The truck was filthy, the engine light was on and there was no padlock on the truck making the stuff we loaded overnight insecure. I had expected better service from you.. the tank was only 3/4 full when I got it and I was told to refill to 3/4 which I did and I still got charged to fill the tank to full. Should get a full refund for your terrible service. I have enough to do just to move without all that going on.!

The bed of the truck needed to have been swept clean. I had asked for a dolly and it was not in the truck.
Maurice DWhen I asked the guy about my drop off location he said I could drop it off at wherever I wanted to and he said he set it that way for me since I'd most likely have to do an after hours drop off. I called the place I was gonna go to to make sure they wouldn't charge me extra for it and they said that was fine. I then get a call a day after I dropped it off and it was from a different location (on the same general area) apparently the guy had set my drop off location to a specific spot and didn't tell me. Thankfully they didn't charge me a fee but I felt bad for the people who were expecting a truck.

RUDHY PI rented and reserved a 9' Van, instead, when I arrived at the West Roxbury location (which looked terrible inside) they told me it was rented out and all they had left was a 10 foot truck. I was very disappointed. On the plus side all employees in the office were professional and courteous.
Jorge Ponly issue was upon arriving to pick up the truck another person was also reserved for the same truck, uncertain how two people were able to reserve the same truck and only one truck left at the location. Luckily the manager had my info, very happy.

Arlene CThe only issue I had with this location was that when I asked about how to pay tolls, I was told to just drive through and the tolls would be charged to my card by plate, but on the New Jersey Turnpike, the toll collector told me that was not correct.

Stephen MOur U-Haul had a headlight out, which we didn't notice until we were already driving through the night. These things should be checked before the U-Haul is picked up for safety.
Emily NWhen I tried to use online check-in, the website told me that I needed to see someone in the store. The store was closed but luckily an employee was on the grounds. He was very nice and assisted me but the truck I had booked was not available. He did offer me a smaller van. He also told me that they don't usually book for pick-up after 4pm because they're not staffed so I'm not sure why I was able to book it online. The van I used smelled of cigarettes. When I returned the truck, the area was dark and not well-lit as it was 9:30pm as planned. I dropped the key without taking pictures of the van, etc because it seemed unsafe as I was by myself. The man who helped me was really nice but overall the experience was not up to standards.

Richard RI have rented trucks from Rental Depot over the years and they're great. They get you in and out quickly and they're friendly. You don't usually get that from the stand alone UHaul centers. (I've rented trucks many times from them because i need a certain size that Rental Depot doesn't have and some of those UHaul managers can be miserable)
edward fThis is more a critique of uhaul than of the rental depot but the fees should be included in the rental fee. I have no problem paying fees, I have a problem expecting one price and learning about a higher price after the fact.
