They checked after me like the cops search criminal people .. but when they rented the truck to me , they didn’t bother to check it with me . How the hell are you going to compare before and after ? If not checked when I rented it . Very poor customer service. If they want to check, I recommend they check at renting first. It’s a shame

Both the male and female at this location are rude. Took forever to get it rented because her printer wasn’t working and then I rented it for 24 hours and had it for 12 hours before I received a text after 11 pm that said the truck was due back by 12 am. I took the truck back to the store which was closed and dropped it off and left the keys in the over night box so the next morning in the middle of my move I had to go to the store and spend an hourly waiting for the lady to get there because the man couldn’t help me. There are so totally rude and not only will I never rent a uhaul from them again I will not even buy anything from their store. They make uhaul look bad and I’ll be sure to let anyone and everyone know. Retrain these people please!!!

They can let you know that they actually set a time limit on your turn in day instead of lying about when you need to turn your vehicle in.

The owners were so unprofessional and outright disrespectful and demeaning. I literally left there crying. They try to run a store at the same time as Uhaul orders and it was quite apparent that the owner could not do both and let her frustrations show. I am filing a formal complaint with Uhaul Corporate office!

The customer service from the lady when I return the uhaul was unacceptable. She was on her cell phone when I while I was asking what the amount due was and the entire time checking me out. Wasn’t paying attention to what I was asking at all.

The service was terrible. The gentlemen was helping others in the middle of putting my info in on the computer, which he was obviously having difficulty with already. I will never go back here and I will make sure everyone else knows how terrible it is

I just felt that they owners where not very professional. It took them hours to finally close out my contract. The phone number was to a personal cell phone that keep going to voice mail. It just was not the professionalism I expected from uhaul. Do think I would rent from this location again. Would rather pay the milage.

The facillitator of the key issue took over 20 minutes after i had performed the auto check in and rental to issue keys and was constantly on the phone instead of trying to assist. For simple lack of expedited issue or speed i would absolutely not recommend this location

The guy working the counter did not know how to work the computer. He relied on his wife to drive to the store to get things fixed. It took an hour a half waiting at the store to get the truck. Beware of any ANY dirt, they will try and charge you for a cleaning fee. They will also try and charge you for not folding the blankets.

They didn’t seem to know what they were doing we had to wait for the person behind the counter to call someone so we could rent the truck we reserved. We waited about 15 minutes for the person to call back. When we returned the truck they wouldn’t close our contract out right away they said we would get an email in 20 minutes. I never received an email. I called later that day and was told they would look into it and call me back. Never received a call.

Not sure where the problem started but the reservation was under my name and contact information; somehow it got switched to my husband's name and contact info. Since then our reservation has been a nightmare from where to drip off, to us calling and asking if we can drop off at the uhaul less than a mile from us instead if the 20 mile away location they recommended. It was approved and she said she updated our file so we dropped off our uhaul at 11 am instead of 5 pm. Almost a week later i get an email that our uhaul was never returned. I talked to 3 different people and the last guy said he'd look into it and call me back. I finally get an additional bill for "After hours drop off charges" as well as "missing equipment" charges. This rental has been a headache from beginning to end. I've used Uhaul in the past and have never had issues but if this is the type of inefficient processes I'll have to deal with then I will definitely choose other options for moving vans.

they were closed when we came during store hours. had to redue everything online and they didn't have the dolly ready for us . so over an hour past time and no dolly, so we had to lift everything!!!! not cool!

I did not like that my husband was handed a broom to sweep the truck, even though he told them it was clean. She insisted that he needed to sweep the truck. The truck could have been checked & verified that it was clean before just insisting & handing him the broom. This is the only downfall we experienced.

The person on location did not know how to rent the truck. He called his wife to do so. She rented the truck to me over the phone. No one walked out to inspect the truck with me so I took several pictures before taking it. Then, I was charged over $424.19 for a one way trip, when it was supposed to be in-town and returned to the same store. She had me returning it to another location in San Antonio!! I called the U-hual 1800 number several times because I needed to extend the rental and get the one way rental problem fixed. On the third call I was finally helped, I cannot remember his name but he was a great help! I've used U-haul several times over my lifetime, this is the one and only bad experience I've ever had. I was told the charge on my credit card would only be a hold in the beginning, nope it went through. So, after extending the rental, the final amount came to about $400, but I was initially charged $424.19. When I returned it and argued the fact I was charged for a one way, I was told it would be fixed. I was refunded $3.20.

I was charged for fuel & fuel service charge even though I filled the tank back past the level it started at. in fact they charged me for more fuel than i could have used, based on the miles I drove it at the stated 10 mpg.
