U-Haul's app does not work well; you need to take and submit photos (personally identifiable information) while at the U-Haul dealer, then you finally are able to submit it on page four of the app, IT FAILS, meanwhile the U-Haul dealer is sitting right there patiently and could have done the whole thing for me. They're embarrassed. I'm embarrassed. Company is great. App does not work.

The young lady who helped me was professional, polite, and attentive. Everything went smoothly. I did point out to her that the gas gauge was at 3/4 and not 7/8 (as was on the rental sheet) and she said she would not that. I may have been charged for extra gasoline (because I returned it 3/4 full). However, she had already discounted the rate because I wanted to rent a trailer and they had none available, so I rented a truck instead. I will definitely recommend.

The assigned vehicle was parked behind and blocked by another truck by the facility operators. This caused me to have to back it out of a 100 yard path in the dark. This not my usual vehicle, having to do that in the dark was not pleasant.

Quick friendly service, no waiting in line. They deliver on their promises! A very good experience. Their inventory is not very large but they are flexible on what they will do to accommodate your needs.

Very nice young lady helped me but she had no knowledge on how to load a vehicle on a car trailer. She said there was usually a coworker there that knew more but he did not work weekends. She sent me to another small U-haul dealer across the street to help secure the vehicle. The only person working came out and repositioned the front tire tie downs but said that for liability reasons could not handle the safety chains. He sent me to a larger U-haul site a few miles away and they attached the safety chains and checked all other connections. I wish U-haul online had sent me to the larger location first.

I am being charged twice the price for a tow dolly that total charge was $52. Employee at pick up said I could drop it off at any location. I could only drop off after hours. Within my 24 hour rental. I am now being charged 112 dollars extra. I have never had such issues with U-Haul. Please give me a call at 480-313-9595

I found the open trailer I rented to be with a lot of trash from someone prior move which I needed to sweep once I got home before I put the trailer and my rental to use. I make a point of this issue since there is a sign on the trailer that talks about a $15 charge if the trailer is brought back not cleaned. I did sweep the trailer when I was done with it and before returning.

Overhead door on 5x8 trailer was very sticky and hard to pull down. Worker knew it but still gave it to me to use. Worker (she) also did not really want to disconnect trailer from my hitch as it was raining and or she was lazy. Had to repeat my phone # 2 or 3 times to her and the address 3 times when I rented it. Not a good employee.

This doesn’t have to do with this location as much as UHaul in general. I reserved a truck 3-4 weeks in advance to pick up in Maricopa ( in town 2 miles away). Two days before pickup we were asked to get it 25 miles away. When we went to get it the day of, we were sent another 20+ Miles away. We were only given a credit of an extra 20 miles credit :-( And to top things off we were told we couldn’t return the truck where planned (Surprise) -that they didn’t have any in that city (LOL). And so we had to return 30 miles from where we were! Ridiculous and frustrating we were charged for so many miles out of our control.

This was not the drop off location I had asked for upon my reservation. This location was in shambles. When the guy (with a total indifferent demeanor) in charge finally decided to help me, he told me that they were not accepting drop offs as they were moving. He told me to go drop off the trailer at a storage facility about a couple hundred yards down the street, They would accept the trailer there, just put the envelope in the box outside if no one is there. When I got there, there was no one there so I had to disconnect the trailer myself, park it and left the envelope in the box as instructed. After this mess, I received two phone calls from two separate people from U-Haul wanting to know where their trailer was or if I still had it. I told both of them were they could find it even though their records showed the drop off location. You guys need to get your act together.

My daughter and I got there at 3pm and I ordered and confirmed 2 times during the week, that a 26 foot truck would be available. The money was taken out from my account right away. The office door was locked and the sign said out to lunch be back at 2:30pm. No one ever showed up. I work at the State Capitol in Phoenix and drove all the way to Queen Creek to pick up a truck. A man came by on a golf cart and said he would give the owner a call. He did and said help was on the way. We waited one hour and no one showed. I call the 800 number of Uhaul to complain, and waited a long time about 20 minutes before I got Craig. He said since he only had a 20 foot available their would be no extra mile fee. He also told me to take a picture of the gas mileage, which I did, and the truck only had 1/4 of a tank. I used it all with 30 miles to spare and the guy wanted to charge me to fill it up. I told him no that Craig said I would not be charged for going over mileage and being late for a landlord appointment and no gas would be charged. I am so upset as they charged me the original $153.00 and I just got an additional $89.00 no way, the service was appalling. Craig did his best to help me in the awful experience. I want the $89.00 credited back to my account. Susan Seibold

Location opens at 8am however no one showed up til almost 8:30. 3 customers were waiting for their rental pickups. The rep then proceeded to give us attitude about being in a rush. We were suppose to be somewhere at 9am with the trailer, but were 45 mins late and almost had to reschedule due to poor service.

The last couple of times I have rented equipment from u haul I have found it to be very inconvenient to have to return the equipment back to its original location. I have had to rent from atleast 20 to 30 miles from my home. I've tried to return at the location that is about 5 miles from my home and was told that I could not.
