The employee was on her phone while I was attempting to check out. She became preoccupied with other work. She indicated that someone would be out to help me lift the tandem axle trailer up on my truck's hitch but no one came to help. She did not provide me with a cable, which should already be connected to the trailer, so I had to go back inside and request a cable. The inside of the trailer was dirty, full of gravel and dirt.

The location I booked at, that was 7 minutes down the street from me, had multiple trailers for the entire rental period with no reservations on them. However, I was forced to drive 4 hours round trip to go pick up and drop off a trailer from a location very far from my house. I called to confirm with the original booking location and they confirmed they had the trailers and they had no reservations during or after my rental period. The reservation person who called to change the pickup and drop off location was anything but helpful and seemed completely disengaged and unwilling to help at all. Standard responses like "sir, the agreement states we can change the location of pickup at our discretion" were all I got. Based on this experience I will never use uhaul again.

The app did not work for the after hours pickup The van had dried clumps of mud in it and the passenger seat was loaded with animal hair The rear tires were both 20# low I had ordered 2 packs of blankets and they where not in the van

first time I rented uhaul. easy process except returning at night...it was difficult to take so many pictures of truck in dark.

26ft box truck, Check engine light was on, feels like transmission gear was missing, drove 190 highway miles it used 30gal of fuel, couldnt fasten the safety belt on passenger side, buckle was missing

Outstanding service! Used them last 2 weekends, bill accurate. Have dropbox for return keys on Sun. Highly recommend.

Picked up on Fri, vehicle was clean. Agent explained costs; gas, mileage. Returned on Sun, were closed. Got final bill on Mon, was accurate. Je les recommande fortement.

I will never use U-Haul again. I got ripped off on a bogus gas charge. I filled the gas tank to the same level as I dropped it off, and got a $60 fuel charge. I even submitted a picture.

Nothing please just close this location down. I received horrible customer service and the vehicle I received was not only beat up but the mileage on my contract was completely off compared to the odometer when I got into the vehicle. By over 4000 miles…. Overall just please don't waste more peoples money.

The Bolingbrook location was GREAT, but the only reason we had to use the Bolingbrook location was because even though we made a reservation two months in advance in Iowa city, U-Haul called two days before our move date and told us they did not have a truck for us and there were no U-Haul trucks available in Iowa supposedly. U-Haul actually does this quite frequently in Iowa City to college students. U-Haul takes more reservations then they actually have trucks for. Every year U-Haul cancels on people two days before their lease ends leaving them without a truck even though they had a reservation. So we had to get our U-Haul in Bolingbrook Illinois and drive an empty truck 200 miles and they charge $.99 a mile. We had a reservation to rent a truck in Iowa for 3 Days, drive it one way to Illinois for $300. Since they canceled our reservation we ended up paying $500 for 1 day to drive round-trip from Illinois. So we have a theory that in Iowa City U-Haul cancels any reservations that are for longer than one day so that they can cash in on more truck rentals. Renters please beware when you make a reservation with U-Haul. They will have you believe you have a reservation and then two days before your move they might tell you otherwise.

Friendly staff. Dropoff was a bit of a hassle (didn't get lockbox code and couldn't fit keys into slot)

I set my rental up for an after hours pick up ... Followed the instructions only to find the key was NOT in the lockbox ... Had to wait until they opened to get key which delayed my day by several hours. Staff was friendly and helpful to resolve the matter but put a cramp in my moving day.

Saturday 04/30/2022 was a rainy day, looks like the roof of the truck had issues and water was seeping thru, some of the furniture's were wet especially the mattress.

Disappointed trying to return trailer. 5 attempts online, 20 minutes on hold. Never connected, Hope I don't get charged late return Penalty.

Make your app work if you are gonna force people to use it. It just gave me error messages whenever I did anything so I had to speak with the cashier. This normally isn't an issue, but they were already closed so this lady had to stay after hours to help me. Also, when I dropped off the rental the app didn't actually register the return and I had to call uhaul directly to resolve it.

Great customer service! Reserved trailer at 9am walked in, checked in, and was hooked up and ready to go by 9:08am. Definitely will be using this location for the future.

Extremely pleased with the customer service I received. From the initial in store meeting/inquiry to the actual pick up and return of the equipment, I was pleasantly greeted and assisted. Yes, I recommend and use U-Haul again. The location used was Rentals Unlimited at 400 N. Schmidt Rd Ste C, Bolingbrook, Il. 60440. (2/12/22).

The trailer I rented was difficult to put on. The trailer also didn't even have the lock off from precious renter so I had to stop by Ace Hardware to boot cut it off and it wasn't swept out. The lady was super sweet though.

I was disappointed that I was charged for mileage from a location the was 20 miles further than where I booked from. I feel if the equipment isn't where I booked from some type of allowance should be given for the inconvenience.

I'm still waiting for my final bill even I turned my rental in early. I was on the hold for an hour, then it hung up on me. Then it hung up again. Just call me. Thanks.
