I was overcharged $12,65 fuel charge of 2 gallons on my return U-Haul receipt. I am asking for a refund of the $12.65. On April 2, 2022, at 12:11 pm, I checked out U-Haul truck TT 3941E. The merchant stated that the gas gauge was slightly above the 1/2 mark, and the 7/16 mark was the closest to where the gauge marker was. And she stated that I needed to fill the gas tank back just a little above the 1/2 mark. On April 2, 2022, at 4:37 pm, I returned the truck. Before returning the truck, I put $22 worth of gas in the truck. Adding gas brought the gas gauge to the point it was at pick up. I have pictures with the date and time stamp of the truck gas gauge at time of pick up and drop off. The two pictures' gas gauges look identical. And my 28-year-old son was present during this transaction and can verify this claim.

Made reservation 3 weeks in advance, day before told had to pickup at those location which opens 30 minutes later than original location which was more convenient. Called this location day before to confirm and got a lady who was new to job. We arrive at 920am and did not get out of there until 11am! Out movers were coming at 11am!Lady did not know how to change the paperwork from my name to husband's without system kicking her out. Had to call for assistance. They walked her through but couldn't get printout. Then was told we couldn't drop truck at location most convenient for us! Also when my husband got in truck the check engine light came on. He called regional manager and she told him to take it to a mechanic to look at!! Wouldn't give us another truck. Mechanic said it was catalytic converter but he should make it to Florida! This has been the worst experience ever with UHaul!!!

Truck was returned the same day before the end of 4 hours, but I was charged for a 2 day rental. When I called the location they advised they couldn't help me or verify when the truck was turned in. I've currently been on hold with uhaul for 14 mins trying to get some assistance .

The attendant was very nice and polite, but admitted to being untrained and not able to help. She took the keys, wrote down the mileage, and told me someone would check the truck in the following day and call me. When I got the call, I was notified that I was charged for an extra day, even though I returned the truck one day earlier than the contract required. The person on the phone made it clear that she represented a third party and that any issues regarding the contract was between Uhaul and me. Since I returned the truck to a location displaying a Uhaul sign, I thought I was dealing with a Uhaul-affiliated establishment. I will check out Budget, Penske and whoever else is out there first the next time I need to rent a truck.

They overcharged me for gas. Then I called I haul and they stated a refund would come within business days but never did. Overcharged $40 & will use Penske going forward.

The person on duty did the best she could but was untrained and working alone. She worked very hard to get us in the truck but it took over an hour because of her lack of training and working alone that day. I blame the management for this not the attendant.

I am a former Uhaul dealer. One month in my dealership history I was in the top 100 dealers system wide. My opinion is informed. The rental agent in Winston Salem was excellent. The truck was clean, the cab swept out, seats and dash wiped down, all the glass and mirrors clean. The young woman agent was cheerful and acomadateing. Did the walk around, made sure I was comfortable and sent me off with a cheerful "Be safe"! First class all around.

Nobody was present during the posted operating hours. The sign said you could leave the keys in a drop box but no drop box was present. Not very professional

Provide the proper access and training to the associates that would enable them to correct billing errors should they come up. The agent advised me that the only thing she could do was check the vehicle in and the billing system would do the rest. The system charged me for 3 extra days and another safe move coverage but I had already paid everything up front. When I turned the vehicle in, I was well within the mileage and the days and the truck was over the gas amount, clean and no damage. I was advised to contact the national call center and although they reversed the charges, I felt that this is something that should be handled on a local level.
