Wishing there was a rating below "Poor". The man, Bob, working at this location was the most unhelpful individual I"ve ever encountered. He did not know how to process the Uhaul gift cards and was completely unwilling to even try to figure it out. I asked if he could contact UHaul and ask for assistance, to which he replied "No, but you can call them". That started everything off on the wrong foot right there. After spending over an hour with customer service (that's a whole other complaint) the representative stated he would have a field rep contact Bob to walk him through the process, At this point Bob said "Sorry, I"m going to lunch now.". I lost the movers because what should have taken an hour tops took two hours. Additionally I was forced to forego using the gift cards because he refused to wait for the field rep. This was the most unprofesinal person I've dealt with and he should not be an authorized Uhaul location.Kirstin E.

Horrible angry salesperson. Rude and disrespectful on both pickup and drop-off. Charged us for gas we didn't use. Truck had a broken fuel cap. When we pointed it out, he tried to make us feel stupid.Christina B.
The dolly was broken, I cut my fingers. I was charged for the Damm dolly and it didn't work. I explained to the guy but he was lying and saying that all his trucks are equipped and brought by Uhaul and he has no control, when he said that, I knew he was lying and didn't want to help me. The truck was tagged with graffiti, the right review mirror is cracked, the bottom part of the steering wheel is broken, the windows and mirrors were filthy, I had to stop at a gas station to clean the windows. Then he lied about the truck being "filthy", the windows were filthy and the last part is that there was an engine light and the truck had no power going uphill which I had to put the pedal to the metal and waste more gas. I don't understand how Uhual can allow a truck as such represent their name. The worst truck, and the worst experience dealing with over the phone.Marcelo A.

The person is so rude and did not honor the resolution given by a Manager for not getting the parts for the hitch that was supposed to be installed 08/16/21, he still charged us the regular rate. All he cared about was his commission. Not happy!!!!gregory I.
First off , the truck was old. There was graffiti written all over one side off the truck. Secondly, when I started the engine the oil light indicator was on, so I went and told the worker and he told me to disregard that, and it will be serviced soon. I had no confidence. The brakes were spongy and needed repair. The locking device at the rear lid could line up to fit a lock correctly. Lastly, I was charged 25 $cleaning fee which was a scam as it was a simple move and created no dirt or trash. It was sweep out, I'm not sure if I was suppose to clean of the graffiti or not? Scam, scam , scam. The only fair thing about it was the price, the pricing was excellent , but the scam is when you return it the lying cleaning fee.Thomas A.

When they order a truck a month in advance have one for him/her. I could not pack all of my belongings. I was given a truck shorter than I ordered. It was a HORRIBLE experience.Jack T.

The original pick up point was different and I think the lileage estimate of 67 miles based on that. Bottom line is I ended up being charged for exceeding the miles which really isn't fair. When I picked up he was unable to clarify how 67 miles was calculated.GLENN M.

The guy in the office was definitely the rudest I've ever encountered. When signing papers he threw the paper and pen at me and my sister and worst of all before our turn, he took the prior customers to their uhaul and showed them but when it came to us he literally threw the keys at us and told us go find the only van out there because he only had one van. Never again. I'll drive the distance for another location than to go back here again.Maria P.

Guy who worked there had a terrible attitude and also didn't check our truck back in till 8 hours after we returned it. Do yourself a favor and go to Penske or Enterprise next time.KYLE W.

Things went GREAT I rented space for the month here. I used another truck to get here. I used Red Carpet to move out. IF i have to do it again, I'll only use Red Carpet for the whole thing. This is my 2nd U-Haul in 10 days. Moved a kid from Boise to Phoenix. GO U-HaulMatthew L.

Worst customer service I have ever received in my life. Pitiful. Dishonest. Up-charge. Unprofessionalâ€"at best. Financial considerations aside: I STRONGLY urge any individual/couple/family/etc. to explore ANY other options rather than U-Haul for your next move. Fun Fact: even the Chatbot timed out mid-conversation and stopped replying. I am not an alarmist. I have the worst at customer service. I returned the vehicle the same day at 10pm. Now I'm getting over charged for returning my vehicle. I called uhaul to resolve the issue and nothing have happen. I called George Sandoval many time, the manager at that location he hasn't return my calls. This is very disappointing. I don't recommend coming here again.ANDREW P.

