I had to rent it with a young guy over the phone. He had to call his boss and his boss asked questions and the young man ask me. I had no idea what was happening! I have yet to find out what the actual cost was and they charged a 100$ deposit and took 8.$ and change out more. The truck 29,99+insurance 15.+milage 20$ = 65?? And tax... what's up with the rest of the cash?? It was a joke from the start with the hixson pike location not having my reservation on top of this. Not sure I'll ever rent again. A train wreck from the start.

JEFFERY RI booked the reservation for a different location originally, but because of availability I had to move it to this location the week of. I set my pickup time for 6:30. I called at 5pm to make sure everything was set up, and they told me they closed at 6. Luckily, I was able to get there beforehand, but I should have been called before to let me know. When I actually arrived, the person that helped me at the front desk had a terrible attitude. I would never recommend this location to anyone and I will not be returning.
CARLI LThey had no idea we were coming even though I called a day in advance. They didn't know if they had a truck available and when they figured out they did it was out of gas, so we had to wait for them to fill it up and when tney got back we realized it hadn't been cleaned and the whole bed was a wreck with someone's stuff. It took an extra hour to wait for them to get it together

Calvin SWhen I showed up at 9 o'clock the truck was not ready.I was told the truck had 7/8th of a tank but when I got in the truck it was less than half I took a picture and tried to show the Lady she just gave me a card and told me to this guy instead of her fixing it so I called the guy and he called me back I sent him the picture and he assured me that he would take care of it so when I turned the truck in Nashville I was charged a extra 20 dollars for fuel I tried to contact the guy in Chattanooga and of course he never returned My call so long story short the rates were great but everything else sucked. I will not use u- haul again.
Christopher GFemale customer service representative was very unprofessional, disorganized and rude. Her printer did not work therefore I do not have an actual receipt. I was quoted 137 plus fees a d taxes. Grand total was 193,06 路♀️ I even hear her say "wish I didn't come in to work today" while she was checking us out.
Olivia GI had to return this trailer to the Hixon location and pick up another. Lights on first trailer did not work. But at both location the people were very nice.

The online experience was great, being able to upload pictures and do everything online was really convenient. I'll definitely use the service again, just a different location.

Karen CCheck the item in when it is returned. The man told me he would do this but apparently did not because I was called on Monday by another center asking about it. I had to beg for someone to come outside to see it. I should have received a receipt of returned trailer instead of nothing. I wish we had hooked it back up and taken it elsewhere. I would never use this location again.

Richard GEverything went well except the guy hooking the trailer up. He didn't know how to do the chains he had them dragging. He didn't even hook the lights up. I drove it home and realized the lights weren't hooked up.
Glen HAssociate who was supposed to attach trailer was not there when I got there had to attach trailer by myself. Hitch installer (another Uhaul facility) knowing what trailer I was going to pick up put a low rider hitch on the car and let me leave. After putting trailer on the dealer took pictures and the person who was on the other end questioned the way it sat. The person who does the trailer securing showed up and said everything was fine and took a picture from a different angle and said it would pass now. It wasn't till I got the trailer partially loaded and saw the trailer almost dragged on the ground that I realized that I needed a riser to safely haul the trailer so the next morning I went to the dealer in Dyersburg, purchased a riser hitch and the dealer helped me get the hitch changed and made changes to the the way the chains were set up and then I was good. Kudos to the dealer in Dyersburg for taking care of someone else's customer.

Kristy HThis location seemed messy and unorganized. I had requested a utility dolly that was approved on my reservation. Then when I got there to pick up the truck they told me they didn't have any. When I'm reality they were about 15 feet away in plain sight. They finally agreed they had one available. Once we got out to the truck we reserved we opened the back to load up the dolly and the state of the truck was horrendous. There were items left in the truck. Packing blankets throw about the truck. The truck itself was incredibly dirty. There was actually a layer of dirt all on the bottom of the truck. And what looked like clippings from bushes and hedges. Like someone used the truck for landscaping hauling. There was even a knife with a sharp exposed blade left on the side of the truck. I've never seen a U-Haul is such a bad state. The cab was really no better. Sticky wet substances all in the cup holders and in the hand hold in the door. Made you not want to touch anything. I took pictures of the back of the truck just for our protection because I just need the truck for a few hours to move a couple pieces of furniture and I didn't want to be responsible for the huge mess that was left for us.

