This was not the location I reserved, and I reserved well in advance to be able to have a nearby destination. We had to drive our personal vehicle well beyond our destination, and back, in order to pick up the vehicle. We were told we could return the vehicle to U-haul location of our choosing--wrong! Also, U-Haul encouraged me to pay online to save time. I paid online, in advance, showed my printed online receipt, and still had to give my card again. The proprietor told me I would have to track my own bills to make sure U-Haul didn't charge me twice.

Prunedale Auto Supply was awesome. I've dropped off twice there and they are always so friendly. Plus they have a large parking lot with plenty of space to get the truck parked easily.

This location charged me $70 for fuel they claimed I returned the truck with empty tank. I had such bad experience with customer service on the phone that I had a feeling this was going to happen so I took plenty of pictures to cover myself so I was able to prove I returned it with the correct amount of gas. The lady who helped me do the claim made it really easy.

There was an hour delay correcting problems that were caused by the corporate office. I was overcharged and told I will receive a refund in 5 business days.

I thought I was renting from Pats in Salinas which is less than 1 mile from the moving location, but was notified the day before I had to pick up in prundale. This was a hassle to arrange transportation. Would not recommend Pats Uhaul to anyone.

Not the most welcoming. Looks rough in the back. Was concerned about leaving the truck overnight. Glad I dropped it off during daylight. Staff was very helpful though when I called about dropping off on a holiday.

My initial reservation which was scheduled for pickup on 04/12 however I was notified that the 26’ truck was not available. I was stressed and a somewhat upset as I was moving into my new home and was not happy that my reservation could not be honored. After some confusion, I was assisted by two exceptional women. One, Michelle from the help line corporate scheduling who put me in contact with a second Uhaul station and with Mary who was extremely helpful and polite with me when after finding out that my initial reservation could not be honored. They both assisted to find me a comparable vehicle and with a discount for the trouble. What could have been poor service was completely turned around and great service saved the day!

Took an hour to get registered.. Problem with the computer system to headquarters. Your mileage charges are exhorbitant. I used a cargo van for 4 hours, 87 miles@ 89 cents/mile. Cost was $106. total. Next time will check with another company. Cargo van had very noisey rattle in the back which I could not find.

Give the poor guy better inventory. There was one truck in his lot when we pulled in. Didn't see any other equipment. Very pleasant guy and will do business with him again.

We reserved a uhaul at a gilroy location, once we arrived they said no uhaul was available. We had to drive 20+ miles on out of our way. Our entire day was thrown off because of this!! And then when we get there they had trouble completing the transaction which took at least another hour!!! To make matters even worse it looks as if we were charged twice!! So inconvenient!

The staff was smoking in the store and next to the front door when you first walk in all you smell is smoke. The customer service was less than average. Everything in the store was covered in dust and spiderwebs. I would never go back here.
