Truck was filthy. Requested furniture dolly, and was charged for one, but none in the truck. Totally wasted trip AND day!!

I received a text message from U-Haul to deliver at this location, even if I had requested another which was closer. I returned the truck and transport one day early but there was no one at this location. So I followed instructions and left keys in the drop box. Very disconcerting. I got a text from U-Haul saying the truck had not been returned, so I called U-Haul and told them the truck had been returned as instructed the day before it was due. Offered to send mileage and pics but they said it was not necessary. I then spoke to the owner of the location three days later as a follow up, and he said that the regional rep was coming in later that day to receive the truck and close the contract. ?? This was not a feel-good nor reassuring experience with U-Haul. Not the location's fault, but U-Haul Corporate.

They were not open on Mondays when I dropped off a day early. A uhaul manager happened to be there and checked me in.

When we went to pick the truck up, it wouldn't start, so he jumped it off and said it should be fine. When we go to truck wouldn't start to move, here we are again, won't start. Had to have someone look at it, was the starter and then the brakes locked up while driving. So it took us longer to get moved, about 5 hours longer than it should have. Location was closed Saturday so no one to contact. Tried to contact on Monday and again today and no one answers the phone. Goes straight to a voice mail.

It took forever to get the group discussion in the tattoo parlor to break up to offer assistance. The attendant connected the trailer and said we were good to go. Five miles from the dealer the trailer disconnected from my truck and of course the hydraulic brake did not engage. Total garbage experience....totally disappointed. To add insult to injury, the fee charged was more than what was quoted as my price on the web. The U-Haul company's reputation is totally tarnished by this clown show.
