I have a comment for Uhaul. I didn't receive a copy via email of my updated contract when I turned in the cargo van. When am I going to receive the updated copy?

scott J.After a terrible start it ended up smooth. We were originally scheduled to pick up the van at another location on 25A at 7am with the key being left in a lockbox but when we got there no key was to be found. We had to call the 800 number and after trying to figure out the key situation they sent us to this other location. At the original pick up location the station attendant had no idea about any key and was not able to be of any help. When we booked at the first location obviously they had no idea how this works. He input our information and told us we were all set. That was not the case at all, far from it. Once we were directed to the new location we had to do a bunch more things on the app. It was a very frustrating start and put us an hour behind our original schedule.

You need an easier option if your technology isn't working in this process.

Raymond F.I booked a truck to return at a different location and was told that I could not when I arrived. The key was also locked in the box and the staff could not get it open which delayed the usage of the truck. The spare key did not work either. The staff was nice but I wish the website was more clear when booking.
Rich M.I was extremely frustrated returning the vehicle. I was on my way to get gas driving all the way out of the area due to no open gas stations, when it started to rain really hard. I went to use the windshield wipers and the driver side was broken. It was flopping around on the windshield and it eventually snapped. I was afraid it was going to break the windshield. I couldn't see, I could barely drive. I had to eventually give up because it was so late and I had work in the morning so I just dropped it at the station since I knew how to get there instead of driving around looking for a gas station. I don't think I should be charged the fuel fee.
Rebecca K.Lots of traffic near there so plan ahead. Truck was not clean and given the need to use your phone for directions there was no usb connection which is ridiculous in this day and age.

Greg R.I went to return my tow dolly first because it was difficult riding in the snow with it on and I needed to unload the uhaul into storage. I went in to do that and she said she wasn't sure if I could return one at a time and she wasn't sure if I could leave my car parked there and if I did it could only be one hour. (Very specifically and in a rude way) The we continue to see if we could check in the tow dolly and I asked if someone could help me take it off because it didn't seem like anyone wanted to help. The lady behind the desk said well I don't know how to take it off(in a rude way) and I was like ok.. I guess I can try but I really don't know how and I don't want to risk breaking something. Then she goes to the back and asks someone if they can get the tow off for me and he said yeah if you charge the unload fee.. so I was like no it's okay I'll watch a video and try myself. I did so and I was unable to because the uhaul video I found did not match the tow dolly I was given. I had a 10 hour drive here in the snow and had been lifting boxes for hours by myself.. I spent like 20-30 minutes trying to get it off. My hands got disgustingly muddy and black from the dirty snow/salt. My pants were wet and I just gave up. I went back inside to ask for help and the lady laughed and I said I could ask for roadside assistance if they didn't know how to either and she laughed and walked away and asked the guy again and he said yeah in a few minutes. I waited like 10 minutes and he got it off in 5 minutes. Lol. I have used uhaul 3 times in the past 2 years and they always put it on and take it off for you. It was just a very frustrating visit. Once I came back with my uhaul it wasn't as bad of an experience and they were easy and quick.
Brittany L.There is limited cell or WiFi service here so remote pick up and return is almost impossible. The location rep told me to pre load my info at home for this reason but app only lets you load info at pick up location. U-Haul customer service was no help at all.when I contacted them about pre loading my drivers license at home. I will never use U-Haul again.

JOSEPHTHOMAS L.Check in and out process was crazy complicated. Couldn't remember the code to put the key back. Truck had less than 1/4 tank gas. The owner of the place where it was had no idea how the process worked, plus they were closed, I just happen to be there the same time he was doing something. The app didn't work, gave a blank white screen when I tried to check in, so I used the mobile website, which signs you out every time you close the browser, app too. Would not use again.

Worst check in and pick up - get your tech working first. Dealers scan code faced the sun, impossible to get no glare. Was not told I would need to refill gas or pay g price gouging prices. Going to Home Depot next.

KENNETH S.I rent UHauls periodically. This was, without question, the worst truck I have ever received. The front axle sounded like it was going to fall off with every bump I hit. When your trip is 200+ miles on highway it was a constant occurrence. there was a slight draft coming through the driver door and the truck struggled to maintain speed going uphill. I was travelling upstate NY so there were many uphills! The truck also pulled slightly left. I don't expect luxury options in a moving truck, but white-knuckling it for 200+ miles was crazy! Couldn't return this piece of junk quick enough. My first bad experience with a UHaul rental. Hoping it was a one time occurrence.

ALEXANDERSCOTT D.If this location is going to advertise that they will be open at 9am for customers to pick up a vehicle, then the person who is responsible for handling the U-Haul rentals should not arrive at 9:20am. At the very least, extend an apology to those who were waiting because that was not forthcoming at all.
KEVIN M.It took 35 minutes for self pick-up. The barcode at the location was behind smoked glass and was not scannable. Your website was unless to help I had to chat with cust srvc and eventually had to log out and back in to get you site to work right. Self pick up is terrible.
