erika wBoth my pickup and drop off locations, customer service was on point. Very friendly and personable, luckily got a newer unit which was the most smooth ride and nicest I have rented from UHaul.

Kathleen SMark continues to provide information that allows me to pick the rental truck, vans etc. that best meet my needs. Polite and professional earn my repeat business. There are other U Haul rental sites in greater Portland where I have had to deal with extremely rude behavior and the service at the pleasant hill site in So Portland has returned me as a regular U haul customer again.
ROLAND SGet GPS location update. It's Bull shizt they leed you down a one way narrow street. When all the GPS needed to say, Continue 1000 feet, location on the right! Now another reason for me to stay away from South Portland, Maine!

Gary WThis pickup process was very disappointing and cumbersome. It was very frustrating to take 45 minutes to complete the on line pick up process. When we called customer service for assistance we were told that they could not help us we would have to use the app to complete the process. What should take 5 minutes took us about 45 minutes. The app could not verify our location and would not let us proceed. We were asked to give a second phone number to verify our identity and we never received a call- we tried this twice with different numbers. I understand that technology is in use and serves a purpose but I have rented many u hauls over the years and have never taken more than 5-10 minutes to get on the road- this process was not customer friendly and very frustrating. In the future I will think twice about using u haul for our moving needs.

Christy KThe person I picked the truck up from threatened to cancel the reservation when I asked about the pick up time guarantee. He said I was being "really specific" and he has an hour after the pick up time to get me a similar truck. I pointed out that a guarantee for a time is a specific and that is why uhaul will give you 50$ of the truck isn't there. I was very confused about why he was so angry about this line of questioning and was absolutely shocked when he threatened to cancel the truck. I didn't have a choice but to rent the truck. I returned it early to a much nicer older gentlemen and will never ever return to this location for uhaul or his automotive repair and I will most certainly be spreading the word. His anger was scary.
Shannon PI returned the van after closing hours so I can't comment on the Drop Off Location. One closing comment: I received charges for tolls and a speeding ticket after the fact. The administrative fees for these were exorbitant in my opinion.

Rich HTry to put some accessories in the truck like ropes or ties and a small trolley to wheel heavy items up to the truck If economically viable for you We don't mind paying a little bit extra for such and lifting aids
