MARK DI drove 67 miles and somehow that took 11 gallons to fill back to full.

LORI LDelivery of correct equipment not what you have on hand
NICHOLAS DU-haul needs to start honoring Tax exempt status. when called and asked for assistance on this matter, U-haul refused to honor the Tax exempt status simply because it was not put in when the vehicle was checked out. every other place will help sort it out and assist the customer with this, it is simply unacceptable for them to simply refuse to assist. Makes organizations with tax exemptions want to avoid businesses like this. why would you want to push away customers?!
ZACHARY CVery pleasant experience in both checking out and checking back in. Customer service was exceptional! Trailer served its purpose and was low cost.
Jane DUhaul's problem is that the website overpromises and underdelivers. Got an email the day before my move that the only available trailer I "reserved" and "ordered" was 50 miles away from the location I specified. Huge wrench in my moving plans the day before. Then I had to drive to two more uhaul locations to find one with a dolly to rent. Really a terrible experience overall.

CHERYL LOne clerk seemed to know what was going on, but another seemed confused. Also, I had questions about what type of gas was needed, the tow/haul caution light and a few other things, which the one clerk had no idea what I was talking about. Truck jerked the entire time I had it, otherwise clean.

JEFF DWell first off, I had all my documents on email and paper. Couldn't find any of my info in the system? Second, I filled the truck all the way up and still got charged. I have the picture of it a long with the miles. But says I only filled it to 3/4 of a tank? Never specified where I wanted a drop off location, so after I rented, I couldn't bring it back to where I originally came without any more info from front counter. Was a mess
Kody TTruck was in awful shape and had not been cleaned at all. Brakes shoot violently and tires squeezed when getting up over 30mph. I did not feel safe in the truck
Eugene H$52 for 1 day extension $52 fine for being 70 miles over prediction, didnt ask for an exact number either. I drove 250 miles so at 21 miles per gallon $50 to half tank and the 0,67 cent per mile $250. This was terrible. $100 fee to drop it off at a closer location to my drop off, which might have broken company policy, who knows, cause they didnt.

Esther OThe vehicle had 50 miles over what was in the system. I was told it will be corrected before I return vehicle. When I did return the issue was now addressed. I was charged for the 50 miles. Still waiting on refund also the vehicle swerved a lot and windshield wiper stopped working. The door on the passenger side was broken. Just a horrible experience. The lady working there was very nice though

Martin WI was unable to do mobile check in because the location on my phone was "wrong" even though I was in the right location. Also doing mobile drop off wasn't very thorough so I went to the counter and I'm glad I did she told us we need to take a photo of the gas and miles which we didn't know.
Abraham RI picked up the U-Haul up with a 1/4 tank of gas. I brought it back with 7/8 full tank and they did not give me my money back for the difference! Bush league

CASSANDRA FWe were quoted 99 cents per mile when we made the reservation on Friday. We were charged 1,29 when we picked the truck up the next day. You should charge the quoted price.

mark kThe agent that rented the truck advised I just needed to return the truck by 8pm before close and there would be no issue. I returned the truck before 7:30 and was charged 30 instead of 15 for Safe Trip as per my rental contract. Very disappointing.
JACOB VGood rental. Only improvement could be a few more up-front instructions; like which truck more specifically or where the truck numbers are; instructions about the blankets and fueling. Otherwise, really good rental.

John HI was contacted at the last minute by customer service there would be a change in our itinerary. I ordered a 26 foot truck with 2 utility dollies and 2 furniture dollies . We were there picking up already and had movers ready to come. They said we could pick up a 26 foot truck up in st micheal or rent a 15 foot truck from ralphies. We opted for the 15 foot truck got charged for the 26 foot truck. They had only one dolly and no furniture dollies. The customer in front of us got the last one. If we request dollies at a pick up site they should be reserved for the customer as well . MOVING IS ALREADY STRESSFULL to add the extra stops and not getting the proper equipment available was not helpful.
Christine BWe picked up the truck and thankfully, before we drove off the lot, my husband decided to check the back and found it was frozen and we could not open the door. The staff tried to break the ice but no such luck. Same thing with a 2nd truck but truck #3 was the ticket. I am grateful we checked to see if we could open the doors before going on our way! The staff could not have been nicer!!

Daniel SMy u haul was set for world class auto body drop off which was wrong. then I called the u haul number and the lady on the phone was really nice and helped me out and switched it to ralphies then the lady at ralphies was complaining about how she doesn't have room for another trailer when the lot was huge and they only had 1 other trailer. By far the worst experience with u haul.

Jamie GIt's not the location's fault but i got charged an extra day and shouldnt have been because i did not depart at 12:30 on the day we picked it up, see my comments over there, i had to drive all over WI to get the trailer/ dolly. I think i should not be charged for returing at 2 pm which is what my dropoff was changed to versus 1 PM. which we didn't even get out of CLayton WI until 1:30. Half hour and i get charged extra day, well what about all the gas money i spent driving around because your inventory was wrong?

Greg CThe only issue was the disclosure of damage photos. The pictures provided from uhaul showed no damage n a rock with a different bumper. The truck I rented had a small amount of damage on every body panel.
Ethan FRental was dirty and obviously not cleaned before rental, water bottles in the doors, trash stuffed in the walls in back, and leaves and dirt on the floor.

Polly MWe rented a 6'x12' trailer online. When we got there to pick it up it was gone. Some other customer had wrongly take it instead of the one they should have. The only other option was a 27' truck. I think we should have gotten some kind of a discount for the mix up but we didn't.
