Cheril L.The biggest mistake I ever made was shipping boxes with uhaul. I spent hours on hold with many phone calls, trying to find out where the boxes were and then trying to get delivery. Not only did boxes arrive late, many items were damaged. I don't think there is anything uhaul could have done, to make this experience any worse. Therefore, I would never co sister recommending uhaul to anyone!!!

I know you folks are trying your best, but we had a reservation for a 10ft truck over a month before we needed to pick it up. This reservation was at a close location to where we were living, however, we still were directed to Castle Hayne, rather than Wilmington.

DEEPAKRAJ N.Ordering the boxes was the worst moving experience I've ever had. There was poor communication on the part of uhaul. My delivery was delayed to my home after waiting over 20 days for my items to arrive. I spent several hours on the phone just trying to find out if I was getting a delivery on the day I scheduled and was unable. I took time off work to be there for the delivery and still didn't receive my items that day. This was probably the worst uhaul service I've ever received.
Kevin C.Jack at Rocktops is difficult to work with as he does not have social skills and feels entitled to others catering to him. Probably the most unprofessional customer service experience I have ever had. I.e., condescending and rude to both me and my movers. With regards to Moving Help, he said “they all suck†on the phone. He did give me the name of a mover he liked, but said he would not give me their number because he is “mad at them.†This guy is hurting your business and should not work with the public. I also was supposed to be notified when my container arrived. That did not happen. Also when calling UHaul customer service (5 times total), most representatives seemed untrained and I had to coach them in order to get the help I needed. I've had only positive experiences (just renting trucks tho), but this experience has led to such a bad taste in my mouth that I will never ever use Uhaul again and I will actively discourage others from doing so.

Jim S.I had to contact uhaul in general so many more times than I should have. I had to call especially for pickup 3 times. It was scheduled, then rescheduled, the scheduled again, then wasn't picked up the 28th, so then I had to call to see what was going on, then they told me they would call be back to confirm, never did, just got the text they were going to be there today. Still was charged an extra month for my rental after they failed to pick up.

PATRICIA M.Let customers know if there truck they reserved is not available to pick up on scheduled day so they don't waste there time and money and do more mechanical checks on your trucks ESPECIALLY on one way long distance trucks.

Laurie D.This experience was terrible. They call me three hours before my scheduled pick up time for a trailer to tell me there wasn't any available. I had to drive AN HOUR AND 20 MINS to pick up the trailer I had requested days prior. They offered no discount and on top of that charged ME extra when I tried dropping off the trailer at my originally requested location. UHAUL expected me to make another 2 HOUR AND 40 MIN ROUND TRIP just to drop off a trailer. I'm definitely going Penske next time I've never had this issue with them and being in the military we move often. Very dissatisfied and just disappointed.

Jillian L.My UBox came 3 days after the guaranteed date and no one could provide me an update or reason as to where it was or why it was late. I got a notification on my account that my UBox had arrived, but no confirmation from the destination location. When I called he said it was not there and it was no longer in his computer. I called customer service and they told me it was there... after customer service called the location it was confirmed that it was in fact there, although he told me it wasn't. On top of that, the moving company that I chose from the UHaul Moving Help page went out of business after I prepaid, so I had to find my own movers to pick up my container last minute and pay again. When my movers got there, they were informed that the UBox had not been properly inspected when it left Denver, and was so badly damaged that it was not safe for transit and needed to be on a special trailer. After turning my movers away and making them rent a UHaul trailer to tow my container, I finally received it. The UBox itself was splintered on the sides and the lock had bent so we had to pry it open. Somehow nothing inside was damaged, thankfully. Overall, yes they're cheaper than moving trucks, especially when going long distance (we moved almost 1 800 miles), but you get what you pay for and I will not be using UBox ever again.
Alexis P.The U-Box containers were great. I ordered 4 and needed 6. Also i ordered them 2 weeks before loading. I also ordered help to load and bring the boxes. They were great. even though it took them an extra two hours. They had to go to two location to get the required boxes. The deliver to our new home cause another problem. Our boxes were at the delivery point on time. But they don't deliver them to our new location. i Went on Movers and ordered movers to find out that they are only labor to empty the boxes and don't deliver boxes. Because they were own by military personal they found a person to deliver the boxes. Yes it cost more. It was set up that the u-haul would have two, two box trailers. Two boxes to be delivered at a time. On the second run we found out that the U-Haul location only had one two box trailer and one, one box trailer. That meant an extra trip for the driver and delay in empty the boxes. Luck for us the company we used stayed with us and got the job done at no extra cost to us. Go Military company's. They will stick with you until the job is done.
RICHARD P.The 'manager' at rocktops in Castle Hayne Nc seems more focused on his countertop business than uhaul. His contractor to move the pods was very professional and prompt but she does not work out of this location. Getting her information from him was more complicated than it needed to be. If I choose to move using these boxes again I would not do it if I have to deal with rocktops again.
Ely M.I was ripped-off at this location . My original online order for the trailer . I opted out of the insurance. It was slipped in on my order,at the location without my consent. They had me sign on a small digital tablet devise. I was picking up the trailer. I couldn`t see the area on that contract. Where these crooks added the insurance. I noticed these charges on my card latter. I went back to the location,they claimed nothing they could do. Look at my online order. I even pre-checked out. The insurance wasn`t on the online order.
