Trucks were parked too close together in tall grass/weeds. Had to squeeze in passenger side of truck and slide across cab to move truck out to do inspection. Attempted to contact the facility 2 times during working hours on normal line with no answer and no call back then 3 times during truck pick up on after hours line with no answer or call back. Equipment was covered in cosmetic damage including some that did not have the documented (+) previous damage stickers. Cab was littered with peanut shells. Box had gravel stuck behind a number of the tie down slats. Wiper blades were shot. Tried to use as they were however ended up purchasing wiper blades during our move to be be safe.Joshua H.

The location was about 35 miles from where I requested to obtain the vehicle. I was on a tight timeline since I had movers coming to load the truck, so the additional driving was quite an inconvenience. I requested 4 dozen furniture blankets. They only had 30, so I had to go another location to get more when we ran out. The truck had pieces of snack wrapper and crumbs on the seat and floor. Previous customer paperwork was still in the console and under the seat. The fuel was below half a tank, which was also inconvenient in a rural area.DONALD H.

Better communication and notes between uhaul locations. We rented a 26' truck. A car dolly and small trailer. The 26' truck was dirty as hell. That should be on the notes so that when I return the unit, I don't get charged. I cleaned the truck anyway. The uhaul pick up was only open Monday though Friday. I hired 4 people to help load the truck though uhaul app. They were only available on Sunday the 13th as they were already booked on the 11th and 12th. No one else wanted to make the drive. Overgaard is in the white mountains of Arizona. The Phoenix area, where the 4 guys drove from is three and a half hour drive. Because the location in Overgaard was closed on weekends, we had to rent the truck on Friday the 11th. I had a doctor's appointment on the 15th so we couldn't leave until after that. Because of having to rent the truck on the 11th, Pinecrest said she would give me three extra days. She stated that was all she was allowed to do. On the 16th, the uhaul center in Longview Washington called me wanting to know what time I would be in. I explained everything to the young lady. After I was done, she said they really needed that truck in as they already had it booked, that the location needed the 26' unit. From the tone of her voice, I could tell she was upset I wasn't coming in that day. As if it was my fault she didn't have a 26' truck to rent out. On the 18th. Uhaul in Longview started calling me. I once again explained everything to her and that I had until the 19th to get tge equipment in. She said that wasn't on the notes and I was already late returning the equipment. I got 2 calls that day fron Longview Washington uhaul center. The following morning, I got three calls wanting the time i would be in as NOW they needed the small trailer ASAP. I had two people lined up to help unload the truck, i was hoping to unload the truck the night of the 18th. When the two guys got to the storage facility, they were drunk! I just told them to go home. I just went to the motel. These were guys from tge uhaul app. I got to the storage unit at five a.m. and stared unloading the truck as I thought that was what they needed first. So I had all the small stuff out, and around the storage unit. Loading a truck, the small stuff is the last to load and tge first to unload. At 8 a.m. uhaul started calling me they wanted the small trailer in by 9a.m. they had a customer wanting the trailer by 9. So I had to stop what I was doing and unload the small trailer. I had things all around the storage unit I had to leave in order to get the small trailer to uhaul center. When i was finally done, the 26' truck was unloaded and cleaned. When I got to uhaul. The guy said there were no notes saying the Overgaard location gave me extra days and he could only give me two days! After trying to rush me, making it seem it was my fault uhaul was short 26' trucks, no notes from uhaul centers. The frustration between all parties involved except the pickup location. I shouldn't have been charged any extra days.JOHN V.

I was forced to pick up the truck a day early, but told I would only be charged for 1 day, but charged 3 day rental. This should have been clear and was not my fault the office was closed. I tried calling them to understand the charge, but get no answer. I would think twice before using them again.fran G.

The service agent was very helpful when I had to change my reservation. When I wasn't able to, she call UHaul and had it changed for me. Great experience. Oh, the truck was fine, it had some damage that was already noted, was clean, and had almost a full tank of gas.BROCK B.

Shortly after I picked up the truck in Gilbert, AZ, a woman called me from a 602 area code customer service phone number asking me to drop the truck in Snowflake, AZ,40 miles in the opposite direction of where we would be going when we were finished off-loading the truck. She told me that the Overgaard facility was full and couldn't accept another truck. She offered me a 50 $credit. I guess that was supposed to cover my time, my wife's time, and fuel for a personal vehicle during the time we were busy moving. This story of the lot being full was a complete fabrication. After being on the phone with her for 30+ minutes, she finally admitted your company needed the truck in Snowflake for other reservations, not because the lot was full in Overgaard. I ended up on the phone with her co-worker, Matthew, who tried to "guilt" me into driving the truck to Snowflake. Very unprofessional. There was only one truck in the Overgaard lot when I dropped off the truck.Mark S.
