from text message requests the day before, I was forced to re-enter all of my information a second time into the app. This wasted app time caused my six hour rental to become a five and a half hour rental because my six hour rental start time started from the reservation time, not after all the time I wasted on the app trying to pick up my vehicle and actually driving off of the lot. If the service desk is busy, they are not able to help you. It was worse trying to return the vehicle. The app knew my location by offering my exact location to make a new rental, but was not able to locate me to return my current rental. After wasting fifteen minutes trying to get the app to actually locate me, I went inside with five minutes left on my 5,5 hour rental to get help. Luckily, the customer service rep in the store was able to come outside and make my return.

Nathan PradoThe ability to get the truck from the 24/7 truck pickup option was very difficult to get through. I was having horrible issues confirming my location and it made me late to picking up the truck. Not using UHaul for any of my future moves

STEVEN JONESPiggly Wiggly location is the greatest a lot better than using Waukegan. It's the best service I've had from there. Made the transition so easy for getting a truck and returning it. U-Haul it's always been my favorite and has come through and if there's ever been a problem at Piggly Wiggly they take care of it.
Melissa ReillyI reserved a truck at a location 3 miles from my house two weeks prior to needing it. When it came time to pick it up I was sent to another location over 20 miles away. Not an issue with the pick up location but with UHAUL itself.

Lakesha WilliamsCustomers should be made aware at the time of pick up or drop off (when they pick up or drop off in person) that they have the option to do a "return equipment" verification in online or be charged $20 dollars for uhaul to do it. When people move they won't remember a text message. As a result can be charged more than they expected. As I was, I received a text message 1hour after picking up the truck to be notified about an equipment verification of dropping off after hours.

Gloria hlousekI felt like I was constantly being upsold. He tried to give me a 26ft truck for a one bedroom apartment, even after I said I don't have too much to move. I ended up calling back at a different to change the truck size (that lady was incredibly helpful) but with him I felt had to be on my guard the entire time. I initially thought he overcharged me- though I looked it up later and he did not. But I did not feel like I could trust him.
