WHy are only certain Uhaul avaialble for dropoff? I drove by several uhaul places closer to my house for a place much further away because they were not listed.

Sarah was super friendly and made the check out process easy. Returning the truck was a NIGHTMARE. It was a snowy 8° out, and I park and go to throw the keys in the Dropbox, when I see I’m supposed to go to a webpage to check out. My fingers are numb and snow is making the touch screen spazz. Your site REQUIRES me to allow location sharing to my web browser which is a pain to go find and turn on and by the time I get back, I have to start all over. The process is apparently just getting started, and I’m cursing in the cold just wanting this to END. Horrible experience. Not Sarah’s fault.

It's Vermont. It's winter. The truck was from Arizona and had no snow tires so it wasn't able to get all the way in on a slippery driveway. Rent your trucks in the areas they're prepared for? That'd be a good thing.

Keys for my 24/7 pick up were not in the box. The in-store rep at Rent-A-Wreck was very helpful, but overall, ownership removing the keys from the pick-up box ruins the entire experience. Combined with issues with the 24/7 Pick Up procedure not outlining everything that was necessary for successful pick up, I will not be using UHaul's services in the future.

Didn’t have the cargo van. Gave me the 10ft no additional charge which was nice. It was dirty with a check engine light on. Couldn’t find the keys when I got there. Asked for a receipt When I returned and it took 10 mins to print it. Not because of printer issues but because the guy was doing something on his iPad

Supposed to be open by 8:30an but nobody arrived until 8:35am and then said she had to wait for the system to boot up. I signed up for the 24/7 pick up/drop off but I wasnt able to pick up until they opened because I got an error message saying no equipment was assigned to my reservation. Then they lost the key to the drop box which was also where the key to my reserved van was. I asked if the 10 foot truck in the parking lot was available instead of the 9 foot van I had reserved and for the nearly an hour I was waiting for them to find the key, I was repeatedly told they would give me the truck I stead of the van. After they finally located the key after 9am, I was given the van key and told the truck was already reserved. If that's the case, why offer it to me? Then I asked that my reservation be extended as I had signed up to have the van for 6 hours starting at 830am, but didn't get it til after 915am.....I was told it would automatically be extended since I technically did pick it up til after 915am (because of them) but I started getting alerts that the van was due back in 5 hours, not the 6 hours I had rented it for. The whole thing was awful and completely avoidable!

I have rented from this place a number of times now, and they never fail to get it right. Customer service with a smile keeps me coming back. The other location near me on Riverside Ave. doesn’t even come close, that one is run by angry elves!

Nothing at Rent a Wreck, they were great! but I initially reserved the uhaul at Agway. No one told me that Uhaul could change the pick up location and time with notification to the customer being in small print on the confirmation email. I had to switch my plans to move my elderly father with people helping me. Then when I called Agway the woman was not professional.

I usually have great experiences with U-Haul but at the location where I picked the truck up the person was rushed and totally uninformed. After a five hour trip I learned I had to drive an extra 20 minutes to drop the truck off. Rome was fine.

The vehicle was extremely dirty. The inside of the windshield was almost frosted because of dirt and condensation. There was also a severe buzzing noise after the sun had heated up the front of the truck. Made conversation impossible

I was really impressed with the service at Rent A Wreck. When my husband and I arrived our truck was ready and waiting for us with our auto transport hooked up. When we saw the truck in person, we realized we would need a bigger one. Jie and her husband were quick to offer us another solution (they had a 20' truck available!) and gave us options for picking up the auto transport at a later time. We got step by step demonstrations on how to hook up the transport and how to secure our car. Everything went really smoothly on a day that could have been very stressful! Thank you!!

Neither of these locations was my first choice. All three dealers complained of U-Haul's computer system and had trouble either with me or another customer. The Rent-A-Wreck South Burlington location is entirely too crowded, entirely too close to the busy road,, there is no parking and no turn around space. This results in stopped vehicles in an already crowded and overused shared driveway. Also I left a battery light in the cab of the truck. I dropped it off Thursday evening before closing time and yet it was gone by the next morning. The agent seemed helpful but my battery light is missing. Perhaps the door should have been locked overnight after the agent parked the vehicle.

The place was great in trying to assist an issue with my reservation. Even though I reserved a trailer a month in advance, the day before pick up I was informed to pick up the trailer an hour away from my designated pick up location. This was unacceptable and the regional office was not at all helpful. Luckily the manager of this location came in as I became very disgruntled and upset and provided a solution. She was great.

This is the review I posted on YELP: I had a great experience renting a U-Haul. Sara went above and beyond for me and I'm so grateful. It made the stress of moving from Vermont to North Carolina just a little less! I had made a reservation online at uhaul.com a few months ahead for a 10ft truck with my preferred pick up location on Riverside Dr. in Burlington. The e-mail confirmation said that I would be contacted with exact location to pick up closer to my moving date. On Sunday night, I got an e-mail saying the location had changed to Rent-A-Wreck on Williston Rd. (not a big deal) but that it was for a 15ft truck. I know from experience that I do not need a truck that big, it's harder to maneuver, higher gas cost, etc. First thing Monday morning, the day I was supposed to pick up, I called and spoke with a lovely manager? owner? named Sara. Although they didn't have a 10ft available, after hearing my explanation, Sara arranged to get a ride to ST. ALBANS (a 30 minute drive each way) to pick up a truck for me. She had it back in time for my original pick up time of 3:00pm and couldn't have been nicer about the whole situation. I would absolutely recommend using this company!

I will NEVER use U-Haul again from my experience with you. This was my first and last rental with a U-Haul facility. I had the worst coustomer experience and have been billed twice for your mistake and waisted hours of time to just try and pick up a truck. Everyone I dealt with was extremely unprofessional.

The car hauler was overall in pretty good condition except the rear wheel on the drivers side lost air. I didn't notice it until I was already on the road. I was able to inflate the tire at my fuel stops and didn't have a problem but it very well could have gone. I notified the guy I dropped the trailer off to and he said it would be taken care of. Maybe a better inspection before it is rented would help prevent issues like this in the future

I was in a panic because my daughter underestimated how much stuff she had to get out of her college apartment. I knew it was unlikely I would get a rental but David, customer service rep at this location did an outstanding job, called me back did what he could to get me into a rental and within hours had set me up. He went above and beyond what I would’ve expected during such a busy time.

This is not location I picked and purposely did not select this for a pick up location. Do not like that you select a location and then you change it at last minute It was VERY inconvenient for me to pick up at this location. I selected a location for easy access. This was NOT easy access. May use Penske in the future as they dont do this

I rented a cargo van. The picture online showed a ford transit cargo. That was the van I was specifically interested in. When I picked up the van it was an older style ford cargo. I had to use it due to time constraints but I was not happy. If I had time I would have cancelled the rental.

You should explain the purpose of the Tow/Haul function. On the truck I rented, it worked just fine for the first 300 miles or so and then the truck started to buck and lurch at speeds above 50 mph. Fortunately, I was at a stopping point for the day. That evening I looked around on-line and found that others have had this problem as well. The remedy was to disable the function. The next day I did that and the truck was fine for the rest of the trip.
