The Uhaul was on a donut wheel. It ran poorly. I thought several times that it was going to break down. I was unable to adjust the passenger side mirror to check my blind spot. There was a sticky substance on the cup holders and passenger dashboard. I will never use Uhaul again.

CAROL PThe location was not bad the run around from the highway 90 and Grissom facility was bad . The online procedure was not working right . When I tried to give a location it kept giving me. My hone address. . I get to the Grissom rd location only to be told we don't have one and should've been told this the day before . Luckily the Castroville rd had 1 and the one I needed. Once I picked it up and brought it back the location with in the allotted time all was good . I'm just saying the online and the staff at the highway 90 location can be more helpful
FRANCISCO GThe lady who helped me with check-in was very nice. However, she told me that everything was in the truck. Once I arrived at my storage unit, she didn't give me the tape that I purchased. Additionally, she didn't mention anything about needing to return the furniture pads. The guy at the location had an attitude, and I'm not sure what his deal was. He was asking me why I didn't fill up the gas in an accusatory manner, but I know I will be charged for the amount I used. I didn't realize I had caused a huge problem for him. Also, after I handed the key to the guy, he didn't check the truck or anything until 40 minutes later. I left the location needing to return the furniture pads, but I will be charged for another day of renting if I don't return them by 9 AM, which is only 5 minutes until 9 AM. I didn't know that the furniture pads needed to be returned. When I rented the truck, nobody told me that I had to return them at the location. If I had known, I would have returned them, as I don't need them and I don't want to pay extra. The location was very unprofessional compared to any other locations I've been to over the years.

BARBARA VAlthough the gentleman who helped me at the counter did his job, he did not do anything else. 1. Parking for trucks and vehicles is filled with deep divots and rocks since it is not concrete. As a senior I was hardly able to walk without fear of falling. 2. Truck was dusty and dirty inside the cabin. No trash but lots of grime. 3. Not good customer service-didn't walk me thru to look at truck or equipment. He just handed me the keys and told me where to go.

Ashley VFirst trailer was broken and in the system as broken and they still tried to give it to us and then found out after the lights didn't work that it was actually not to be used. Gave us the only other car dolly they had and the ratchet strap on the right side of the vehicle was cut and majority of the tail length was cut off and it was frayed so it was unusable. The people working at this corner store that are running this Uhaul service had no idea what they were doing. They had no idea how to test the lights with their tool and we had to explain it to her that it wouldn't light up unless we were using the blinkers and brakes. They tried telling us it was our truck that was the issue even though we had rented one in New Braunfels 2 days before with no issues. This trailer was damaged on the frame in multiple areas and was all around a sketchy situation that I will not experience again.

Worst experience of my life with a moving truck, I should have rented a Penske a d I will surely recommend to all my Military brothers and sisters to go with Penske since they actually take care of their trucks.

The dealer hooked up my car wrong to the tow dolly by not putting the security chains on at all and putting the tire straps in the ratchets the wrong way so I could not get them off my vehicle when I got to my location. I had to call roadside assistance to get my car off the dolly. He also gave me incorrect information by telling me to leave my engine running and my car in neutral while towing it on the dolly! I asked the U-Haul person who gave me this location on the phone prior to going there if the dealer would be able to assist me in setting my car onto the tow dolly and he said yes. Clearly that was a lie!!! This was a crappy experience and just very disappointing.

Alan WHorrible experience! Did the mobile pick up and could not find the lock box, the instructions, were very vague and poor! Spent 30mins trying to get help from customer service representative, that I just left and did not even use the U-Haul!

Nook GMake sure all of the tires have the exact tire pressure. The right rear passenger side said tire pressure was low. I think that there should be some type of ramp or lift so it's easier to put heavy stuff in the truck. Other than that everything else was OK with the truck.
Michelle SI filled the gas tank showed him my receipt and the guy said it's not full I just filled it up and spent $72 to fill up he still charged me $9 Fuck U-Haul just trying scam people out of more money. Even after I showed the guy the receipt.

mary gI was kinda nervous because I don't normally rent U-Hauls, but the employees at the Primos Food Mart were super helpful and kind. They made my experience very easy and explained everything to me as far as the contract goes and what to do. I feel so bad if I forgot their names but I believe their names were Jessica and Nick? Then dropping the truck off was very easy and the U-Haul representative, who's name I forgot sorry, was awesome with great customer service. I was very pleased with the service overall. I read bad reviews about U-Hauls at other locations so I was very glad I went to Primos Food Mart. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends when they need to move. Merci encore!

helen hEvening reception staff (female) working register was extremely rude and bothered to service customer. Rolling her eyes at myself while helping other customers and yelling across the store for someone to get the dolly after telling me "you need to go get the dolly and being it in here yourself and make sure you didn't leave it empty!" I struggled but managed to bring the dolly in she was not helpful assisting to hold the door open or anything.

