Kyle Kinney at the Pump and Pack in St Mary's Ohio was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. I will use the Pump and Pack again for my U-Haul needs. I will recommend them as well to my friends and family.

I am on a fixed income and moved to a different state. I was told that if I returned the Uhaul trailer a day early I would receive a credit for that day not used. However when I returned it 26 hours early to the new state I moved to, I was told that was not true. Shame on you for stealing from a disabled person. I will never use Uhaul again.

Originally made reservation with in auto body shop in St. Mary’s OH. Arrived a day early and shop had not yet picked up the trailer from another location. I went to other location, a convenience store/gas station to pick up the trailer. No assistance or safety checks by personnel. They just verified my reservation and pointed me to where the trailer was parked. They never came outside the store, looked at my vehicle or helped me hook up. I had a problem with the safety chains since they would not fit on my hitch and went to the original location to have them adjusted. Staff at the body shop were very polite and helpful and got me on my way.

It seem to me they need more training. I made the reservation for the trailer on line and I got there to pick up the trailer they did not know what was going on they said it was because I was late I checked in and told them that I was running and hour late they said ok then it was who are you and after 20min she said just take the trailer and go

Personnel here are hit and miss on uhaul. They did not check me in and got call a week later on trailer. All okay but it is a 7-11 type store luhaul not main focus

when we went to turn in the truck the person didn't speak English, didn't know how to check in the truck. so we have no idea if the charges that hit our bank were accurate. we received an email 3 days later stating charges but whether they were accurate is anybody's guess! very bad way to deal business!

I would only recommend this location because the next closest one is 20 miles away. That's an important consideration when you're paying by the mile. The truck was very dirty on the inside with dried mud and the rental contract from the previous customer was still inside. The clerk who provided the truck for me recorded the incorrect mileage so when I returned it later that day the odometer showed less miles on the truck than what I supposedly started with. The clerk and I both verified the ending mileage. After he talked to his manager he told me I would be billed for 30 miles which is the mileage I estimated I would use when I reserved the truck. However, when I received the email detailing the charges I had been billed for 61 miles. I used Google maps to get a better idea of the actual mileage I used and came up with 48 miles. I don't think it's worth my time haggling over 10 dollars or so but I don't appreciate being told one thing and having another done. Uhaul is a good company and the equipment worked fine for my need. Hopefully this was an isolated occurrence.

I called and checked prior to pickup, and on day of pickup they were unable to locate connection wires to connect trailer lights to my vehicle. They did not try to call other uhauls to try to locate one for me. Called uhaul number and they said they had wire at Celina Uhaul, so I could pick the wire up there. Had to drive 15 minutes with no trailer lights in the rain to get there. They were not open! Called Uhaul, and they said sorry... had to drive another 5 minutes to Walmart and buy my own connecting wire that runs from the trailer to my vehicle, assemble it myself, and meanwhile I’m now an hour behind schedule because the Uhaul place in St Mary’s Ohio failed to check the trailer prior to my arrival for pick up. When I returned the trailer that evening, and explained to the new clerk what had happened, I was told “sorry.” How about a reimbursement for the 5.99 wire I had to purchase and 25% off my rental since I had to do your job for you. I was moving my son from college to come home to help me take care of my terminally ill wife (his Mom), who is on hospice, had to bring in my sister from 2.5 hours away (Indianapolis), and she needed to go back to Indy that same evening after the move. I usually don’t ever complain to a corporation about issues, but my time was super valuable that day. It was one more hour that I did not get to spend with my wife because an employee was too lazy to properly check in the trailer from the previous renter. So when I brought the trailer back, the clerk was unable to print me a receipt....zero surprises there either. Did they come out and check the trailer then?.... Of course not, so I guarantee the next person who rents a trailer from them will have the same issue.
