This place really needs to get on the ball and turn in the vehicles the next day if they're closed on the weekend so that we don't have to get nasty letter stating that we owe for the property never again will I rent from them
Betty C.Called to verify a question and the personnel was rude. I was told at the pick up location that the drop off location was 24 hours. I go to the drop off location and it's closed. Then I get charged an after hour service fee.
Dustin G.I dropped off the trailer and I was told by staff to drop off in the back of the property where I was met by an employee that took possession of trailer. I was told that I would receive an email confirmation, which I never did. I called several times w/ no reply so I went back to the location and was finally checked in and a received an email confirmation.

Jason W.We arrived at 9:50 for a 10:00 return. We waited until at the front door since the shop opened at 10 and the neighborhood appeared sketchy to leave keys. The employee was late and didn't arrive until after 10. He took the keys and said we were good. We received a receipt later that day and he charged us an extra day listing our drop off time at 10:10. Totally sketchy business practices.

Richard B.Guy opened location 6 minutes late. I opened the door when it open and rang the bell twice. Sat there for another 3-5 minutes and peeked in the back. He yelled and me to read the sign saying employees only. I'm a woman alone in a sketchy car shop. I said I would've stayed up front but you didn't come out to help me. My reservation was 10 minutes ago. He said the truck wasn't checked in yet. Kicked me out, and back out a few Minutes later with winded and a leaf blower. “Cleaned†the truck and left it running. Walked passed me and said it's ready while walking inside. That was how I received the truck. I had to call customer Service to find out what to do next.
Kari K.Very bad customer service lied and allowed me to take a unit that would not be able to be used laughed at me when I tried to return and said he knew it wasn't gonna work but I make my own decision and said he's just trying to make money and he barely makes anything doing that, didn't report that I returned dolly before leaving San Antonio so I was called after drop off by drop off location asking where the dolly was, very rude and argumentative will never use this location again

Gabril M.The battery in the truck was no good. And the first tome i stopped to get gas during my 3,5 hr trip, the truck didnt start. Roadside assistance had to be called and of course that was a 2 hour wait. While the guy (Jon) that came to help was GREAT and quick, the break down caused me to be several hrs off schedule. Im very disappointed considering the rental cost me nearly 350$
Danetra E.The drop-off location was a mess. There was no room, the person was not there in the middle of the day. No clear return section. After waiting for over a half hour I finally had to decide to drop the trailer off in the back alley way where trailers and trucks were just parked randomly. From the road there was no access and unless you are protected getting out in that neighborhood was sketchy to say the least.

Robert B.This was the 3rd site I was sent to after the equipment not being at the second site. When I arrived at the site, I managed to get someone's attention and was informed the facility was closed and that they weren't expecting any pick-ups. However, the employee did help me to complete the pick-up. Aside from the trailer tag being expired, the equipment was clean. When I went to return the trailer, once again the shop was closed and the parking lot as well as side street were completely full of trucks and trailers. The 800 numbers refused to give me another drop off location. I finally found the alley behind the building and was able to leave the trailer there. I would NEVER use this location again, and I'm quite disappointed with U-hauls customer service.

Kenneth N.They over charged me for an after hour fee when I returned the item during what they said was normal business hours. Can not get in touch with them on the phone. Very shady operation.

Cameron H.Tire shredded with first 50 miles of trip. Even though we were in a large metroplex - San Antonio Austin - it took 4 hours to get us back on road. If there was a spare, we could have easily replaced the defective tire we were given. It was appropriate that U-Haul refunded our fee.

Kristin C.There could be a small layer of insulation added to the back of the cab to help regulate temperature in the cab and cut down on road noise coming in. The road noise problem was the biggest drawback. After a day of driving with all of that noise coming through my ears were ringing and I wasn't even able to have the radio on.

MILCIADES M.The drop off location was very far from my home. I passed multiple locations that were very significantly closer. The drop off location's opening time was 10:00 AM but my deadline for drop off was 9:00 AM. If I used the drop box instead of waiting to hand the keys off in person I would have been charged a $20 convenience fee.
