My destination location was destroyed by a flash flood and had a truck load of household items, as was the return location for the Uhaul truck. I was given extra days and mileage to not only fine alternate an storage facility, but allowed me to use the truck past the return date to haul and relocate my damaged items already in the destroyed storage facility, which was 3 units. Thank you very much for your understanding and help in my time of need, as we lost half of our house hold items but were able to relocate the salvaged items!

The customer service was excellent! Dana went above and beyond to make sure it went smoothly. We needed to pick the truck up in the early morning (before opening) , she called us to let us know the truck was upgraded because the size we wanted wasn't turned in. she answered our call when the online check-in didn't work (because of the early pickup). She found an open uhaul location to return the truck when the one we went to was closed. Thank You Dana, you were fantastic !

I was given a truck that had a check engine light on. When I called to inquire I was told that it had been in the last few times it was rented and was due to bad gas in there area. The issue with the truck caused me to use over 300 dollars in gas gettimg only 7,2 miles per gallon. The truck had broken mirrors and other safety issues. Upon going to an actual uhaul center I was informed by the GM Jimmy that the sticker they put on the truck after inspection was never put on. Thus telling me it was never truly inspected. This is a safety issue and had anything happened to myself or my family would have opened the company to substantial financial loss. The trailer had an issue with the crank that caused it to take forever thus wasting my time. The customer service I've received from now on I will look elsewhere for my moving needs.

The lady who runs the place is very nice, but the building and the interior look like a complete mess! First thing you see is old dirty dolls and kids toys EVERYWHERE and SMELLS of old musty clothes and cigarettes so badly that you need to take an immediate shower once you get back to your location and throw your clothes in a wash machine to get rid of the cigarette smell. IT'S HORRIBLE!

The front tires on the truck were bald on the inside, we noticed it before we left the uhaul in Tennessee. We got 3/4 of the way across the country and had to have both front tires replaced in Flagstaff AZ. It took about 8 hrs for this to happen. We understand that the systems were down for uhaul nation wide. We faired better than some who were stranded on the highway, because we noticed it in time before a blow out, so we stayed in a hotel, but it should not have been given to us in that condition in the first place. I would still recommend uhaul, but next time I will be going over the vehicle a little more diligently, especially for state to state moves.
