Absolutely terrible pick up location! The sale associate SIGNED THE CONTRACT forging my signature and charged us for the collision coverage without telling me for even asking if we wanted it. He also told me "anyone can drive to vehicle, didn't matter is their name was on the file". I then had to call customer service to clarify and of course they advised me he was incorrect. The vehicle itself was is terrible condition, tons of knicks and scratches, the inside of the 10' box was filthy, clearly not even swept and the windshield wiper and window on the passengers side was broken. I am absolutely appalled at the service and will NEVER be using this secondary pick up location again and Uhaul would be very smart to review and reprimanded this location. Not sure the sales associate is aware or understands the gravity of forging someone's signature on a legal document....

They did not do a pre inspection, check engine light was on, tighten gas cap came on, when inspected when I pulled over, I noticed there was no gas cap and they had shoved tissue paper in place. I have a photo. I returned The Vehicle and they still charged me and wanted to charge me for gas as well. Which couldn't happen as I didnf Want to pick out tissue paper

Make sure the truck is cleaned, and that everything works. The window wipers stoped working halfway through the journey. It was super unsafe.

Location was amazing.. takes a minute to get used to driving a big truck and this quiet location gives you that .

They charged us extra after putting my credit card they didn't charge me they charged my boyfriend in person and they charged him more than what they supposed to. And the cabin was not clean.

The check-in process was not smooth. Apparently the website was down when I went to pick up the truck. The attendant did as best he could to expedite the process.

The vendor is not keeping the unit in proper running order. The parking brake latch is broken and difficult to use. The rear door cable is badly frayed. Spoke with the vendor about ensuring their equipment is kept in proper running order.

Charged 34$ fuel surcharge, left the fuel gauge the same as I found it. Absolutely a rip off. Will never use uhaul again. For $34 you lost a customer who would usually rent once a month.

After i return the truck, I found out that i leave my wallet inside the car, I try to call the location and contact U-haul but i couldnt find anyone, after more then 10 times of calling the location, they finally pick up the phone, I tell them about the situation and the staff say give me a call back in 5 mins but they never call back and not pick up the phone anymore.

Start by having someone who looks at the gas level properly and inputs the right reading. Vehicle was parked in a steep grade showing lower than what was in the tank. Brought it back with more gas than was in the vehicle to begin with but the rep argued with me about it.

This is NOT a review of the proprietor of the retail outlet, but of the TRUCK we were assigned. We live in Vancouver, Canada - the weather was snowy with more coming. The truck was equipped with only all seasons and as we found out later, both rear tires were bald. The proprietor couldn't help us and directed us to the 1-800 number. Roadside assist service had us send a picture of the tires while holding a penny in a tread to gauge the wear. It was agreed that the truck was dangerous to drive. Many hours later, and probably as soon as they were able to, a service truck arrived and installed new all season tires. It was drivable, but snowies def should have been used.

The only issue have is I haven't seen the final invoice from UHaul for my rental of the van. I was told it would be sent later that day…still haven't seen it 2 days later.

I'm being charged for Gas but I filled it back to the exact location I look it from. The store won't credit me back. The truck is parked on a hill and that could throw off how much gas is actually on the tank. Nothing concerns were expressed to me after the rep checked the vehicle.

The gas fill policy on return by U-Haul is very confusing. This is my third time. All the groud staff are exercent. No complain about the equipment either. If you underfill the tank, there is a heavy penelty. So I alway over filled the gas tank on return. They always asked you to fill the gas to the level either half full or 3/4 full. I guess almost no body can do that. Do not know if this is their strategy to make extra dollars. Wish they can change the policy to fill the gas tank on return to the full level. Then my rating on them will be 5 *.

Clean inside of cab. Wash the outside. Supply a lock for rear door. Fix the driver side door so that is closes properly.

Everything was fine until I finished using the truck. After signing out of my reservation online, I tried to lock the keys in the truck and the back rolldown door wouldn't close all the way (due to the guide wire somehow becoming tangled as it rolled down) I tried to call uhaul roadside assistance but after being on hold for half an hour,was disconnected before I received any instruction on what to do. The staff member never called back, and although I did call back, I wasn't able to wait on hold as it was 9 pm at this point and my child needed to be in bed. I called the nearest U-Haul location that had actual U-Haul staff the next morning and asked if I could bring the keys there instead. The person I spoke to on the phone said yes. I went to the location and returned the keys, and simultaneously received a phonecall from a U-Haul employee who explained that there was some kind of mix up, but I should leave they keys there and the manager would get them to the right place. The manager of that location (North Vancouver) proceeded to try and stop me from leaving, saying I needed to drive the keys over there myself over and over. I tried to leave and he chased me into the parking lot. I explained that I was supposed to be going to Chilliwack right now and camping multiple times, but it wasn't until after he had chased me into the parking lot and I full on yelled and got in my car that I was able to leave. Extremely upset about this situation and the lack of customer support. All I was trying to do was return the keys and it was nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone or get correct information.
