jeff sI selected the uhaul location close to my house and was sent here 30 minutes away. Already making me late I had to walk the dolly I rented 2 blocks to where the truck was parked. I will never recommend uhaul to anyone.

Reza SFirstly, the app kept saying I wasn't at the right location, so I had to contact an employee to get the truck. It took a long time, with back-and-forth trips and waiting for paperwork. When I finally got the truck, the app wouldn't let me update the fuel level. I contacted tech support, but they never responded. Returning the truck was also a hassle. The app kept rejecting the photos I needed to upload, making the process longer. I've used U-Haul before, and it used to be more convenient. Sadly, this time it fell short.
Vasily MThe worst ever experience. There is no instruction where exactly to pick up the truck. Eventually found on street by myself. I reserved the dolly but the location forgot to put in and there is nobody at the pick up location. The online check in process is full of errors and I had to call the customer service and wasted two hours to get the process done. The fuel tank is almost empty. I had to overfill in order to drive to where I'm going to.
YANG QPicking up using the Internet what is the disaster for us. It took an hour and a half a calling uHall and talking to different people we were able to get the key to take the truck. We will never use this method again too. Time-consuming and very, very frustrating.
Maria sCould not get in the 24 hour Postal office.. closed on the weekend!!!! My pickup was for Sunday!!! Could not find the truck!!! Had to drive around to find it!!!! After I returned it I had to show were I parked for gas next customer…I did not see ghat when I picked up my truck!!!' You guys are clueless!!!!! I would think U-Haul would have their act together…get your butt out their and see what is happening instead of sending me this stupid "what can we do to improve!!!!!

Christy TThe truck and equipment was very good. This location was actually a Postal Annex/Uhaul rental. It was in a shopping center and didn't have its own parking for all their rental vehicles. So all the vehicles were parked all around the shopping center. He assigned me a truck directed me to where the truck was. I followed his instructions and walked completely around the building and couldn't find it. He apologized that he assigned me the wrong vehicle and directed me a different direction. I found the vehicle but it was nowhere close to where he directed me. By then I had walked about half a mile. That is why I gave 3 stars instead of 5 stars.

I had to drive with hazards on because the truck had little power to move. I'll go back to renting from Penske if this is the way you treat customers

Kristine KI had a bit of a problem with the 24/7 app, but the U-Haul gentlemen help me with a manual check out. Also, when I returned the truck on Sunday when the office was closed, the 24/7 app asked me to put the lock back into the truck and lock the truck, but I never received a lock. I explained this to the gentlemen at U-Haul today and he stated that because he had to manually check me out and handed me the keys at pick up, there wasn't a lock and to ignore the app request. So I was pleased with the service, thank you.
Douglas MCouldn't find the truck. The stock photo of the truck was very unhelpful. The Description of the truck location was generic and non descriptive. The process requested a second reference for the rental and I couldn't use the reference i had already added to the listing! The random phone call verification was unexpected and time consuming. The requirement for precise location via my safari browser required me to change the location setting in my phone to accommodate application since non-specific location was not ok. I had to call customer service 3 times to figure this out. There was also an issue with starting the vehicle checkout process online because the button wasn't present on my account. I hope U Haul makes improvements to this overall experience.

Duc PWe reserved a 10' truck of which there were several scattered in the parking lots and street. We had to hunt for the exact 10' truck that was reserved for us. It was hard to know the exact cost of rental until the end. The rental transactions were all online. There is an extra fee if you need help with the return. Even knowing how the uhaul 24/7 rental system works now, I would not use it again. I will go to a uhaul location that is staffed even if it has limited hours

Andrew JOver charged on mileage. I drove 20 miles and was charged for 179. I was also charged for a dolly I did not request or use. Also the windshield was filthy and very difficult to see out of at nighttime.

Lisa RManager lied about how much gas was in the vehicle and is unresponsive to my emails asking for a refund to my $100+ erroneous charge.
Ryan DService was good with one very disappointing exception: $20 for 1 gallon of gas (3,6L)?!?!? With a gauge that's tentative at best?!? This was an arbitrary and random surcharge, unacceptable.
Rui PI don't recommend using any satellite station without an attendant. Worst experience ever. Took almost an hour to be able to get the truck.

