Putting the keys in the lock box and cleaning the trucks in the front and back. I even had pads in the back that I never asked or paid for which I told the dealer about and they just said said, bring them back. Probably about 50 pads or more, which were there inadvertently in exchange for such horrible service, and not only this time but time and time again.
Kyle Scherf ScherfActually make sure the lock box works for the customer and have the key inside. I waited an hour past my pickup time after being told the key would be in the lock box. Also my order was not complete as the utility dolly was not inside, and I was charged for something I did not approve. No call backs whatsoever when I left voicemails.

Anthony MosleyThe trailer was clean and serviceable, but the wiring harness extender from the trailer plug to the truck was broken in two pieces. The personnel at the location stated that they only got $3 per rental, so I should "just rig something up". Luckily, the other car trailer had the wiring harness and I was able to swap the broken one with the serviceable one. If there was no harness to swap, I would have been without a trailer or would have had to decide if it was worth running without lights on the trailer. Not acceptable for the amount it costs to rent.

DEDE MITCHELLThe running lights on the right side of trailer didn't work. Need to have jacks to make easier to hook up. Don was helpful in connecting trailer.
Sanford TooleI had asked for a dolly to help me out, but it was not in the truck and I had to do without. Also, the online Uhaul pickup system is more of a torture than a service. It took more than 15 minutes to complete while I was standing in the cold. The drop off was just as bad.

Darryl DillenbackI've rented trailers (and trucks) many times in the past 2-3 years from UHaul, and this is the first time that a staff person did not offer to hook up, or help to hook up, the trailer. I will not be using this location again.
JOSEPH RADIGANTrailer had a bald tire, electrical plug for lights was missing,the rubber piece on the hook was broke and the safety chains were wore over half way through.

Adam BlackThe equipment was very old and had rust holes through it. The rental facility did nothing to show me how to use the equipment. Equipment was sunk in the ground and could not be Jacked high enough to attach to my truck. When I asked for assistance, they said to Jack the equipment up. I stated it was at its highest point and still would not reach my truck. Only at that time did they come out and look at it and brought a jack with them to jack it up. I was very dissatisfied with their service and the condition of the equipment.
JC SmithThe crappy lock needs to be replaced. We ripped our fingers open trying to get the key. Park it in a dry location. We were ankle deep in mud and water while we tried the lock to get the key for over a half an hour.

Deborah HugginsTruck was on empty at pick-up. The lady behind the desk was slow. It took 30 minutes to get out the door. A utility dolly was placed on my contract when I did not receive one. This caused a problem during truck drop off. The truck was wobbly when driven over 30mph.

Charles LehmannWe spent over half an hour cleaning broken pallets and sticky mulch out of the back of the truck before we could use it. The previous users left it filthy. Which wouldn't have been an issue had we not been under a heat advisory. It was miserable. However, the company we rented it from made the process of renting extremely easy! But for what we paid it should have been clean!!

TOM EIBELThe trailer I got was poorly maintained. I had so many problems I ended up having to switch out trailers the next day. This put my whole trip behind by a day and caused me to have to pay for an extra day that was wasted trying to fix the rental.
MOrgan FasolakWe drove 3 HOURS to pick up in the truck TRUCK in ASHEBORO to find out IT WAS NOT AVAILABLE. This location in Asheboro ....I would NOT recommend it to a friend. I had called to confirm that morning (speaking to Traffic/Uhaul and to the original place in Biscoe, NC where I had requested the truck). UHaul stated they tried to call me at 11AM and could not reach me because they only had my house number, but I recall giving them my cell phone number as well. 11 AM was after I had already driven 2 hours! After spending another hour at Asheboro, I was told I had to drive another hour (out of my way) to Aberdeen, NC. The girl in Aberdeen was helpful and nice. This location was WAY out of my way and the whole UHaul experience was not pleasant. I would look into renting from someone else after my experience!
