I wanted to pickup in Westcliffe, Colorado, but Uhaul changed me to this rinky dink location! It took forever for the gal to figure out the website and get us checked in... I was hoping for credit since we turned in the truck a day early.

My app showed my suggested drop off at the majestic lube in Canon City Co a short walk from my house. I get there and now the app is showing this mercantile a I called the main number and spoke to grumpy who said my mandatory drop off was the mercantile not the suggested drop off that no one even called and asked if it would be ok. They just changed it asked for a supervisor, and she could see that it was changed and was reaching out to the guy to see why I was not called. She was to call me back, but never did. So I got charges 40 bucks extra, because I went over 6 miles and because of the angle tgat it was parked on and the extra driving was charge as the tank was now slightly lower than what it was at check out. The supervisor was going to pay for my uber( could not get one) and take care of the inconvenience and that was before I found out about the 40 bucks extra charge due to you folks changing locations, with out asking me as I had it back at majestic 30 minutes early. The thing that pissed me iff was the fact that the supervisor never called back and the fact that I was charged 40 bucks extra, due to your people not following your procedures. ( 6 miles and fuel). I would of been charged zero if I returned it to what was my drop off location You folks need to learn what is tge difference between a preferred drop off licatuon and what is man. I should be paid to move your trucks around for you. So as of now I'm still waiting for your supervisor to call be back to get this resolved

The clerk did not know that I had reserved the truck. She had difficulty dealing with the computer process of renting me the truck. Finally, when she figured it out, the key to the truck was in a locked box and the lock was NOT able to be opened by her or by anyone. She said that she had asked UHaul to please either fix or replace that lock, but that Uhaul had not done so. It took over two hours to finally get the truck key and take the truck. There was mud on the step and on the floor of the cab. I was so late that I had to take a motel room, so I was given an extra day for free, so I thank you for that.
