I returned the trailer around noon on Thursday, February 29, as I said I would, and I just received an invoice for over $400 saying I returned it on March 12. What a scam! 24 hours later I still have not received word that they have issued my credit back to me.

The lady at the counter was great. I was the owner of the business that was difficult to work with. While the main problem was that I didn't call Uhaul to let them know I was dropping off the trailer at a different location, the lady at the counter said it was not a problem. Well, it was a problem. lol. Thats on me. After seeming to have lost my trailer for a while, it took Uhaul 5 months to bill me for my mistake. At least it was a fair price.

I WOULD recommend BUT ONLY IF YOU PICK UP LATER IN THE AFTERNOON/EVENING! This experience was VERY PLEASANT - a HUGE DIFFERENCE from my 2 previous experiences with this location (picking up early in the day!) This young woman was polite, friendly and professional a MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT over her male counterpart who works in the mornings/early afternoon!!

Strictly due to the surly, unfriendly, misogynistic young man who works during the morning hours - I'd ONLY RECOMMEND this location in the late afternoon when a woman works the register/registration desk!

Find better customer service employees. This location is a convience store/gas station. The guy that works mornings is surly, unfriendly and MOST OBVIOUSLY does NOT care to interact with women! Because of his contempt for women (or possibly me, despite all attempts to be friendly) he cost me a deposit that I SHOULD NOT have had to pay because he couldn't be BOTHERED to do his job and investigate when his system stated a deposit was due AFTER I'd ALREADY rented a 26' truck from the SAME LOCATION/SAME GUY 2 days prior!! (Ended up being ONLY that my credit card on file didn't show a zip code!!! Found this out several days later when we had to rent a THIRD unit from the same location, but at night, with a WOMAN attendant.) The lady was MOST HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY!!!

Return was at 7 I called at 6:54 to find key drop off no drop off location turns off pumps so you don't refill gas (only during operation) it's at a gas station. Guy called me at 8:29 and reported I dropped off at 8:30 so was charged 40 dollars for another day called corporate have yet to receive money back and yes charge is posted

Have someone that actually cares about customers and the uhaul equipment. Retrain this personnel or revoke it's license. The gentleman didn't inspect the trailer after I dropped it off, didn't assist me in unhooking it and worked so slow.

Uhaul had no gas in it but paperwork showed 1/2 a tank. Told the worker and he had me fill up the tank and told me to just let the drop off location know. I didn't even use 1/2 a tank of gas but I spent $80 to fill it up.

Good service since the original pickup was a disaster. Software (travel24) failed and I had to drive 30 miles to get another truck. Nightmare scenario since people were coming from 2 hrs. away to help me load the truck.

I would recommend to making sure that vehicle is inspected prior to letting customer drive it off the location. Engine light was on: Vehicle operated great. Pressures and temperatures were normal.

Where do I start ? First of all the place is a dump! Local alcoholic hangout after 4 pm . I know because I live in East Bernard. Had reservation for 6x12 trailer on Monday 10-10-22 at 4 pm. Only one store cashier and she was busy selling beer to the above mentioned, she did her best to help but trailer had flat tire and the rest needed replaced. Tongue of trailer was sitting in a huge fire ant mound and if I did rent the pos no one there to help lift the heavy thing up to the hitch! Went back in the store and told cashier the situation and she did her best to make another reservation at another store in Wharton,Tx so I headed that way, 15 miles away. Unfortunately they close at 5 and I was 3/4 of the way there and the lady from East Bernard called and said they were not answering. So I turned around and went home. I found out the next day that the store owner in Wharton had to leave a few minutes early because some cattle had gotten out of her property. I completely understood that reason. I would recommend Wharton location but East Bernard needs a different dealer for sure and I would never rent a Uhaul piece of equipment from them even though it's convenient. Hope this helps because you would have heard from me one way or another. Thanks

The trailer was not there for pick up. The owner called 30 minutes prior to our pick up time to say it was stolen that morning. This may or may not be true, but it certainly was one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had.

Do not show an option for mobile pick-up if it's not actually available. The guy didn't even know what mobile pick-up is and it wasn't until after we had been there waiting to check-in that we found out this location didn't offer it (even though that is how is how the reservation was set). This location is supposed to open at 6am, and he didn't show up until just after 6:15am. He was very slow at getting us checked in. It was frustrating.

Uhaul itself is an issue. I was quoted 0,69/mile went to pick up and it's 0,99/mile. Lastly I rent for 6 hrs and was charged for 2 days. Spent 1,5 hrs total wait time between 2 phone calls only to submit claims and wait up to 72 hrs. P/U service 5 out of 5, Uhaul corp service 1 out of 5.

No improvement needed. It was the only uhaul near Sealy Tx Uhaul needs to update website. All the other places listed no longer existed or had no equipment. Think goodness for the East Bernard location it was also open at 8 on Sunday

There was an old open beer can shoved in the glove compartment of the uhaul I used. And the riverside drive in location would not give me any paperwork on the rental nor give me a breakdown of my charges when they couldn't figure out how much they wanted to charge me. First they said $242 then $191. Ive use the storehouse mini storage location several time and have never had a problem like this before. I called uhaul and explain the situation that I was havong and the Diane chick said she call me right back and after an hour went by sitting in a hot car with my 2yo daughter I decide to call her back and she sounded like she was surprised to hear back from me. I asked her what was going on and she said oh let me see. I was on hold for another 10min then when she came back she said that my final total was $191 and some change and need to pay 46 and some change. I asked if she could send me a bill and a breakdown of my charges and she said yes that she would close the contract with a promisary notice and the breakdown of all my charges but 5 hours later still no email or any kind of written statement of my charges. Any other time ive used uhaul ive always had paperwork and emails showing charges and everything but this location they refuse to do either. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyo!!

I have used uhaul many times in the past without issue. This was the worst pickup experience I have ever had. First I made and paid for reservation online. When I got to location I was informed trailer was not available and couldn't give me time it would be. He'd couldn't gear any answers on where I could find as I needed to leave town that day. I then called uhaul myself and was on hold 30 min before getting a hold of someone. They finally located trailer at east bernard location. When I arrived trailer was visible but stuck in 2 foot high grass. There person at check out couldn't figure out how to operate uhaul app to complete my reservation. I essentially had to operate app myself to guide him through checkout. After 4 hours just trying to pickup a trailer, I finally attempted to connect the trailer to my vehicle only to discover the wiring harness was to short to connect to my vehicle. Entire experience wasted my entire day.
