Only a drop off box was located at this position. Did not know I had to use app to drop off truck was not told to use it. Dropped keys but didn’t know I needed odometer reading or talk pictures of truck. Had to go back to use location to complete return. Very disappointed with this service.

First of all, this is not the location I booked with and second of all, not a fan of the text messages with links I did not have the heads up about. I got a text when I got home to share my location so uhaul could see I delivered in time. And I was told by the associate I was late...so why did the text message come through when it did? Additionally, this location is isolated and dark and I felt very unsafe returning a trailer. Very unhappy with uhaul overall. This is the 3rd rental in 6 weeks I've attempted and whilst this one actually went through, the experience was stressful.

I made a reservation for a trailer for Friday aug 22 2019 in American canyon ca for 9:30 am I was told that uhaul opened at 9 am. I showed up at exactly 9:30 and they were closed I called and knocked on the door ...no answer, I went to the store next door and asked if they knew what was going on with uhaul, the man did not have any info for me I tried calling around to find another trailer but no luck then the man at the store next to uhaul came out and said the lady that runs the uhaul will be in 10 minutes i stayed in the parking lot calling friends to see if anyone had or knew of someone with a trailer I could use and then the uhaul office door opened and the lady told me she had been open for quite some time which I knew was false cause I called and knocked on the door and nobody answered. Then I found out she had already rented the trailer I had reserved because I “ didn’t confirm my reservation”...she had called me the day prior to verify and confirm my rental but I was at work and could not answer I then called back and left a message cause she didn’t answer and said that I will be there 9:30 am Friday morning of the 22 to pick up the trailer....I will never rent from this uhaul ever again nor will I refer anyone to this uhaul... with no other option I had to rent a smaller trailer from her and left uhaul at almost 11 am I will never rent from this establishment ever again nor will I refer anyone here

First, this was not our pick up location, nor was it the drop location. Still, after all the headache we went through to get this changed, it is still incorrect and that’s because the owner of Napa Gas, our pick up and drop off location, but who is also the owner of this location, messed up our reservation. When I arrived to our set location, he stated that my “reservation was incorrect,” but I don’t believe so. He ended up canceling my original reservation and creating a new reservation, but proceeded to make the new reservation incorrect as well. The pick up and drop off locations were incorrect and the amount of hours we needed the U-Haul was also incorrect. We have dropped off a uhaul and rented a uhaul from this owner, in the past and they were all terrible experiences, just never took the time to rate it. We will never rent from this owner again!

Didn't have requested dolly, didn't close out return timely even after calling to inquire, eventually had to go on the UHaul 800 number and wait 10+ minutes just to get a receipt and to make sure it had been checked in

Lady that checks people in at location always seems to be in a foul mood. Is not pleasant and it always appears as if providing information and service is a burden. I dread renting from that location for that reason.

When I got their nobody was in the office 29 min later a lady came out and she was high could not get it together she had a pipe which look like drugs I’m so upset why would I haul have a person working their like this she said she was trying out a pipe wow

5x8 trailer had just come in and had not been cleaned out. The manager used a small under-powered blower and cleaned it out for us. I had ordered a 5x8 one week before I needed and the. Received a call that none was available in Fairfield and that I would have to travel to American Canyon to pick up a 9x12 (not what I ordered). The rate was adjusted down $50 to accommodate me. Small effort in appeasing me. Upon arrival the 5x8 was available. The website would NOT accept the photos for my drivers license, thus I was unable to per-check in. Very rough experience in achieving what I set out to achieve. In the end, the trailer was acceptable.

I've rented at this location before without any problems and the old man was always friendly. However, this time the attendant seemed like she couldn't be bothered. I asked if it would be an issue if i returned the auto transport a few mins past my reservation time and she said if I did she would have to charge me another day rental. I have rented trailers from this location in the past and it was never a problem returning equipment a few mins late or after hours. The website said the place closes at 5pm, and my rental time was until 530pm. She told me that they closed at 5:30pm and it needed to be there by 5:30pm and that there was another reservation for the equipment to be picked up at 6pm. I asked how could there be a pick up at 6pm if she closed at 530pm. She said she closes whenever she wants. I arrived at the location a few minutes before 5:30pm and the place was closed. I called the phone number and the person that was there earlier answered and said they close at 5pm. I told her who I was and was returning the auto transport at 530pm like she wanted me to. She seemed surprised and said "ummm oh yeah i remember. Just leave the equipment there and I'll check it back in tomorrow." I reminded her of the 6pm reservation she told me about earlier and she commented "oh that's right. I'll call them and tell them the equipment is back." I have rented from U-Haul twice a year for the past 4 years and no one has ever called me 30 mins prior to my reservation to tell me equipment is ready for pick up. If the equipment was not going to be available i have received a call from corporate 24hrs in advance not 30 mins. Poor customer service this time around. Bring the old man back.
