We had to buy a mirror for the passenger side to see traffic since this truck was missing one. When I returned the truck the lady said her system was down and couldn't print a receipt. I went to the other store to return rugs 2 miles down the road. They told me system was not down and called the manager of this store and made notes on my account. I still haven't received a receipt and no one answers the phone at this location. Will not rent from this store again.Sharon R.

Unfortunately, there were several issues. One issue was that the truck did not have any windshield wipers. I stopped at a garage and had some new windshield wipers installed. Secondly, the transmission needs to be checked. The truck just ran rough. I put some high octane gas in the truck and it seemed to help but I am wondering at over 130 000 miles, if the truck has seen better days? One of the biggest problems at this location was that the clerk was having to run the store, do all the u-haul services, etc. That may work if it's not busy but if you get a few customers, it becomes much harder to pull off. This was the fourth u-haul location I had to go to get a truck. The first location in Rincon, Georgia didn't have the truck I needed on the day I needed it so I was transferred to Port Wentworth, Georgia. We went to Port Wentworth and the store was closed. I called the store but there was no way to leave a message. Then I went to nearby Garden City, Georgia. The people there were very helpful and friendly but did not have the truck I needed, which led to the location on Ogeechee Road in Savannah. This was not a good experience.Ralph L.
The location wasn't the problem. Picking up the truck was a PAIN via the online pickup option. It would have been faster to just stand in line. The wrong dolly was in the truck, but the sales person fixed that easily.Richard C.

cargo van smelled and pet hair in the seat, and surfaces were sticky. The check tire light was on, so I couldn't get a read on the odometer for longer than 4 seconds. Parking lot had several puddles of water around the rentals. The u-haul 24-7 app was very clunky. Had trouble determining if my pics loaded.Kevin G.

I almost did not get a truck and almost had my entire scheduled move ruined. At my original pickup location, I called in advance to ensure they had my truck and they said they did. The truck had a completely blown tire and I was told I'd have to go to the next state over to get a truck. I only had an hour left before my moving labor was scheduled at this point. We had to repeatedly complain to the clerk at this location before they miraculously found a truck nearby. After the extreme undue stress they caused me, I will never use uhaul again.MaryE D.

The location was a private stop & go location, but the use of the text and being able to quickly review documents and approve made things move smoothly so I was in and out in minutes.Bryan G.
The truck wasn't ready when we came to pick it up and it took approximately 45 minutes to get the truck. There was a trailer attached to the truck that we had to take off. A domestic violence situation between other customers broke out while we were there and it was just an all-around unpleasant experience.Nathaniel A.

After I turned in my truck no one checked it out I Departed the returned building and the three people work in there just stayed in the building I had filled the truck up with gas Saline to the point we're at Weis when I got it and you charge me 12 more dollars that's sad you charge my mother-in-law's credit card which she is 85 years old on a limited income. Please refund her $12 because the truck was clean has swept out when I brought it back which it wasn't when I got it I have pictures of the truck please return her $12. I will post this on social media and my dissatisfaction of your service.Joseph S.

Make sure all your equipment is there at pick up! We were told we could pick up a dolly at another location and when we arrived we were told we would have to purchase one that none were available. Rude customer service in person and via chat. Was disconnected several times when addressing our issue. And still was charged for equipment we never received. And always issues with the app.Carl M.

I picked up a truck on 12/27/21 and didn't notice anything wrong that day as we only drove a few miles to the storage location. We started an 800 miles road trip the next day and I noticed major problems with the truck:1) the AC did not work, which was unpleasant as it was an unusually warm Dec. day 2) the horn did not work either, which almost caused me to be involved in an accident as I was not able to warn another vehicle of a dangerous situation 3) the timing was in bad need of tune up as, during any acceleration, one could hear a bad clicking noise coming from the engine. I called a Manager to complaint and asked for a refund or at least of significant credit on my rental as this was not up to the UHaul standards (I know as I have rented from you on multiple occasions with total satisfaction). He said he could not do anything until the truck was returned, which it was in Easton/MD on 12/29/21. I am still waiting for a call to further discussFRANCOIS G.

The UHAUL business was secondary to their primary so had to wait while others were served. This was my second stop to pick up the truck since the first did not have what I reserved. Had to make a third stop to pick up a dolly.MICHAEL H.
I rented a Uhaul online and purchased equipment (dollys and funiture pads). I also paid for the mover that was provided through the website. Move in day comes, I pick up the truck the equipment is not provided, the man had me repay for equipment even though I told him I did on the website(all he had was one dolly). It's 2 o'clock(the time I have the movers to come) no one shows up. I'm in destress. No one is answering or taking my calls. I have to find another mover for the next day because no one is available. Then I was charged over $100 because I brought the truck back the next day(I didn't have a choice!) I will NEVER use uhaul to move and I will tell anyone else moving do not use this company.ALEXIS M.

