Van was dirty in the cargo area, had spilled water allover and paper everywhere. It also only had 3/4 gas and I fill it every time with no refund! Washer fluid needs to be added and tire pressure is low on both sides

The guy at the front desk was awesome! He made the process very easy. He was efficient. He was effective in his communication. I would definitely come back if I ever have to use U-Haul again.

Clean the vehicles. Ensure tires are consistently inflated. Staff very nice. Get smell of marijuana out of store.

To not insist that I get the insurance on the van rental , as the agent lied and said it has to be added on my rental and can't be removed, which was a total lie as you can opt to not have it. And, as I did not want it nor could I afford it and he kept insisting that it must go on the rental . To only later I had to fight to tell higher ups about what happen with this, only to finally get it removed but it wasn't easy to even do that. I won't be returning to this location again thanks

The only compliant is they have an infestation of mice and droppings were super bad. The droppings were all through my belongings.

Ran into an e alert before renting the van was assisted with that alert got the bill payed, after that the renting process went very smooth.

Van smelled like marijuana, the smell didn't go away until close to 12 hours after pick up. The cargo bay was dirty, the cab was full of trash. Fuel light was on at pick up, I dropped off with half a tank. Tire pressure sensor is broken. Washer fluid was empty. If I had any extra time that day I would not have used that vehicle or location.

The good-looking man at the desk was very understanding and sooo helpful and patient....being that I was a first- time customer. I was apprehensive but that all went away..due to the way I was treated.

It was very easy to reserve the van online. However, when we went to pick up the van, no one was at the location, even though the hours on the website said it would be open. After about 20-25 minutes, someone finally came. Had we known this would be a problem, we would have used the mobile reservation. We didn't think we would have needed that. Otherwise, a positive experience.

The lady was so rude called me saying I didn’t return the truck and then even called my mother telling her I didn’t return the truck my boyfriend had to call to get this rude woman to calm down

Truck was off balance the breaks had to be floored in order for it to stop, had a noise coming from a tire it felt very unsafe to drive as it would swirl from side to side. Not secured at all, it needs servicing asap

They sent me off with a trailer stuck with the parking brake engaged. They did not know how to hook up their own trailer. When I called they left me stranded on the side of the road to fix it myself because roadside assistance never picked up the phone. When I called customer service they were negative and rude and declare my request for compensation to be something "which will never happen". When I recommended she not step out of line so much by telling me what a manager won't do when she is in no position to make such judgments she became oppositional and aggressive in asserting her claim. I then tried to call the self storage uhaul manager and never received a call back. Reading is a terrible place and this is no exception. Only rent here if you are escaping reading.

Nomar and his coworker went above and beyond to assist me with all of my uhaul needs, including boxes I needed. Thank you guys! I will continue to use this place again.

The truck was a piece of junk. The fan kept cutting out for the AC. The switch had a bad connection. Had to fiddle with it the entire 16 hour to an from. The tie wrap was cut on the blanket case. We did not use them do I should not be charged the $10. The driver side door was previously dented badly causing much air to leak into the cab making it very noisy. I will never rent a U-Haul again.

Employees were very helpful. Unfortunately, No one was in the office for about fifteen minutes when i returned my rental. All was good, though. All in all I would definitely rent from them again.

Renting and returning the truck was an easy process. Excellent customer service! Made my experience pleasurable. Would definitely recommend anyone I know to go to this location as well as myself if I'm in need again. Merci

The vehicle is very old and consumes gas. I was surprised to see that it consumed 10 gallons for a 79 mile trip. This vehicle should not be rented.

When we returned the cargo van, my husband was hauled out of it at gun point by the Reading police. They claimed the van was stolen. I showed the officer the rental forms while my husband sat in hand cuffs if the back of the police car. They wouldn't take my word that we didn't steal it. Turns out, someone put a plate on it from a stolen U Haul van. The one listed on the contract was not the one on the van. I will never rent from U Haul again. The van only had 17 500 miles on it, but it was beat up on the inside and burning oil. And the fact that my husband was held at gun point by the police when we returned it has definitely soured me to ever using U Haul again. They still had the nerve to charge me. The $19,95 price per day is a joke too. For four days and 80 miles, it cost me $230 plus the gas. Never again.

According to Sunday hours, that office is open from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm in the afternoon. I was there at 1:30 in the afternoon and nobody was in that office, I lost almost an hour of my time talking to a representative to be able to leave the truck, it was somewhat in bad taste ..

Teach your employees to be respectful. The guy asked if I know how to use my smart phone because "old" people usually don't. I'm in my 50s and even if I was older it's rude to assume I am incompetent. I design websites. Just because I'm oldER don't assume I don't know what I'm doing.

I reserved a truck AND TRAILER. I got a truck. Apparently no one had a trailer. So instead of like $100 to tow my car myself I had to spend hundreds to have it towed.

Need to let the customer know that not all trucks are available to them at certain location for one-way long distance when reservations is made to pick up at a certain location.

Thanks for the Death Trap experience: Rental Truck interior was filthy, looked like someone shook up a soda and popped the top. Dirty dishes under the seat. Head lights weren't' adjusted properly so no visibility beyond 10 feet. Try driving through the Appalachians at night with no head lights. Driver side head light literally fell out during transit. Warning light on dash. Bad brakes, Power steering failed at least once. Truck shook and shuddered going up hills even at much reduced speeds. The manager where I dropped the truck off was appalled that this truck was on the road. Overall I'm just glad to be alive.

The gentlemen that were there to help us when we picked the truck up were absolutely amazing!!!! They were awesome with helping us complete our order and bring the truck and dolly to us. Awesome customer service.
