Sturdy metal step stools should be offered for customer comfort. Shorter or older or ailing customers find it extremely difficult and painful trying to get into these trucks.

You can retrain your customer service rep at the 1402 Montgomery Highway location that I originally scheduled for pickup. When I went to that location she was extremely rude to the two people in front of me as well as myself. I understand that this is a corporate location, so please pull the audio and video surveillance to see how Brittany treated your customers and offer coaching to her. I will never schedule pickup from that location again. However, Justin and Willow at my drop off location were fantastic. Kind, considerate, and professional. Kudos to them for a fabulous job.

Uhaul call to as why I hadn't turned in the trailer I rented. I told them that I turned it in 3 days ago. The place I rented it from never checked it in. When I call he said he forgot to check it in.

The location was amazing the owner even came out to make sure I was ok no U-Haul the company we need to have a discussion about them not having my rental ready and in the correct location however everything worked out

My review for this location is good, however my overall experience with U-Haul was horrible! I did an online reservation on 5/31 for a 26' truck at Dollar USA Plus in Dothan, AL. to be picked up at 12:30 on June 30th (1 month in advance). I received an email back Your order is confirmed. Your master order number is: 22621940 I called them at 12:15 on 6/30 to let them know I was on my way to pick it up only to be told they did not have any trucks available but they would find me one and call me back. 10 minutes later I received a call from Hermesha Sanders from U-Haul, she told me that the nearest available truck was 20 miles away in Florida and that we would have to go pick it up. I asked why they had an online reservation available if they didn't honor it as I had made a reservation a month in advance to make sure I had the truck available and that I had movers that were supposed to be there in 15 minutes to start loading the truck, I was told that I didn't really have a reservation because they didn't call me to confirm???? I told her I had a email with a reservation number and then she said that I was supposed to pick up by 11:00 and if not they were free to give it to someone else. I told her my reservation time was 12:30 and her response was "well I'm sorry if you didnt' read the rules"! I asked if they could have someone bring the truck from Florida to my original pick up location and was told flat out NO. So at this point I'm in tears, I have movers coming any minute and no truck, she tells me the location in FL is actually closed and that I will have to do and on line pickup and she would email the instructions. When we got the instructions we went on line and entered the Florida location and the nearest pickup location showed Performance Car Care in Dothan, AL which was 1 mile from where we were and she was trying to send us 20 miles away!!!!! Which by the way would have cost me an extra $40 because of the .99 per mile charge. We ran into additional problems with getting the key at Performance once we got the online reservation but both the owner of the business and the district manager of U-haul responded quickly and came to help us. This will be my last rental from U-Haul, not only did they not honor my reservation but the lady was uncaring and took no responsibility whatsoever for the screw-up just kept trying to tell me it was all my fault. Also after I talked to U-Haul on Saturday someone from there went in and canceled my original reservation, not sure why unless they want to make it look like it was canceled before the pick up date. Totally horrible customer service and experience

We did the pick up/ drop off through our mobile device. When we went to get the truck , they forgot to leave the key for us. Therefore, we had to wait for a key to be brought and we had movers that we were paying waiting to move our things at our location.

I had to clean the inside & windshield before moving. Truck reeked of cigarettes, which I’m allergic to. Truck leaked during rain & damaged a piece of wood furniture.

They were cool, Jason there was very helpful and answered all my questions But I got over charged for the amount of days I had the truck and for the insurance, by almost 100 dollars. Then I had two pending charges for over 400 dollars due to a mess up. Not impressed with Uhaul.

First of all I was overcharged . Since you have a copy of my damn receipt you know that I was charged 67.50 when I picked up the damn truck I only paid $54 where's the rest of my money ?? I did not rent the damn truck for 2 days ..I rented it for one this was the worst experience I have ever dealt with in my life and I want my money back.

With the place that does the hitches I was telling them all we needed was the ball part of the trailer hitch and they kept telling us the computer says your vehicle comes with it and I said no we bought it used and it's got everything but the ball part they were telling us it had to be special ordered, finally we said never mind. my husband said I know they have them so he went up there and bought one. They need to be better trained to listen to what the customer is asking for. And this having to be called back to be given your location for pick up is stupid! Each place should be able to schedule your rental without a call back

The pick up location was changed from my choice location. Had to find the new location across town. The truck was very dirty. Animal hair in the cab, food and trash in the cargo bay. Attendant did sweep the food and trash out of the cargo bay before they loaded the equipment and blankets in the back. Location did not have a tow dolly available Found out the hard way the 26 foot truck roof leaked right at the 13 foot area. Mattresses and furniture got wet. Imagine soaked wrapping blankets. Terrible moving experience!

I had an emergency around March 2015 where my daughter's car quit on her and left her stranded. I happened to come up on this place of business as they were getting ready to close for the day. Jason was great and I brag on him and his professionalism every chance that I get. He helped me attach the two wheel dolly to my exterra then came to the house and helped me, my friend's daughter and mother to push the car up on the dolly. He then made sure that we had it secure and followed me out of the neighborhood in case I had any problems. I will certainly recommend him and his business to anyone who needs car help or repair. I will also use him in the future. They are great and professional.

The check in man was extremely rude. I had over the amount of gas at check-in; he said we didn't. Another employee checked it and moved it to a level service, and agreed that it had the proper amount of gas. the check-in guy went out and they argued about it (talk about splitting hairs!) whether or not it had the proper amount of gas. Equipment was clean and ready to go. They also hook and unhook the trailer for you ! The 6 X 12 trailers are heavy ! Have rented from them several times and has always been good !