Brian GI think finding a process to speed up actually getting the vehicle would be extremely beneficial. The current process is very time consuming. It is much easier to rent a car from any of the major companies.
Kevin MI wanted a 24 hour rental and the person put me in for a 4 hour rental. I didn't get a actual print out of the receipt but I told the man that I would not have it back by the time they closed at 3:30pm so put me down for 24 hours and I would get it back early morning. When was finishing up the pickup part of my trip, I tried to find the gas amount I needed and noticed he had put in 4 hours and not 24 hours so I called numerous times and finally got through. He said he could not change it and basically called me a liar( even though he kept getting me to repeat things during the initial rental phase and he had hearing aids in) and said I would have to pay for an extra day. My rental was a 19,95 daily rental that he made a mistake on but even then it was for a day. I had said I was driving around 60 miles total so that's 2 hours on San Antonio highways and roads and it takes a while to load then offload by myself. It really made me unhappy with the whole situation and I rent from uhaul fairly often. I called the 800 number after he lied and said he would check with his boss and call me back ( it's almost midnight- no call) and the reservation lady asked about how much time I would need to get unloaded and gave me an additional 2 hours- once again this should have been a 24 hr rental so I ended up hurting myself trying to unload the truck in 90+ degree heat with artificial hips because this rental person could not own up to their mistake. I would NEVER recommend this location and right now I am not too happy with uhaul in general.
Felicia BRented the truck, appliance dolly and two furniture dollys for 2 days but only ended up using it for one day, but we were not informed until arrival there were no dollys available. We did end up getting an appliance dolly. Upon returning the equipment the same night we were told we would have to call uhaul to have the second day charges removed and not charged.

ricardo lThe inside cab need to be cleaned. The dash board, windows at all level and the side mirrors. The AC cooling and stereo were excellent. The only problem, dirty can and windows.

Virginia Vwe ordered a truck at the Commerce Street location but at the last minute we were told we had to pick it up at this convenience store . The man at the store barely spoke English and knew nothing at all about how to rent the truck . He did not know how to do anything . There were 2 trucks on the lot and he said to just take one . He could not copy my drivers license and messed with the computer for over an hour . I had reserved 4 hours and he cost me an hour of my time and did not know how to change that . It was terrible and caused the entire day and move to be messed up . We never got any receipts , no paperwork , nothing at all . He said someone would do it today . This was very BAD . If My granddaughter was not moving on her only day off we would have walked away and not even taken the truck . She is an RN it the NICU and had 1 day to move so we took the truck but never again !!!!!!
Ronald HFirst of all My Truck wasn't prepared with the equipment I reserved, so I had to drive back to the store about 2miles to pick up my appliance dolly even tho I'm being charged per mile, and i had to dust mop the U-Haul unit myself, and last I was overcharged 2 separate fees, Addressed the issue with primos foodmart that said I had to contact customer service. Customer service got me in contact with the field supervisor for that location we spoke on my overcharge and was promised a callback and still nothing. Unhappy customer here!!!!!
patricia MI went to rent a 10 foot truck from gas station and was very unprofessional felt as if I was ordering ice cream from a ice cream truck with little to no Communication I was given the key and was told to bring it back and just give the key to whoever is there when done. When dropping truck off at 8:01 pm on Saturday I went inside gave the key to the lady working all she told me was that she was going to put me down for dropping truck off at 8:05 pm i then saw her write on a paper my name and time I was super skeptical I went outside took pictures of truck all the way around because I new there was some shady stuff going on and wanted to cover my self from getting charged for stuff that I didn't do. So with that being said I got a recipe saying I dropped the truck off at 9 am Sunday morning and I rented truck for 2 days which that was wrong. I also saw a charge for dirty truck which that was wrong when I first rented it I took pictures of how filthy it was and downloaded the pictures in the uhaul app . I also saw a fuel charge and that was wrong because I put 30 dollars in that truck before I dropped it off!! And it was more then what I left with!! This was just all around bad service by this dealership there taking advantage of customers and trying to get the most out of them it's sickening the AFM really needs to talk to his dealer or I'm going to complain to hire up this is very bad service and this is not the company Image uhaul wants.. especially from a authorized dealer. And just fyi I called 1800 go uhaul at 7 in the morning on Sunday to let them know that the truck still has not been received in ( checked in ) and I don't want to be charged for two days she said she was going to put it in the notes.