I got a flat tire on my trip. I called uhaul roadside service and was told I could take it to the nearest location to drop off, because the wait for roadside service was 3 hours. I did EXACTLY what I was told to do, and I got charged $150 for the repair bill. Such has bullshit and poorest customer service and business ethics I've ever seenPATRICK H.

I am very unhappy that the vehicle I reserved was not available when I arrived. I specifically went to this location because when I booked it said this location had the size vehicle I wanted and actually had a $50 guarantee. When I arrived the clerk told me that their was nothing he could do and I had to rent a larger truck and pay a higher price. I do rent trucks from you from Time to Time but things like this make we think it's time to go to your competitors when I need a vehicle like this. When I asked about the $50 guarantee the clerk said there is no such thing. I showed him it on my phone and he said he never heard of that and demanded I cancel my original reservation or he wouldn't give me a truck. Just a very frustrating situation all around.Scott C.

The man that i turned the truck back to was very rude and would not answer my questions. I was told when i rented the truck that if I didn't use all the boxes that I bought at the pick up site I could get credit when i turned the truck in with the extra boxes. The rude clerk at the drop off site told me they don't credit the unused boxes back to the clients and ignored me when i ask who i could talk to about this, i will never use this location again! Received text to drop off truck at 5548 Ogeechee road, no Uhaul at this address. Found 4801ogeechee thru search. There was another perso dropping off truck that received the same above information.WALTER M.
Upon arrival, there were no other UHaul vehicles or signs visible - just a run-down corner gas station that looked closed. We tried to call to confirm the location but they did not answer the phone. Finally, I saw a small, Uhaul keybox attached to the propane tank rental box, so I went inside. The person behind the counter did not seem to notice or care that I came inside. Once I got his attention, he said that I needed to take a picture of the mileage and fuel level on the truck and bring him the key. I told him I was using the self-checkout process and he seemed annoyed. I went through the self-checkout steps as instructed and the last step said to leave the keys in the Uhaul keybox, so I did. This annoyed the person inside even more. He said rudely "I told you to bring me the key" and was upset that he had to find his key to the Uhaul lock box and retrieve the key.Jeffrey N.

The truck had to be jump started when I picked it up from the u haul location. Then roadside assistance had to called out to my home where we were loading the truck because it would not start. This placed me several hours behind schedule, resulting in myself having to reschedule the unloaders at my destination.Marcus B.

As a Quick-Stop, it had the one guy behind the counter. He did not look at the truck or do anything to verify the fuel was full, identify any damage, or verify I returned the blankets. It was not a bad experience, but practically a non-experience. All previous returns involved a process that did not occur here.Ernest H.

random parking lot, NO assistance at all from store employee. A stranger/little black gentleman came over to finally help us disconnect the 6 x 12 trailer and hurt his back! we left very dissatisfied and will not think of Uhaul for the next rental sadly.RAndy S.

The clerk was friendly and I got in and out on the pickup and return with no hassle. I would use them again and recommend them. However, I had to use the restroom while there and it was so...dirty, that I can't give this location any higher than 3 stars.Scott B.

Store was in a very bad neighborhood. Would not go there again. Staff was horrible. 1st: the ONLY person working in the store told me he had no idea how to process a U-haul contract. He was alone in the store. He had to call the owners wife, who screamed at him over the phone. 2ed: it took us 2 hours to actually get the truck, putting us behind schedule for our 2ed truck pick up. 3rd: our reservations were changed 3 times from the original pick-up location. 4th: we HAD reservations....so the pick up location should have known there was a reservation, therefore.... the pick-up location SHOULD have had a knowledgeable employee on-site, at least until our scheduled pickup time. 0/10 will NOT reccomend nor neal with this location again.Tanada C.
If the location isn't available until 9am, but it is a location open outside of those hours, a dedicated person should be available for check out. I did not get my requested truck size, my requested location, nor my requested time? What's the point of the reservation. Even worse I still had to drive down the street to pick up pads and a dolly from the actual uHaul location since this location didn't have any. The inside of the truck was filthy and not cleaned out.Jennifer D.
My appt was at 1130. 1St uhaul wouldn't start. The lady that was assisting me left the store without saying anything. The guy behind the counter did not know how to transfer the appt to another truck. I was there for nearly two hours only for the 2nd uhaul agent was able to tell them to give me the other truck(exact same size) that was outside and available. Very rude and disorganized. I waited in the store for 45 mins because I reserved a Dooley and they didn't have one at this location. Owner of the store said, â€œThat's her problem.â€ When I returned the truck the cashier rung up ten people before she would check the truck back in. I was clearly in line first. She yelled and tried to argue with me. This place makes U-Haul look BAD!!!!!! Not to mention after I waited 45 mins the dolley was in the back of the truck. Truck had no gas in it. NEVER AGAIN! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!Ariel R.