Made a reservation online where I was able to reserve and pick up a cargo van after hours by using the UHaul App. I made the reservation on May 5 for pick-up on May 7 @ 5:30 pm. ONE HOUR BEFORE MY SCHEDULED PICK-UP TIME I was called by UHaul and told that I could not pick up the van at 5:30 pm with the app, and I would have to show up in person during business hours to secure the pick-up. This caused an unbelievable amount of stress as that was my move-in day and I had to pick up the keys and finalize the lease contract at the new apartment AND secure the UHaul all within 1 hour. I was lucky the locations were relatively close to each other, so I was barely able to make it all happen with a LOT of help from my family. This location itself was fine, but the UHaul company ruined my night and nearly my entire weekend with their faulty reservation system, misleading claims, and unprofessional timing. BE CAREFUL RESERVING A TRUCK OR A CARGO VAN AFTER HOURS AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS.NICOLAS N.

Rude customer service. He did not wear a mask even though there was a posted sign in the office that it was required. It was my first time renting a Uhaul one-way and when I asked follow up questions the gentleman got impatient and said â€œI need to move on nowâ€. This place has had many bad reviews on google from other customers who also experienced rude service. They did not represent Uhaul well.MYHANH L.

Good conditions in general of the truck. The whole online experience was horrible. It depends on your location sharing capability on your phone and it did not work at all. I tried in two different phones with same results. Besides that all good.JOSE S.
Clean the cab of the truck. This truck had what appeared to be dried soda over most of the surfaces. I cleaned the driver side so I could use it. However especially with the current focus on cleaning touch surfaces, I was surprised to have this issue.Sherrie F.

I didn't start at this location. I went to the Harbor location where they told me they didn't have the vehicle, and that I would need to go to the Fairview location. He also told me I'd be paying $.99/mile, not 1,19 $. I had to take an Uber to the next location, costing me money since my ride had just left. That wasn't pleasant. Finding out at the Fairview location that there had been no adjustment to my mileage rate was also really annoying. Both Customer service people were nice. I was just annoyed by the whole experience and lack of communication ahead of time. Sure, you emailed, but it was a busy day trying to sort things out to get moving. Happy with service. Not happy with having to waste time and also pay more....Charles Chi L.
I knew it would be close to a two day rental but we were one hour over(25 hour rental) and I had to pay double for everything. There were chips on the floor and it smelled bad. They tried to charge me double for 2 dollies. If I didn't catch it, they would of charged me.Eugene Y.

Only 4 trucks on small lot and was told we had no choice of getting larger truck so we settled for 15'. The office rep was helpful getting lock open for us (we had a problem opening it); but overall quick service.Jeannette P.
when I got the pick up truck she said the tank was full, the gauge was a little below full, I thought it was no big deal, before the returning of vehicle I filled up the tank to above previous point the fuel gauge was, I have a recorded video of this, but now on my bill I see a 10 $charge for gas. The 800 number recommending the truck size was way off. It would be helpful regardless of number of bedrooms to ask what clients have to move. Our furniture barely fit in the 20 foot truck.Patrick S.

The man who helped us was rude, mean and grouchy. We were late and he called us told us we needed to get there or wait until 3. We were encroaching his lunch break. They do not answer their phone.We had to speak to the main number.Moving is a stressful experience, but the customer service was outright horrible. There was graffiti on the side of the truck as well. My husband went to return the truck. He had trash in it. The man said I will charge you for it. My husband asked for the keys back. He got the trash out, and he asked where the trashcan was. He told him there is no trash can. So my husband had to use the key again to take the trash somewhere else. Revoke this locations partnership, the attendant, who may also be the business owner is completely unprofessional. The attendant was extremely rude, aggressive, and conformational. In addition, he did not wear a mask during Covid-19. Hands down worst u-haul experience ever.George D.

I cannot say anything bad about this physical location. But u-haul as a company screwed up my reservation big time. I had scheduled a 20' truck to be picked up at 7am more than a week ahead of time. The night before I received a call letting me know that the location I had selected did not have it available until 9am. Which was fine at that point. I go to the location, and they don't even have a 20' truck available. No location within 15 miles had a truck available. Finally found one more than 25 miles away. Red Carpet didn't offer any type of comp for the major inconvenience, but I understand, it's not their fault. My move went from 7am to 12 pm by the time the truck was ready. I would still like for U-haul to provide some type of comp for the inconvenience of going out of my way (aside from the 50 $- which I won't see in my account for more than 3-4 days) some type of free miles would have been great. My initial round trip move would have been only 6 miles.Aurelio M.
Front driver side tire pressure was low (light on dashboard). Customer service did not find it worrisome. I was a bit perplexed as this truck would be used to have more heavier cargo once loaded. Smile when you greet a customer. Answer questions directly without sounding like you need to make the sale. I almost didn't use the service and wouldn't have if it wasn't for the fact it was 109 degrees outside to be doing trips on my truck. The location the woman could not smile for the life of her was in Santa Ana off of Fairview and Alton. First time ever renting Uhaul and last. A positive costs you nothing.rodrigo A.
