The location was great -- near the storage lockers we needed to put the furniture into. However it was difficult to know there was a U-Haul place at the address without seeing the other trucks. There was no external sign saying U-Haul. Only a small sign in the window was visible. Perhaps make it more clear where the U-Haul office is.RICHARDPHILIP O.

Overall good rental experience, but the app is worthless for mobile checkout and return. It would not let me complete steps like uploading images. U-haul needs to spend more and invest in better app developers. I would not recommend the mobile rental experience. Go when there is someone at the location.Won J.
I received two separate emails with different pick up addresses. Company changed address and it wasn't clear really why. I saw only one email at the time and I arrived tu the location that was closed. Also movers didn't show up. Something not right.Olga S.

Online checkin process was useless, I spent time inputting my name, address, phone, drivers license information and other details in order to reserve the van the night before, then had to do it again while trying to check in online at the renal center, to include photos of my drivers license and my face, which was useless due to poor cell coverage. THEN, I had to do it all over AGAIN with the clerk at the rental center!! All of which put me an hour behind schedule for the day. I rented from the closest center to me in Leesburg and the system CHANGED my rental to Sterling, almost 10 miles away, adding 20 miles to my rental mileage (which added over 15 $to my rental bill + gas costs). This was the worst experience in my many years of daily rentalsâ€¦HOPLER N.

There should be a policy of not renting a truck with less than 1/4 tank of gas. I picked up the truck and within a minute or two, the gas warning light came on with no gas station in sight.Edwin H.
The drop off location was the problem. Charged an extra day because they refused to return truck when we got there at 10:30am. Cameras will prove that. Received an invoice for extra 40 $at 1:38pm that day. Unacceptable. We were literally ripped off because of lack of your rep checking in the truck on time. Never again will I rent from uhaul and I will be sure to let anyone I know preparing to rent a truck to go to Penske or Budget instead.NICHOLESRYAN HES P.

This location was excellent though they charge me fir 0,46 cents. This amount was nominal. I will recommend U-Haul management to make a policy not to charge any one less than a buck. It will be a good gesture to save many transactions.MOHAMMADALIRAZA K.
manekin square, sterling, va. Order for 4 doz packing blankets, only had 32. Personnel could not locate my record for truck rental and said my truck was at another location. When my U Haul app gave manekin sq as the pickup location. Recommend retraining for site persons. ThanksERICGEORGE D.

Took over an hour to get the keys to the truck. The app check in didn't work after spending 25 minutes trying. It told me I had to go into the store to complete the transaction. Waited 20 minutes in the store for the one person working to free up. Then it took another 25 minutes for him to complete the process. All information was entered into their system before I arrived and yet they asked me for all of the information again to reenter into their system. I would recommend going to one of the larger locations where they're better staffed.STEVENPAUL B.

This location was great.. but.. I was originally supposed to get a truck in Falls Church. When I got there, the lady working said I could not leave my car there while making my move, so I called customer service and explained the situation. The rep arranged another truck about 20 miles further away in Alexandria (and gave me extra mileage). When I got to the location in Alexandria, they would not let me leave my car there either. When I called customer service again she said no one would allow me to leave my car (which is stupid as I need to drive to the location to get the truck). So I told her to get me someplace closer to my home and she sent me to Sterling (and upgraded my truck). The Sterling location had a huge parking lot and said leaving my car there was no problem. They did not have any record of the upgrades that customer service had promised, so I had to call customer service again and they straighted it all out. So what should have been a quick thing turned out to take over 3 hours just to get the truck. It was a night mare. The people at the Sterling location were really nice and so were the customer service reps. The workers at the Falls Church and Alexandria place were not very nice. When I got the contract at Sterling, it said I had a full tank of gas, but the truck was only 3/4 full. I told them and they made a note of it. When I returned the truck, I filled to just over 3/4. When I got my bill, Uhaul tried to charge me for the 1/4 extra gas. I called customer service again and she removed that charge. It was not a fun day for something that should have just been a simple pick up.JOSPEHMICHAEL P.

There was no one in the office. Someone from another office had to tell us where to put trailer. I had trouble disconnecting with no one to help me. Then the trailer needed chicks to keep it from rolling into parking lot. Same person from other office helped me find rocks and device to chock wheels. Not a good drop off experience.Steven M.
