Internet was not working at the location and the pick up process took almost 1 hour!! The person tried a few things to get the internet going but he could not. Finally he had to call U-haul and they helped out on the phone. It should be just a 5-10 minute transaction for pick up. The guy was helpful but fixing the internet wasn't his area of competence - the owner of place should have such basic things working.

Polite, efficient & pleasant. Tank full & vehicle clean ind in good shape. We didn't use online check-in which might have been faster. Some confusion about using the credit card used for reservation for billing or needing a card present.

Didn't get our 8am rental until 9:15 because one of Pullen's employees came in late. Overcharged for mileage and van return was not recorded for 3 days, they attempted to charge us almost $200 more than we owed. This was cleared up by UHaul, but only after 4 days of repeat phone calls. Will not use Pullens again.

We waited 45 minutes before we even started the rental process. Another co worker overslept which meant the person handling the rentals had to pump gas until the late coworkers arrival. There needs to be a better system in place.

This was absolutely the worst experience. The KID who rented out our truck messed up our online check out and we had to restart the whole process. So much for fast and easy online check out. We returned the truck the same day and gave the same CHILD the keys. He said we were good to go and took everything back. A week later uhaul contacted me and said they never recieved the truck but. And here we are TWO MONTHS later and now uhaul/ the garage is trying to process the transaction. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. And yes, I would like a response and a refund for all the trouble Pullens Garage has put us through.

(1) UHaul initially directed me to a defunct location and did not correct until relatively last-minute (2) I was told to pick up supplies from this location, but it didn't have supplies and I needed to find a corporate oulet (3) They didn't have a rep on hand when I showed up, so there was a 30 min delay waiting for arrival. (4) The truck was labeled as "20 foot" or "26 foot" in different places (truck bed vs cab visor) (5) But for the most part they were good, and everything went smoothly.

Despite the great ease of the U-HAUL app (searching, booking, approval, etc), the pick-up location appeared decades behind. Once approved on the app, I was instructed to essentially skip the line and get my key. As I approached the counter, I was told to sit down and wait as “the U-HAUL guy” wouldn’t be back for 10-15 minutes. The waiting room of Pullen’s Garage was filthy and the lot was congested, filled with (non U-HAUL) vehicles in disrepair. Overall, my U-HAUL experience once I was in the truck was good, but I think some consideration needs to be given to which locations should be allowed to bear the company name and offer the services if they can’t keep up with modern technology.

The truck we came to pick up using the phone pickup method was driven off by another couple as I was going through the process on my phone. We then had to work with the uhaul rep to get a different truck, which took a long time. The truck we received had loose dog food rolling around behind the passenger seat. The location has broken down cars and car parts all over.

The l’ovation itself was fine. Service was fine. HOWEVER... I went to two other locations before being sent to this 3rd l’ovation for pick-up. I was NOT informed in advance of arriving if changes in location. I spent a total of 73 minutes on the phone with various people from UHAUL. Your poorly run, uninformed team we’re ill-equipped to help.

I've rented three trucks in the last three days and every time I rented a truck I waited more than 30 minutes for someone to be available to help me. The first rental was the worst, I had confirmed the rental on line and went to pick up the truck at 8:30. I didn't leave with the truck until 10:10 that morning!

I reserved the truck for 12:30 pickup, it wasn't ready. I reserved 1/2 doz. moving blankets, they didn't have any (had to go out of my way and spend 50 bucks and buy them) reserved a furniture dolly, they didn't have even one (again had to buy one for 46 bucks) so no equipment for the move cost me an hours time plus a couple miles at .99 cents and gas plus the 96 bucks for the purchase of equipment I will not use again for years! Disappointing at best.

The truck had just been returned and it was immediately released to us. The truck had excessive scratches, nicks, dents and dings. We had a 7 hour trip ahead of us and one hour into the trip the check engine light went on and we had to stop and wait over an hour for someone to come out and check it. The truck NEEDS maintenance! First time we had to get gas on the interstate and the gas was splashing out from underneath the truck! SO DANGEROUS! The gas attendants had to come out an clean it up to prevent a hazard. The second time we got gas it happened AGAIN! While parked on our NEW concrete driveway the truck leaked TWO SPOTS on our driveway and it does not come out! When we returned the truck to the Midlothian location the man told us to let UHAUL know about the issues. THE TRUCK NEEDS SERVICE. If Uhaul does not compensate for our stained driveway we will never use Uhaul again and will give our business to Penske!

keep you inventory records up to date and accurate. I went to Brunswick Ave location in Trenton NJ to pickup my rental which I had reserved and it was out of service due to damage but your records said it was available. Thankfully they sent me to Pullen's Garage on Quakerbridge Road where they took car of me.

You guys managed to relocate my selected location twice and waited to do either of these changes until the NIGHT BEFORE my move. I made the rental over a week in advance. Both of your changes involved added 20-40 miles to my trip EACH WAY to get the truck. You also didn't refund me 12$ on my truck because I returned it below the estimated mileage for the day. Your service is atrocious.

The facility itself was fine and those who were there were friendly and would have helped if they could. However, there was only one U-Haul individual. Our reservation was for 4:30, and we arrived at 4:35. We were told the U-Haul rep had to go pick up someone from the train. We didn't get helped until after 5PM. That was a bit ridiculous, in my opinion. Once he was there to help us, he was great. However, it was a waste of 30 minutes of my time.
