U-Haul called the day I dropped truck and said they had to move the truck to another location because there were "1 to many" trucks at that location. Weird.

Susan HolmanI didn't see any signs out front as to where to drop the key. I ended up going to the front desk of the hotel, which was the right choice. The woman behind the counter was very friendly. My only complaint is that I didn't see any signs telling me where to drop the key.

Really didn't know where to go to leave the trailer so I left it by the other trailers on the property. and hoped for the best. I will be renting a large truck for the move to Texas from Virginia. I know the drop-off there will be easy and accessible.
Jason StevensThe personnel behind the counter at this hotel are not trained in Uhaul. We were specifically told only the owner deals with Uhaul and to park it behind the building and it would get checked in when he was around next. I was then called twice the following day about it being late when it had been sitting at the location for 24 hrs. It still took 6 more hours before it was checked in and I received receipt.

Johnny BeamerThe truck is dangerous. Brakes pull to right. Left front tire bald on outside. It leaks water in cargo area. Spent $7 000 with uhaul bringing our stuff to Virginia into storage. Rented this an boxes got wet. Dangerous on wet road. Returned 9am the day before due back and since I returned 1 hour after original pickup time of 8am was charged for the extra day. Don't tell me I could have returned it for another one. MY TIMING WAS CRITICAL TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE HALF OF WHAT I WANTED TO USE THE TRUCK FO. Really insulted I was rented such a piece of junk. Tom

Carolyn ClementsThe drop off location was a motel, and the proprietor did not properly check in the U-Haul equipment that I returned, nor did he properly check in the equipment that I brought to Wytheville, Va as part of U-Haul's "Equipment Relocation Program". As a result, I literally had to go find the truck and tow dolly myself (2 days later) to insure they were properly checked in. Further, I still haven't been reimbursed for participating in U-Haul's "Equipment Relocation Program"; therefore, I have contacted the Better Business Bureau in my area to file a complaint. Hopefully, I'll never have to use U-Haul again.

I returned the vehicle one day late because of The drop off location didn't have any signs and we weren't sure whether to drop it off at that place or at the storage Unit close by lending Confusion. 20 years ago when I moved to the Virginia's u-haul was easy breezy and again I feel as if I was taking advantage of by the cancelation of the reservation and making a new reservation that was much higher in money

Harold MartinTook almost an hour to check out. Told me to hook up large trailer myself. Couldn't do it because way too heavy. Finally came with jack to assist in connecting to my vehicle. When returned no one there to check me back in. No help in disconnecting trailer. Still haven't gotten final bill and receipt for payment three days later. Other UHAUL dealers in area were excellent in previous transactions. Will never use this one again and will see to it that anyone I know doesn't either.
Phil TobelmannWhat you can improve for me, your current and up until now, a REPEAT customer, is to refund to me the sum of $55! Overcharge on the rental truck and the ridiculous "cleaning fee"! I refuse to pay for SOMEONE ELSE to have a clean truck when the one I had to accept was disgusting! I documented it when I picked it up! It is wrong to make me pay for that! Seriously wrong! I believe I'll be looking elsewhere for a truck. I am moving my MIL's household in a few weeks. 路♀️
Marcia ThomasThis is the 4th return to this location (I parked on level ground just as before with 5/8 of a tank and 250+ miles estimated range after I refueled before turn in). The person that I turned in to today drove the truck away and 5 minutes later showed me a picture of the gas gauge that showed less than 5/8, less than 240 miles estimated range, and said I owed $14 for additional fuel). I have NO idea whether he took a picture of the truck that I returned or parked on a grade that changed the fuel reading but I will dispute the charge). Also, I am ALWAYS overcharged for miles; my allowance for 155 miles is what I am charged for but I only use 131 miles or LESS. I will dispute the $14 charge.

The desk person was not avail to service us when arrived. we waited about 45 min for him to show up; when he showed up he was rude and acted like he was doing us a favor to service us. When truck returned, again he was not avail and had to wait 45 min for him to show up. Again he was rude and charged a $25 "cleaning fee" bec the blankets were not folded! U-Haul refunded our money.