Scott JThey charged me a whole extra day and insurance day cause I brought the truck back past my 6 hours I made reservation for. When you reserve a truck make sure even if you just need it for 2 hours put 11 hours so if you return after hours you won't get charged a whole extra day it's ridiculous. I even called uhaul to say the truck is back. They didn't care and still charged me a extra 44 dollars
Travis LThe website wouldn't work for the longest time. Turned on location services on my phone and wouldn't connect. Then when turning in the uhaul every time I took a photo of the odometer it just went back to the main page.. please make it more clear which truck is yours also.
Jesse WVehicle was slow to check out, (not yet cleaned from the night before),. Opened at 9, showed up at 915 for a 9 reservation, got out of there around 930. Vehicle Air Conditioning did not work, only blew cool air, other than that sufficient.
Thomas Mtell people the cab overhead dome light takes 10-15 seconds to turn off after you have closed the door. we thought it wasn't turning off when we saw all kinds of instructions on how to turn it off. also at postal annex it's not clear where you're supposed to drop off the keys. is there a slot? do you leave them with the employee from postal annex?
Derek AEverything went great but the online return was AWFUL! I had to go thru the website 3 different times just to return the vehicle. I had to retake the pics over and over again. I had great service on my phone so it wasn't the signal. The website kept crashing on me. Everything was great except for the website. I will recommend this place but not sure if I would recommend doing the return online.
Michael CThis was a disaster in everyway. The Pictures show the truck has a loading ramp, it did not. The app did not work and after 30 minutes of it not working I had to go into store to get manually completed. The windshield was so dirty you could not she through the windshield and my pick up was at night delaying me further. Then I get the bill and there is a hidden charge of $20 for after hours service fee. Wow! Really for what??? You cant get any help after hours and you did nothing to earn it. Terrible experience all around. Great work Uhaul!

Henry NThe weekend experience using only the app or online web page was a nightmare. Whoever designed the web pages for checking-in and getting the truck online should be fired, the whole IT team, it was a nightmare. Let's start with the check-in the day before. No problems, in fact, the link to the check-in page said that an account on Uhaul.com was "optional", and I never created an account when I reserved the truck. So what happened the next day when I drove the Uhaul location? When I clicked on the link to pick up the truck, it took me the account login page! I could not go further without creating an account first, even though the page said it was "optional". Ok, no problem right, just create an account, but I couldn't! I entered the email that I used to reserve the truck, didn't work. I used the phone number to reserve the truck, didn't work. I repeatedly clicked on "reset password" and "resend the code", no emails were sent, no text message was sent. Ok, no problem, just call customer service. Guess what? The expected wait time to talk to someone was 52 minutes! I had an appointment with the city at 11 AM, I couldn't wait an hour to talk to someone. I was finally able to talk to someone through the online chat support, who must have reset something so that I can request a code again, and this time it let me through. The whole experience was infuriating and frustrating. Going forward to picking up the truck, the next screens kept popping up the customer support chat, even though I'm done with customer support, but it kept popping up. Every screen. Poor programming. Finally, dropping off the truck, I went through all the screens again, taking pictures, and finally reached the point where it said I was done, except another page that said I have to now go to Uhaul.com/share to finish the process. Wait what? I thought I was done, so I go to Uhaul.com/share to see what else I have to do, and it says nothing is on that page for me to do. Unbelievably bad UI design all the way through. Fire your whole IT team. All of them.

OWEN COffice location closed on weekends. Information on how to retrieve a truck was poor, had to find original text/email. I was not aware of all that was needed. additional contacts were sleeping - I could not alert them in advance to expect a call Drop off instructions also poor. I had already dropped off the keys and I couldn't take a picture of the odometer

JANGIR SI am very displeased with Uhaul at your postal Annex location. After I cleaned the vehicle put gas back inside the truck as i was returning the vehicle the postal Annex location was closed. I sat in front office looking for a drop box display and there was nothing posted or listed showing were the key should be dropped off. I didn't want be charged extra for keeping the truck so i locked the keys inside the vehicle. Now I am being charged $75 dollars for you guys to call a locksmith. Additionally your postal Annex did not display no signs of a drop box. Plus it makes no sense to only have one key and no spare just in case. I have emailed your field manager as well and I need my $75 reimbursed back to my card please. This is not right and I feel I'm being taken advantage of because your postal Annex location didn't properly disclose where a key drop box location was. Thank you for time.
CHARLES CIt’s 15 miles from where I live and there is a uhaul depot 2 miles away !
Philip MI found the online process to pick up and and return the truck very confusing and difficult to use. I will never do that again if I can avoid it.
