The self service wasn't working and I had to wait 20 mins while they called and set it up. The person who was in the office was amazing but your process wasn't working at all
MARY BLocation was excellent but the check-in process via the app was horrible. It took 25+ minutes to get checked in (including getting the key that was not where the app said it would be), which took away from my rental time. When trying to return the truck the app kept crashing and deleting the pictures I had taken. I eventually had to call customer service to finish the return. The check-out process took another 20 minutes, so of my 2 hour rental I spend 45+ minutes checking in and out.

Stacey FGood experience, maybe provide a little more information on getting the rental and then returning it since there is no representative to really assist and someone older might not be tech savvy enough to be able to pull this off. Otherwise, I thought it was a good experience.

jose pthe employee was great! But never rented a van that needed air in the front tire every 6 hours and the ABS system kept going off when slowing down slowly and was unsafe in my opinion and a cracked windshield to boot.

Marie FI tried to collect the vehicle but was prompted to provide extra verification such an original photo of my passport or a rental lease/mortgage deed!? Who carries this stuff around with them?!! If you had made a point of this at the time of booking I would have been prepared and brought these documents with me. Instead I had to cancel my booking, drive back home to get my passport and mortgage deed and then go back to same location to initiate the mobile pick up. When returning the vehicle, I was prompted to drop the keys in the drop box. The key didn't fit in the drop box as the slot was too narrow. Luckily I remember the code to the lock box and was able to lock the key in there. As much as I appreciate the mobile pick up is very convenient when it works. This was the first time I had used it and I felt the initial instructions could have been better to make it VERY clear that further verification would be required at the time of pick up. This way people could be more prepared and not waste the best part of two hours trying to do a mobile pick that is supposed to be "quick and easy".

HARRY WThis poor rating is a reflection partially in the location and partially on Uhaul. My truck came with a near empty gas tank that cost me $70 to fill to 3/4. I left it with an extra 1/4 more than I started with. The uhaul website crashed 6 times when submitting Information for the early pickup and took me 45min just to get my rental. It then crashes 4 times when dropping the truck off and took me 30mins just to deliver. You then charged me for fuel ($21) even though Uhaul already got an extra 1/4 tank more thanks to me, compared to what I started with.

Marius ZThe UHaul was parked within inches of two other UHauls and I was given the one directly in the middle of the set of three. The space to back out was barely 23,5 feet. Which left less than a foot to maneuver the vehicle. I had to do a 15 point, then I felt I was stuck so I went inside to ask for assistance. The associate then tried to accomplish a 30 point turn and finally the UHaul was ready to go. She was very friendly and helpful. It was a long process just to pick up a vehicle and they were parked terribly.
Tyler PEmployee at this location was rude and unhelpful. They didn't have the dolly that I had already paid for and he was unwilling to do anything about it. I had to call uhaul myself. Will never go back to this location.

Ndebe SMy rental was way past it's glory days. Suspension was shot Engine needed tune-up. Truck was clean except for the inside windshield was filthy. The main issue was that the rental was way to expensive. It cost me over 200 plus 50 in fuel for An 8 hr job. Was extremely disappointed at this and will not rent from U-Haul again, nor recommend them to anyone.
LEO GDolly wheels were deflated and unusable Location processing feature on app during checkout was malfunctioning. Spent 30 minutes trying to check out before giving up. Hopefully others don't experience this.
Kevin WThe truck ran great and was easy to dive. I like the zero contact rental process. I had to extend the drop off time by 3 hours and that was easy to do too.
Michael DThe folks a the location were first rate, but the online system from U Haul was atrocious. I mean, start with asking for elements that I should have know to prepare prior to leaving the appointment setting app. No response from Chat for 15 minutes at a time and never offering a reasonable answer. Took over 45 minutes to get my vehicle, and then only because John at the Storage Locker found a way. I missed my ferry and extended my day by 2 full hours.

PHILIP MI showed up for my rental and no one was there and there were no instructions. After calling Uhaul they told me that they didn't know where they were and I had to check it out on my phone. Which would be fine, but the location does not have wifi so it kept dropping off during the process. And, the person working there drove by me when I was waiting for the truck - no help, no explanation and then when I went to drop it off - there were two of them there! No help, no explanation. Never again at this location! So rude.

MARK LMy customer service provider was excellent. But, i only had the van for 2 hours and rove 44 miles and the refill cost me 6 gallons of gas, ~$18.00. That's 7,3 mpg, which is terrible. What started out as $19,99 and 0,79 per mile, quickly turned into a near $100 ordeal. Although the vendor and the rep. were great, it would be hard for me to repeat as a customer with UHaul trucks and will try to explore more economic options, perhaps trailer, since their fleet is way behind on technology and reasonable cost of operation.
AFSHIN AWell you overcharged me for a day $79. I've spoken to Dawn and was forwarded a credit of $39,9 which is wrong and I have not received any credit spoke to them 5 times zero resolution!!

John SThe only minor issue I experienced was using U-Haul app to scan my own back side of my driver license on my own phone, for some reason did not work, so the clerk had to take a photo using the company's phone. But at the end all the clerks I worked with were very experienced and helpful. Keep up the good work. Mahmoud jabet

Louis GThe whole "put the same amount of gas back in truck when returning " is a total scam . I bought gas and returned truck with same amount of gas in it , and they charged me $57 fee for not returning it with same amount . Total scam , it's her word against mine ? There's now accurate way to track it , and she was hostile on the phone when I called about the sneaky charge . Never again will I use uhaul . A thief is a thief !!
Kevin SWith this new system online check in was extremely slow process. Whoever checks photo ID's is way too critical. It took me 5 phone calls to finally get cleared. Over an hour process cost me more money because I hired a helper to move and he had to wait for all of this to clear before we could start. I'm not a satisfied customer.
