The uhaul I was given sounded like it was going to explode at any given moment. During a slow acceleration the gear shift stick made a loud pop and went into neutral without having been touched. After that happened it was put into the correct gear (drive) and there was an intense burning of rubber smell through the cabin for a few minutes. The engine made all kinds of scary sounds that had me hoping it wouldn't just die or even worse blow up at any moment. This truck needs to be checked by a mechanic before letting anyone else drive this truck. It was nerve racking.Samuel E.

They charged me for an extra day I didn't use. Truly a hassle when I use uhaul for all my move as I'm a single woman with no help. Took days for someone to call and see what's happening and still no return follow up to say they at least fix the situation. Before it was such a easy process but this time not so and I'm disappointed â˜¹ï¸jerrica C.
The truck was not clean and ran poorly. The staff were friendly and helpful, however I was expecting a post email since I over-estimated my mileage and, to date, have not heard or seen anything. My experience - I will never rent from U-haul againdavid K.

I was over charged for my milage, I was told it's 20cent per mile I was charged $1. The owner of the laundry mat was very rude. And wouldn't let me screenshot the milage meter slammed the door and locked it on me. I had to clean the inside out myselfLEONDRA W.

This is the worst rental experience I have ever had. 1. The original place where I was supposed to pickup my rental truck was changed, that added 30+ minutes of my drive time and miles 2. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 8:30am and the truck key was placed in a black key box ,Even though the lock code was given to me, the lock wouldn't open and I had to wait until 10am until the store manager showed up 3. I was cutoff 4 times when I was on the customer call during the above problem. 4. I booked for an appliance dolly and a utility dolly for which I was charged, but was missing in the truck and store 5. I booked for moving help through u-haul scheduled for 10am, and since I had issues with getting the key from the box, I was only able to start the moving 45 minutes late for which I was charged by the moving guys. 6. Even though I did not accept the bill charges, still my credit card was charged for the dollies and I was told by the u-haul manager that there will be a $50 credit for providing me the truck late, which wasn't done as promised. Overall, the truck rental was horrible and I would never rent a truck from u-haulKrishna P.

Online said open hours were 9am - 8pm, but they did not actually open until 10. When making the reservation, I was asked if I wanted to do on-line check in or counter. I chose counter since we needed a furniture mover. Location did not have the trailer we were looking for and the truck we got was really too small for us.RAYNOLD S.
I did not, originally, rent from this location. Uhaul changed my pick up to this location (45 mins away from my original location) the day before pickup. After flying in from the north east specifically to get a truck this was inconvenient, to say the least. Moreover, none of the equipment (pads, dollies, etc) were present with the truck. Upon attempting to verify the equipment via the prerental link sent by uhaul my reservation was not found. Upon reciept of my contract I saw i was billed more than what was quoted. I rented a truck for $39 Dollars. I only drove 10 miles round trip. I used the truck after hours. When asked how long I needed the truck, I responded and said I would be done around 10. I was told that it would be ok, as long as I had it back in before the next business day. When I turned it in, I was charged an additional $26. $100 dollars was already being held. Why was I charged $126 for a local job that didn't even go over 10 miles? Plus the back of the truck had trash in it when I picked it up. This was an overall unacceptable experience.SATCHEL K.

The pick up time was set for 930. I decided to get there around 1000am. Nobody was at the store when i arrived. After 30 minutes waiting and talking to a Uhaul representative, the â€œrepâ€ told me to go to a lockbox to retrieve the key. Well, no key was available at the lockbox. After 45 min of me waiting outside the store an employee showed up. The funny part is that i rented the truck for 24hrs and i receive an email that the equipment had to be returned at 0930 of the next day which it was not 24hrs due to the late retrieval of the equipment. I scheduled online and was told that I could pick-up at 6:45 because they rent up to 15mins. Before closure. Iarrived about 6:30..I could not find the location because there is a small U-Haul sign in the window of a laundromat. I asked a man leaving the laundromat where was the U'Haul. He said it was him but he was leaving. I showed him my reservation for 6:45...to make a long story short, he reopened, I was entering behind him, he did not hold the door, the truck was not sweep, he gave me the keys, did not discuss gas, mileage or anything about the truck.