Steven SDropping off was worse than the pick up. They would not check the truck for mileage, cleanliness or anything. It took two days to get confirmation that the truck was checked in. The "Thrift Shop" is filthy and smells bad. This is the worst place…and I wilnot be back.

They had to wait for the owner to show to complete the reservation which then took less than 10 minutes to do. Id recommend they train more than one person to do these if they are going to continue doing them.

Justin MI brought the truck back with the same amount of gas as when I received it and they charged me for 2 gallons of gas. On my way to turn it in, I fueled it up. The location is dirty, The truck was dirty. There was a furniture dolly in the back from the last rental. I made sure I returned it when I returned the truck. I returned the truck cleaner than when I received it. I will not be renting from this location again.
CLIFFORD MWell, all the blankets I got were unfolded and a mess. Nothing was explained to me at all. I was told to just drop the key off in the box, then the message told me to take a bunch of pictures and save $20. Ultimately I feel ripped off. Somehow my bill was way more than I imagined. Also, there were roaches in the truck! I hope somebody reaches out to me before I have to call!
William PI did a mobile pick up and drop off. During the drop off the app kept kicking me out. I ended up having to go inside the store.
Christopher RWe stopped and put $25 in the tank just prior to returning it. When we parked it Sunday night as we were told even though the text message I received just after leaving the dealership said I didn't need to bring it back until 12 Noon Monday, the fuel needle was above a quarter of a tank. Looking at the receipt, they obviously held to their promise no matter how much fuel was it I'd get charged a $30 fuel charge. I have to rent a truck again in a week or two... Uhaul will not get my business again. I'll be driving a yellow truck moving forward.
jason dI did the online check in and was charged for going 6 miles over, even though I returned the truck with more than half a tank of gas. Absolutely ridiculous you would charge me for going 6 miles over at $1/mile when I returned the truck with much more gas then it had when rented. I am very displeased!

Lynch MTruck had a pack of cigarettes left in it and smelled of smoke. Key kept getting stuck in engine. Padlocks didn't work so we had to go out at 10pm and buy our own. Customer service didn't care about my complaints at all. Would not use Uhaul ever again.

We were told by the female attendant that she rented the truck to deliver goods for the thrift store, then was told later by Chris that our truck was tripled booked by u haul. The cost of renting the truck more than doubled in a little less than a year ago
orben JTruck charger didn't work, so our phone died en route. This wasn't even the truck requested so we spent a fortune in gasoline for a 15 ft when all we needed was a 10ft. Of course, no credit for the extra expense.

Then on top of all that…I rented an appliance dolly (reservation made three days prior) along with a trailer. When I arrived the woman at the counter said they didn't have one. I asked where it was as I had reserved it. She said "I guess we rented it." I asked about other locations. She said she had no idea and that I would have to call around to find one. Absolutely horrible customer service.
Ken HI was on a tight schedule and when I arrived to pick up my rental no one was available to help me. After I called u-haul Chris called me and set up my rental over the phone. I then had to look for some one to help me hitch the trailer to my truck. I had to check the lights myself and hoped the brake lights were working. I will never use this location again.
DAVID SSince this store is not UHaul store, my reservation did not show in the system. Took too long to clear the trailer out.
HONG EThey said they didn't have equipment ready and we needed to go to another UHaul place. They didn't offer to check for us. After visiting the other location they recommended they had no availability either. If I rebooked with another location the price for same-day rental went up. We called back to the original location and a man in another state answered and said he would handle. When we returned, the truck wasn't ready HOWEVER, they did take care of it - and the attendant walking us to the truck was VERY helpful. All in all it worked out.
