I booked the truck for a 24/7 online pickup. When I went to retrieve the key, all of the keys weren't in the lock boxes. Luckily, someone was still there to go inside and get a key. If not, I'm not sure the keys would have been in the pickup box.Joseph H.

Bald tires, a quarter tank of gas, the dolly I had reserved wasn't there, and I had to buy one. The people were nice, so I will definitely give them that credit. But Uhaul need better maintenance on the trucks, and to make sure folks get what they paid for.William S.

Cargo area not swept. Constant low tire pressure indicator on front right tire, even when inflated. Not their fault, but after hours return through the UHAUL app was a pain in the ass. Would not accept photos, and no by-pass method to correct this. Had to call central help and wait for 15 minutes. This is the primary reason I would not recommend using this location if after hours return was needed.Paul L.

Looks like the U-haul business is just a side venture. Needs to be upgraded to the normal company standards. People were very nice. Truck was marginal, could not get up to highway speed. Front wheels shook over 65 mph. The handtruck was unusable, tires were flat and axle was rusted. I was told the tank was 3/4 full, and it was. However, the receipt in the email received later erroneously showed the tank to be 7/8 full. I filled the tank to a little over 3/4 before returning the truck. Then I was charged &10,92 for two gallons. Not a big deal but I've never had such a poor experience before when renting from U-Haul.Herbert B.

We selected to pick up with our mobile device and it took 45 mins to verify everything and then we had to go inside the store anyway to get the keys. I also ordered an appliance dolly and moving blankets with my purchase, and there weren't any in the truck when we picked it up. When we asked about it, the guy said they didn't have any, but no one even called to tell me so that I could get it elsewhere. Overall it was a very disorganized experience and lacked significant communication.Jeremy B.

I reserved the vehicle on the UHAUL app. I went to the location to pick up the moving 10 foot moving truck a week later. Pickup date was 12 February 2022. The app was not working at that location. I had to wait in line to get a truck. After checking in, I had to give the store the same information I gave online, to get a truck. Nothing saved. After the event was over, I brought the truck back by 1500hrs, on the same day. No one was there. Again, the app was not working for turn in. I called the 1-800 for UHAUL. I was told the location below closed at 1200hrs on Saturday. Rocket Performance 9314 Madison Blvd Madison, AL 35758 The UHAUL Customer Service said they were going to record that I turned in the vehicle on Saturday, 12 Feb 2022 before 1500hrs. I aske for an email to confirm turn in and I would take pictures of the odometer, clean truck, dolly in the back of the truck. I was told there was an orange drop box around the building. Since nothing was marked, I walked around the building three times, found an orange box and dropped the key inside. I called back on Monday, 14 February 2022 but got no answer. Today, UHAUL customer service said they do not open until 1200hrs on Mondays. It was recorded that I had the vehicle for an additional two days and was charged that amount on my credit card. I received an email from UHAUL customer service, to send the pictures I took on 12 February 2022.DARYUS E.

We had a reservation to pick up at 9 am on 2/12. Someone finally showed up at 9:10 to open. There were several of us waiting at that point. The trailer were received was full of red clay mud. Additionally, the attach points for the tie downs were lacking. Definitely better designed trailers on the market. This location does not have a sign to identify its location and is located behind other buildings. Extremely frustrating because what should have been a 30 minute task took almost two hours to complete as the two other Uhaul centers where I stopped directed me to the one location without a sign.BOBBY J.

The drop off location guy was understanding of our situation and didn't charge us for being late when we clearly paid for the extra days. This has to be one of the best locations I have ever dropped off a uhaul trailer. There was plenty of room to drop off the trailer and it will probably be the location I rent from if I need to rent equipment locally. Even though o dropped off after dark, there was enough light to do what was needed and the parking lot was large enough you could turn around without even having to back the trailer.Aubrey W.
