Expecting a company to fulfill the commitment when a "reservation" is made is a reasonable expectation. It is the companys' responsibility to ensure equipment is where it should be for pick up, and blaming the customers as the cause of uhaul never knowing where their equipment is situated. It appears Uhaul has deleted its ability to move where it needs to be as they do not have "drivers". This shows you have a poor tracking program for your own equipment, and appears that the customer is now your "drivers" and at the customers expense. A 6 hour drive to pick up equipment is NOT REASONABLE! Customer service is means the employee and the equipment is the business. You don't blame the customer for equipment not being where with 5 weeks notice, the company could not ensure it is. The customer service representative needs more training on the "service". Obviously logistics is a problem uhaul as a company is currently having difficulty with, and an investment in a program that tracks and allocates where demand shows need is. Obviously this would improve uhauls' ability to logistically meet the consumers need. It appears Uhaul in their intent of keeping costs down have eliminated their ability to maintain and have a working plan of action to navigate supply and command. ( with today's technology all your equipment should have tracking devices installed.) i am certain developing a tracking program is the first step to knowing where your equipment is located.

Why do you have to submit a photo of your ID or credit card when doing an online check-in, because you have to do it again at the dealer? What a waste of time
