My reservation was for 12noon and I arrived on time but the UHaul representative "was at lunch". The very nice receptionist from the Auto Body shop helped as much as she could, but I ended up spending 45 minutes waiting. Another person picking up decided to leave because she could not wait. The trailer was parked in such a way that I was lucky to be able to drive away with it. No one helped with connecting it to my hitch. A broken down truck nearly obstructed my path, but I was able to maneuver. I was unable to return the trailer on time, but the UHaul app said the establishment was open until 7pm. I arrived at 5:15pm and the app wasn't working, no one was at the site. I called customer service the next day and was assured the return date would be 1/13 as contracted (albeit I was several hours late). No one returned my call and my receipt charged me for the entire extra 24 hours. Not my best experience, but a good value overall and trailer was great.

Lynda BNo service. Major challenges when trying to pick up and return on app. This should only be an open location when someone is present. Impossible to do on the phone
Sarae BThe app excepince is horrible. You should have had me work though all the proof of identity klong before sitting at the location. The lock for the keys is very hard to open.
Josh SI had a guaranteed time to pick up and when I got there the guy that did the Reynolds wasn’t even there he was 15 minutes late which messed my scheduling up and if it says guaranteed, I think you guys should honor that or compensate the customer for that.
Daniel FThey said they would check it in later which was fine but didn't want to give receipt and check it over before i left for any thing wrong and I didn't want them coming back on me so i made them check it out then check it in before I left.
Charlie MReserved a tandem axle 6x12 trailer for a 24 hr. rental. The guy at Rick's didn't have the equipment to lift the trailer on my factory hitch which was needed because the trailer was on a slight incline. I had to help get it on the ball. It took 15 minutes to hook it up with my help, but I didn't mind. He confirmed that the lights were working and off I went. I couldn't understand the dirty looks I was getting from motorists as I drove into Arlington. It turns out that the lights were defective and the trailer brake lights were on the entire time. No blinkers. Dangerous, but stuff happens. I return the trailer the next morning within the 24 hour period and mentioned the defective tail lights. I wasn't going to make a big deal out of the fact that I had rented a defective trailer. However when I checked my bill, I realized I was overcharged. Charged double! That I mind. I called Ricks and was told that I had not returned it until an hour or so after the 24 hr period. That's not correct. When I returned the trailer the next morning, there was no mention that I was past the 24 hr. period…. because I wasn't. No mention that I was going to be charged double. No paperwork. They must have checked it in late. So now I'm having to dispute the charge on my credit card as it is an unauthorized charge. I don't know if this is it a problem with Ricks or if this is how U-Haul generally does things, but it's bad business. That I do mind.

Kilania GHave a proper place to drop off the uhaul. Returning the uhaul took almost an hour. The app and the website were not working for the return. Had to stay on the phone with customer service for almost 50 mins to try and return the truck. A process that usually should take 5-10 mins.
Pavan CThere was a warning message on the entire time of the rental - Service Tire Sensor System with the low tire warning. I was nervous driving the truck. The customer service representative had checked the tires and they were OK - but I was honestly nervous the entire 366 mile trip that something would be wrong with the tires. This was not a safe feeling at all.

Liana BPurchase u haul on the 25th of February. My card was charged on April 1 over a month later for well over amount agreed putting me stranding with no resources the entire week end
Sikethia LThe guy in charge was more than rude to us. Wouldn't help us in any way. The door on U-Haul wouldn't open. He claimed it was probably frozen shut. He was super hateful, short and not like any of the U-Haul locations I dealt with on my rentals last summer. Very disappointed.
David LTruck was filthy inside and in cargo area. Truck had no gas in it. I had to go fill it up first thing. Then I had to clean it up before I drove it 1000 miles. The people at Ricks was frustrated and didn't wAnt to deal with us . Is how they made us feel Customer service is poor
Julie KThe folks at this location were very helpful and courteous. returned the trailer with no problems. but this location is a bit out of the way and is not an obvious U-haul location... i.e. no other u-haul equipment there and no u-haul signs.
Dennis MUpon arrival I was told there was no truck for me even though there was a truck way in the back of the parking lot. The shop was technically closed when I scheduled my pickup so I was lucky I even was able to find someone to talk to. I lost an entire night of my rental time because of the whole ordeal and had to drive really far away twice to pick up the truck. When going to turn in the Uhaul I tried on two different phones and different browsers to get the check in to work and could not. The $20 fee for not completing that yourself is absolutely ridiculous. I have used Uhaul several times and this was by far my worst experience.

Brian FInstall a U-Haul sign to show that you're an authorized dealer and provide instructions to customers for where they should park the returned vehicle on the property and keys after hours. A drop off form for UHaul customers would be helpful too. Not sure why a customer needs to tell them this basic stuff. Also they charged $100+ ($30 service fee + $75 gas) extra for gas when there was only a 1/4 tank difference between before pickup and after drop off.
Lynn KThe only problem I had was that when I opened the door to unload the latch got hung in door channel. But I dont think that anyone was at fault.
